بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. صٓۚ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ذِي ٱلذِّكۡرِ

    1

    Sad. By the Qur'an containing reminder

    സ്വാദ്‌- ഉല്‍ബോധനം ഉള്‍കൊള്ളുന്ന ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ തന്നെ സത്യം

  2. بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فِي عِزَّةٖ وَشِقَاقٖ

    2

    But those who disbelieve are in pride and dissension

    എന്നാല്‍ സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ ദുരഭിമാനത്തിലും കക്ഷി മാത്സര്യത്തിലുമാകുന്നു

  3. كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن قَرۡنٖ فَنَادَواْ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٖ

    3

    How many a generation have We destroyed before them, and they [then] called out; but it was not a time for escape

    അവര്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പ് എത്രയെത്ര തലമുറകളെ നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചു. അപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ മുറവിളികൂട്ടി. എന്നാല്‍ അത് രക്ഷപ്രാപിക്കാനുള്ള സമയമല്ല

  4. وَعَجِبُوٓاْ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٞ مِّنۡهُمۡۖ وَقَالَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٞ كَذَّابٌ

    4

    And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves. And the disbelievers say, "This is a magician and a liar

    അവരില്‍ നിന്നുതന്നെയുള്ള ഒരു താക്കീതുകാരന്‍ അവരുടെ അടുത്തു വന്നതില്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് ആശ്ചര്യം തോന്നിയിരിക്കുന്നു. സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഇവന്‍ കള്ളവാദിയായ ഒരു ജാലവിദ്യക്കാരനാകുന്നു

  5. أَجَعَلَ ٱلۡأٓلِهَةَ إِلَٰهٗا وَٰحِدًاۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيۡءٌ عُجَابٞ

    5

    Has he made the gods [only] one God? Indeed, this is a curious thing

    ഇവന്‍ പല ദൈവങ്ങളെ ഒരൊറ്റ ദൈവമാക്കിയിരിക്കുകയാണോ? തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇത് ഒരു അത്ഭുതകരമായ കാര്യം തന്നെ

  6. وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلۡمَلَأُ مِنۡهُمۡ أَنِ ٱمۡشُواْ وَٱصۡبِرُواْ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمۡۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَيۡءٞ يُرَادُ

    6

    And the eminent among them went forth, [saying], "Continue, and be patient over [the defense of] your gods. Indeed, this is a thing intended

    അവരിലെ പ്രധാനികള്‍ (ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ട്‌) പോയി: നിങ്ങള്‍ മുന്നോട്ട് പോയിക്കൊള്ളുക. നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ ക്ഷമാപൂര്‍വ്വം ഉറച്ചുനില്‍ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇത് ഉദ്ദേശപൂര്‍വ്വം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു കാര്യം തന്നെയാകുന്നു

  7. مَا سَمِعۡنَا بِهَٰذَا فِي ٱلۡمِلَّةِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخۡتِلَٰقٌ

    7

    We have not heard of this in the latest religion. This is not but a fabrication

    അവസാനത്തെ മതത്തില്‍ ഇതിനെ പറ്റി ഞങ്ങള്‍ കേള്‍ക്കുകയുണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല. ഇത് ഒരു കൃത്രിമ സൃഷ്ടി മാത്രമാകുന്നു

  8. أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلذِّكۡرُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِنَاۚ بَلۡ هُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ مِّن ذِكۡرِيۚ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِ

    8

    Has the message been revealed to him out of [all of] us?" Rather, they are in doubt about My message. Rather, they have not yet tasted My punishment

    ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയില്‍ നിന്ന് ഉല്‍ബോധനം ഇറക്കപ്പെട്ടത് ഇവന്‍റെ മേലാണോ? അങ്ങനെയൊന്നുമല്ല. അവര്‍ എന്‍റെ ഉല്‍ബോധനത്തെപ്പറ്റി തന്നെ സംശയത്തിലാകുന്നു. അല്ല, അവര്‍ എന്‍റെ ശിക്ഷ ഇതുവരെ ആസ്വദിക്കുകയുണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല

  9. أَمۡ عِندَهُمۡ خَزَآئِنُ رَحۡمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡوَهَّابِ

    9

    Or do they have the depositories of the mercy of your Lord, the Exalted in Might, the Bestower

    അതല്ല, പ്രതാപിയും അത്യുദാരനുമായ നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ കാരുണ്യത്തിന്‍റെ ഖജനാവുകള്‍ അവരുടെ പക്കലാണോ

  10. أَمۡ لَهُم مُّلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَاۖ فَلۡيَرۡتَقُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَسۡبَٰبِ

    10

    Or is theirs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend through [any] ways of access

    അതല്ല, ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും അവയ്ക്കിടയിലുള്ളതിന്‍റെയും ആധിപത്യം അവര്‍ക്കാണോ? എങ്കില്‍ ആ മാര്‍ഗങ്ങളിലൂടെ അവര്‍ കയറിനോക്കട്ടെ

  11. جُندٞ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهۡزُومٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابِ

    11

    [They are but] soldiers [who will be] defeated there among the companies [of disbelievers]

    പല കക്ഷികളില്‍ പെട്ട പരാജയപ്പെടാന്‍ പോകുന്ന ഒരു സൈനികവ്യൂഹമത്രെ അവിടെയുള്ളത്‌

  12. كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحٖ وَعَادٞ وَفِرۡعَوۡنُ ذُو ٱلۡأَوۡتَادِ

    12

    The people of Noah denied before them, and [the tribe of] 'Aad and Pharaoh, the owner of stakes

    അവര്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പ് നൂഹിന്‍റെ ജനതയും, ആദ് സമുദായവും, ആണികളുറപ്പിച്ചിരുന്ന ഫിര്‍ഔനും നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളിയിട്ടുണ്ട്‌

  13. وَثَمُودُ وَقَوۡمُ لُوطٖ وَأَصۡحَٰبُ لۡـَٔيۡكَةِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ

    13

    And [the tribe of] Thamud and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies

    ഥമൂദ് സമുദായവും, ലൂത്വിന്‍റെ ജനതയും, മരക്കൂട്ടങ്ങളില്‍ വസിച്ചിരുന്നവരും (സത്യത്തെ നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളിയിട്ടുണ്ട്‌.) അക്കൂട്ടരത്രെ (സത്യത്തിനെതിരില്‍ അണിനിരന്ന) കക്ഷികള്‍

  14. إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ

    14

    Each of them denied the messengers, so My penalty was justified

    ഇവരാരും തന്നെ ദൂതന്‍മാരെ നിഷേധിച്ചു കളയാതിരുന്നിട്ടില്ല. അങ്ങനെ എന്‍റെ ശിക്ഷ (അവരില്‍) അനിവാര്യമായിത്തീര്‍ന്നു

  15. وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيۡحَةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٖ

    15

    And these [disbelievers] await not but one blast [of the Horn]; for it there will be no delay

    ഒരൊറ്റ ഘോരശബ്ദമല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നും ഇക്കൂട്ടര്‍ നോക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നില്ല. (അതു സംഭവിച്ചു കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍) ഒട്ടും സാവകാശമുണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയില്ല

  16. وَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبۡلَ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ

    16

    And they say, "Our Lord, hasten for us our share [of the punishment] before the Day of Account

    അവര്‍ പറയുന്നു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, വിചാരണയുടെ ദിവസത്തിനു മുമ്പ് തന്നെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ള (ശിക്ഷയുടെ) വിഹിതം ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊന്നു വേഗത്തിലാക്കിതന്നേക്കണേ എന്ന്‌

  17. ٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلۡأَيۡدِۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ

    17

    Be patient over what they say and remember Our servant, David, the possessor of strength; indeed, he was one who repeatedly turned back [to Allah]

    (നബിയേ,) അവര്‍ പറയുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി നീ ക്ഷമിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക. നമ്മുടെ കൈയ്യൂക്കുള്ള ദാസനായ ദാവൂദിനെ നീ അനുസ്മരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹം (ദൈവത്തിങ്കലേക്ക്‌) ഏറ്റവും അധികം ഖേദിച്ചുമടങ്ങിയവനാകുന്നു

  18. إِنَّا سَخَّرۡنَا ٱلۡجِبَالَ مَعَهُۥ يُسَبِّحۡنَ بِٱلۡعَشِيِّ وَٱلۡإِشۡرَاقِ

    18

    Indeed, We subjected the mountains [to praise] with him, exalting [Allah] in the [late] afternoon and [after] sunrise

    സന്ധ്യാസമയത്തും, സൂര്യോദയ സമയത്തും സ്തോത്രകീര്‍ത്തനം നടത്തുന്ന നിലയില്‍ നാം പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങളെ അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പം കീഴ്പെടുത്തുക തന്നെ ചെയ്തു

  19. وَٱلطَّيۡرَ مَحۡشُورَةٗۖ كُلّٞ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٞ

    19

    And the birds were assembled, all with him repeating [praises]

    ശേഖരിക്കപ്പെട്ട നിലയില്‍ പറവകളെയും (നാം കീഴ്പെടുത്തി.) എല്ലാം തന്നെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിങ്കലേക്ക് ഏറ്റവും അധികം വിനയത്തോടെ തിരിഞ്ഞവയായിരുന്നു

  20. وَشَدَدۡنَا مُلۡكَهُۥ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَفَصۡلَ ٱلۡخِطَابِ

    20

    And We strengthened his kingdom and gave him wisdom and discernment in speech

    അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ആധിപത്യം നാം സുശക്തമാക്കുകയും, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നാം തത്വജ്ഞാനവും തീര്‍പ്പുകല്‍പിക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ട സംസാരവൈഭവവും നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്തു

  21. ۞وَهَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ نَبَؤُاْ ٱلۡخَصۡمِ إِذۡ تَسَوَّرُواْ ٱلۡمِحۡرَابَ

    21

    And has there come to you the news of the adversaries, when they climbed over the wall of [his] prayer chamber

    വഴക്ക് കൂടുന്ന കക്ഷികള്‍ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനാമണ്ഡപത്തിന്‍റെ മതില്‍ കയറിച്ചെന്ന സമയത്തെ വര്‍ത്തമാനം നിനക്ക് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടോ

  22. إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنۡهُمۡۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡۖ خَصۡمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعۡضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تُشۡطِطۡ وَٱهۡدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ

    22

    When they entered upon David and he was alarmed by them? They said, "Fear not. [We are] two adversaries, one of whom has wronged the other, so judge between us with truth and do not exceed [it] and guide us to the sound path

    അവര്‍ ദാവൂദിന്‍റെ അടുത്ത് കടന്നു ചെല്ലുകയും, അദ്ദേഹം അവരെപ്പറ്റി പരിഭ്രാന്തനാകുകയും ചെയ്ത സന്ദര്‍ഭം! അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. താങ്കള്‍ ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട. ഞങ്ങള്‍ രണ്ട് എതിര്‍ കക്ഷികളാകുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളില്‍ ഒരു കക്ഷി മറുകക്ഷിയോട് അന്യായം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ താങ്കള്‍ ന്യായപ്രകാരം വിധി കല്‍പിക്കണം. താങ്കള്‍ നീതികേട് കാണിക്കരുത്‌. ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നേരായ പാതയിലേക്ക് വഴി കാണിക്കണം

  23. إِنَّ هَٰذَآ أَخِي لَهُۥ تِسۡعٞ وَتِسۡعُونَ نَعۡجَةٗ وَلِيَ نَعۡجَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَقَالَ أَكۡفِلۡنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِي فِي ٱلۡخِطَابِ

    23

    Indeed this, my brother, has ninety-nine ewes, and I have one ewe; so he said, 'Entrust her to me,' and he overpowered me in speech

    ഇതാ, ഇവന്‍ എന്‍റെ സഹോദരനാകുന്നു. അവന്ന് തൊണ്ണൂറ്റി ഒമ്പതു പെണ്ണാടുകളുണ്ട്‌. എനിക്ക് ഒരു പെണ്ണാടും. എന്നിട്ട് അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു; അതിനെയും കൂടി എനിക്ക് ഏല്‍പിച്ചു തരണമെന്ന്‌. സംഭാഷണത്തില്‍ അവന്‍ എന്നെ തോല്‍പിച്ച് കളയുകയും ചെയ്തു

  24. قَالَ لَقَدۡ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعۡجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِۦۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبۡغِي بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ وَقَلِيلٞ مَّا هُمۡۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّـٰهُ فَٱسۡتَغۡفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّۤ رَاكِعٗاۤ وَأَنَابَ۩

    24

    [David] said, "He has certainly wronged you in demanding your ewe [in addition] to his ewes. And indeed, many associates oppress one another, except for those who believe and do righteous deeds - and few are they." And David became certain that We had tried him, and he asked forgiveness of his Lord and fell down bowing [in prostration] and turned in repentance [to Allah]

    അദ്ദേഹം (ദാവൂദ്‌) പറഞ്ഞു: തന്‍റെ പെണ്ണാടുകളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലേക്ക് നിന്‍റെ പെണ്ണാടിനെ കൂടി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടതു മുഖേന അവന്‍ നിന്നോട് അനീതി കാണിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും പങ്കാളികളില്‍ (കൂട്ടുകാരില്‍) പലരും പരസ്പരം അതിക്രമം കാണിക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്‌. വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും സല്‍കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരൊഴികെ. വളരെ കുറച്ച് പേരേയുള്ളു അത്തരക്കാര്‍. ദാവൂദ് വിചാരിച്ചു; നാം അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പരീക്ഷിക്കുക തന്നെയാണ് ചെയ്തതെന്ന്‌. തുടര്‍ന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനോട് പാപമോചനം തേടുകയും അദ്ദേഹം കുമ്പിട്ടു കൊണ്ട് വീഴുകയും ഖേദിച്ചുമടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു

  25. فَغَفَرۡنَا لَهُۥ ذَٰلِكَۖ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلۡفَىٰ وَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ

    25

    So We forgave him that; and indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return

    അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നാം അത് പൊറുത്തുകൊടുത്തു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ സാമീപ്യവും മടങ്ങിവരാന്‍ ഉത്തമമായ സ്ഥാനവുമുണ്ട്‌

  26. يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةٗ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ شَدِيدُۢ بِمَا نَسُواْ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحِسَابِ

    26

    [We said], "O David, indeed We have made you a successor upon the earth, so judge between the people in truth and do not follow [your own] desire, as it will lead you astray from the way of Allah." Indeed, those who go astray from the way of Allah will have a severe punishment for having forgotten the Day of Account

    (അല്ലാഹു പറഞ്ഞു:) ഹേ; ദാവൂദ്‌, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്നെ നാം ഭൂമിയില്‍ ഒരു പ്രതിനിധിയാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകയാല്‍ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ ന്യായപ്രകാരം നീ വിധികല്‍പിക്കുക. തന്നിഷ്ടത്തെ നീ പിന്തുടര്‍ന്നു പോകരുത്‌. കാരണം അത് അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് നിന്നെ തെറ്റിച്ചുകളയും. അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് തെറ്റിപ്പോകുന്നവരാരോ അവര്‍ക്ക് തന്നെയാകുന്നു കഠിനമായ ശിക്ഷയുള്ളത്‌. കണക്കുനോക്കുന്ന ദിവസത്തെ അവര്‍ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞതിന്‍റെ ഫലമത്രെ അത്‌

  27. وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا بَٰطِلٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۚ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ

    27

    And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them aimlessly. That is the assumption of those who disbelieve, so woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire

    ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും അവയ്ക്കിടയിലുള്ളതും നാം നിരര്‍ത്ഥകമായി സൃഷ്ടിച്ചതല്ല. സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ ധാരണയത്രെ അത്‌. ആകയാല്‍ സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ക്ക് നരകശിക്ഷയാല്‍ മഹാനാശം

  28. أَمۡ نَجۡعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ كَٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَمۡ نَجۡعَلُ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلۡفُجَّارِ

    28

    Or should we treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like corrupters in the land? Or should We treat those who fear Allah like the wicked

    അതല്ല, വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും സല്‍കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരെ ഭൂമിയില്‍ കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നവരെ പോലെ നാം ആക്കുമോ? അതല്ല, ധര്‍മ്മനിഷ്ഠ പാലിക്കുന്നവരെ ദുഷ്ടന്‍മാരെ പോലെ നാം ആക്കുമോ

  29. كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَيۡكَ مُبَٰرَكٞ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓاْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ

    29

    [This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded

    നിനക്ക് നാം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചുതന്ന അനുഗൃഹീത ഗ്രന്ഥമത്രെ ഇത്‌. ഇതിലെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെപ്പറ്റി അവര്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചു നോക്കുന്നതിനും ബുദ്ധിമാന്‍മാര്‍ ഉല്‍ബുദ്ധരാകേണ്ടതിനും വേണ്ടി

  30. وَوَهَبۡنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيۡمَٰنَۚ نِعۡمَ ٱلۡعَبۡدُ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ

    30

    And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]

    ദാവൂദിന് നാം സുലൈമാനെ (പുത്രന്‍) പ്രദാനം ചെയ്തു. വളരെ നല്ല ദാസന്‍! തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹം (അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കലേക്ക്‌) ഏറ്റവും അധികം ഖേദിച്ചുമടങ്ങുന്നവനാകുന്നു

  31. إِذۡ عُرِضَ عَلَيۡهِ بِٱلۡعَشِيِّ ٱلصَّـٰفِنَٰتُ ٱلۡجِيَادُ

    31

    [Mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses

    കുതിച്ചോടാന്‍ തയ്യാറായി നില്‍ക്കുന്ന വിശിഷ്ടമായ കുതിരകള്‍ വൈകുന്നേരം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ മുമ്പില്‍ പ്രദര്‍ശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട സന്ദര്‍ഭം

  32. فَقَالَ إِنِّيٓ أَحۡبَبۡتُ حُبَّ ٱلۡخَيۡرِ عَن ذِكۡرِ رَبِّي حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتۡ بِٱلۡحِجَابِ

    32

    And he said, "Indeed, I gave preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until the sun disappeared into the curtain [of darkness]

    അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ സ്മരണയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് ഐശ്വര്യത്തെ ഞാന്‍ സ്നേഹിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്‌. അങ്ങനെ അവ (കുതിരകള്‍) മറവില്‍ പോയി മറഞ്ഞു

  33. رُدُّوهَا عَلَيَّۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسۡحَۢا بِٱلسُّوقِ وَٱلۡأَعۡنَاقِ

    33

    [He said], "Return them to me," and set about striking [their] legs and necks

    (അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു:) നിങ്ങള്‍ അവയെ എന്‍റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് തിരിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് വരൂ. എന്നിട്ട് അദ്ദേഹം (അവയുടെ) കണങ്കാലുകളിലും കഴുത്തുകളിലും തടവാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി

  34. وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا سُلَيۡمَٰنَ وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا عَلَىٰ كُرۡسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدٗا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ

    34

    And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned

    സുലൈമാനെ നാം പരീക്ഷിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്‍മേല്‍ നാം ഒരു ജഡത്തെ ഇടുകയും ചെയ്തു. പിന്നീട് അദ്ദേഹം താഴ്മയുള്ളവനായി മടങ്ങി

  35. قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ لِي وَهَبۡ لِي مُلۡكٗا لَّا يَنۢبَغِي لِأَحَدٖ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِيٓۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡوَهَّابُ

    35

    He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ എനിക്ക് പൊറുത്തുതരികയും എനിക്ക് ശേഷം ഒരാള്‍ക്കും തരപ്പെടാത്ത ഒരു രാജവാഴ്ച നീ എനിക്ക് പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നീ തന്നെയാണ് ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ദാനശീലന്‍

  36. فَسَخَّرۡنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجۡرِي بِأَمۡرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيۡثُ أَصَابَ

    36

    So We subjected to him the wind blowing by his command, gently, wherever he directed

    അപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് കാറ്റിനെ നാം കീഴ്പെടുത്തികൊടുത്തു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ കല്‍പന പ്രകാരം അദ്ദേഹം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കിയേടത്തേക്ക് സൌമ്യമായ നിലയില്‍ അത് സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു

  37. وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٖ وَغَوَّاصٖ

    37

    And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver

    എല്ലാ കെട്ടിടനിര്‍മാണ വിദഗ്ദ്ധരും മുങ്ങല്‍ വിദഗ്ദ്ധരുമായ പിശാചുക്കളെയും (അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്നു കീഴ്പെടുത്തികൊടുത്തു)

  38. وَءَاخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَصۡفَادِ

    38

    And others bound together in shackles

    ചങ്ങലകളില്‍ ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ട മറ്റു ചിലരെ (പിശാചുക്കളെ)യും (അധീനപ്പെടുത്തികൊടുത്തു)

  39. هَٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمۡنُنۡ أَوۡ أَمۡسِكۡ بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٖ

    39

    [We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account

    ഇത് നമ്മുടെ ദാനമാകുന്നു. ആകയാല്‍ നീ ഔദാര്യം ചെയ്യുകയോ കൈവശം വെച്ച് കൊള്ളുകയോ ചെയ്യുക. കണക്കു ചോദിക്കല്‍ ഉണ്ടാവില്ല. (എന്ന് നാം സുലൈമാനോട് പറയുകയും ചെയ്തു)

  40. وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلۡفَىٰ وَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ

    40

    And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ സാമീപ്യമുണ്ട്‌. മടങ്ങിയെത്താന്‍ ഉത്തമമായ സ്ഥാനവും

  41. وَٱذۡكُرۡ عَبۡدَنَآ أَيُّوبَ إِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ بِنُصۡبٖ وَعَذَابٍ

    41

    And remember Our servant Job, when he called to his Lord, "Indeed, Satan has touched me with hardship and torment

    നമ്മുടെ ദാസനായ അയ്യൂബിനെ ഓര്‍മിക്കുക. പിശാച് എനിക്ക് അവശതയും പീഡനവും ഏല്‍പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ വിളിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്‍ഭം

  42. ٱرۡكُضۡ بِرِجۡلِكَۖ هَٰذَا مُغۡتَسَلُۢ بَارِدٞ وَشَرَابٞ

    42

    [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink

    (നാം നിര്‍ദേശിച്ചു:) നിന്‍റെ കാലുകൊണ്ട് നീ ചവിട്ടുക, ഇതാ! തണുത്ത സ്നാനജലവും കുടിനീരും

  43. وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهۡلَهُۥ وَمِثۡلَهُم مَّعَهُمۡ رَحۡمَةٗ مِّنَّا وَذِكۡرَىٰ لِأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ

    43

    And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding

    അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ സ്വന്തക്കാരെയും അവരോടൊപ്പം അവരുടെ അത്ര ആളുകളെയും നാം പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്തു. നമ്മുടെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള കാരുണ്യവും ബുദ്ധിമാന്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് ഒരു ഉല്‍ബോധനവുമെന്ന നിലയില്‍

  44. وَخُذۡ بِيَدِكَ ضِغۡثٗا فَٱضۡرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحۡنَثۡۗ إِنَّا وَجَدۡنَٰهُ صَابِرٗاۚ نِّعۡمَ ٱلۡعَبۡدُ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٞ

    44

    [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]

    ഒരു പിടി പുല്ല് നിന്‍റെ കൈയില്‍ എടുക്കുക. എന്നിട്ട് അതു കൊണ്ട് നീ അടിക്കുകയും ശപഥം ലംഘിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നാം ക്ഷമാശീലനായി കണ്ടു. വളരെ നല്ല ദാസന്‍! തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹം ഏറെ ഖേദിച്ചുമടങ്ങുന്നവനാകുന്നു

  45. وَٱذۡكُرۡ عِبَٰدَنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَ أُوْلِي ٱلۡأَيۡدِي وَٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرِ

    45

    And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision

    കൈക്കരുത്തും കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുകളും ഉള്ളവരായിരുന്ന നമ്മുടെ ദാസന്‍മാരായ ഇബ്രാഹീം, ഇഷാഖ്‌, യഅ്ഖൂബ് എന്നിവരെയും ഓര്‍ക്കുക

  46. إِنَّآ أَخۡلَصۡنَٰهُم بِخَالِصَةٖ ذِكۡرَى ٱلدَّارِ

    46

    Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]

    നിഷ്കളങ്കമായ ഒരു വിചാരം കൊണ്ട് നാം അവരെ ഉല്‍കൃഷ്ടരാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. പരലോക സ്മരണയത്രെ അത്‌

  47. وَإِنَّهُمۡ عِندَنَا لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُصۡطَفَيۡنَ ٱلۡأَخۡيَارِ

    47

    And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ഉത്തമന്‍മാരില്‍ പെട്ടവരാകുന്നു

  48. وَٱذۡكُرۡ إِسۡمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلۡيَسَعَ وَذَا ٱلۡكِفۡلِۖ وَكُلّٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَخۡيَارِ

    48

    And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding

    ഇസ്മാഈല്‍, അല്‍യസഅ്‌, ദുല്‍കിഫ്ല് എന്നിവരെയും ഓര്‍ക്കുക. അവരെല്ലാവരും ഉത്തമന്‍മാരില്‍ പെട്ടവരാകുന്നു

  49. هَٰذَا ذِكۡرٞۚ وَإِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسۡنَ مَـَٔابٖ

    49

    This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return

    ഇതൊരു ഉല്‍ബോധനമത്രെ. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും സൂക്ഷ്മതയുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് മടങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലാന്‍ ഉത്തമമായ സ്ഥാനമുണ്ട്‌

  50. جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنٖ مُّفَتَّحَةٗ لَّهُمُ ٱلۡأَبۡوَٰبُ

    50

    Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them

    അവര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി കവാടങ്ങള്‍ തുറന്നുവെച്ചിട്ടുള്ള സ്ഥിരവാസത്തിന്‍റെ സ്വര്‍ഗത്തോപ്പുകള്‍

  51. مُتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا يَدۡعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَٰكِهَةٖ كَثِيرَةٖ وَشَرَابٖ

    51

    Reclining within them, they will call therein for abundant fruit and drink

    അവര്‍ അവിടെ ചാരി ഇരുന്നു വിശ്രമിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് സമൃദ്ധമായുള്ള ഫലവര്‍ഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കും പാനീയത്തിനും ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും

  52. ۞وَعِندَهُمۡ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرۡفِ أَتۡرَابٌ

    52

    And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age

    അവരുടെ അടുത്ത് ദൃഷ്ടി നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്ന സമവയസ്ക്കരായ സ്ത്രീകളുണ്ടായിരിക്കും

  53. هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡحِسَابِ

    53

    This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account

    ഇതത്രെ വിചാരണയുടെ ദിവസത്തേക്ക് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വാഗ്ദാനം നല്‍കപ്പെടുന്നത്‌

  54. إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزۡقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ

    54

    Indeed, this is Our provision; for it there is no depletion

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇത് നാം നല്‍കുന്ന ഉപജീവനമാകുന്നു. അത് തീര്‍ന്നു പോകുന്നതല്ല

  55. هَٰذَاۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطَّـٰغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَـَٔابٖ

    55

    This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return

    ഇതത്രെ (അവരുടെ അവസ്ഥ). തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ധിക്കാരികള്‍ക്ക് മടങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലാന്‍ മോശപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥാനമാണുള്ളത്‌

  56. جَهَنَّمَ يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ

    56

    Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place

    നരകമത്രെ അത്‌. അവര്‍ അതില്‍ കത്തിഎരിയും. അതെത്ര മോശമായ വിശ്രമസ്ഥാനം

  57. هَٰذَا فَلۡيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٞ وَغَسَّاقٞ

    57

    This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence

    ഇതാണവര്‍ക്കുള്ളത്‌. ആകയാല്‍ അവര്‍ അത് ആസ്വദിച്ചു കൊള്ളട്ടെ. കൊടും ചൂടുള്ള വെള്ളവും കൊടും തണുപ്പുള്ള വെള്ളവും

  58. وَءَاخَرُ مِن شَكۡلِهِۦٓ أَزۡوَٰجٌ

    58

    And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds

    ഇത്തരത്തില്‍പ്പെട്ട മറ്റു പല ഇനം ശിക്ഷകളും

  59. هَٰذَا فَوۡجٞ مُّقۡتَحِمٞ مَّعَكُمۡ لَا مَرۡحَبَۢا بِهِمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ صَالُواْ ٱلنَّارِ

    59

    [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire

    (നരകത്തില്‍ ആദ്യമെത്തിയവരോട് അല്ലാഹു പറയും:) ഇതാ, ഒരുകൂട്ടം നിങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം തള്ളിക്കയറി വരുന്നു. (അപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ പറയും:) അവര്‍ക്ക് സ്വാഗതമില്ല. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ നരകത്തില്‍ കത്തിഎരിയുന്നവരത്രെ

  60. قَالُواْ بَلۡ أَنتُمۡ لَا مَرۡحَبَۢا بِكُمۡۖ أَنتُمۡ قَدَّمۡتُمُوهُ لَنَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرَارُ

    60

    They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement

    അവര്‍ (ആ കടന്ന് വരുന്നവര്‍) പറയും; അല്ല, നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് തന്നെയാണ് സ്വാഗതമില്ലാത്തത്‌. നിങ്ങളാണ് ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കിത് വരുത്തിവെച്ചത്‌. അപ്പോള്‍ വാസസ്ഥലം ചീത്ത തന്നെ

  61. قَالُواْ رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَٰذَا فَزِدۡهُ عَذَابٗا ضِعۡفٗا فِي ٱلنَّارِ

    61

    They will say, "Our Lord, whoever brought this upon us - increase for him double punishment in the Fire

    അവര്‍ പറയും: ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇത് (ശിക്ഷ) വരുത്തിവെച്ചതാരോ അവന്ന് നീ നരകത്തില്‍ ഇരട്ടി ശിക്ഷ വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു കൊടുക്കേണമേ

  62. وَقَالُواْ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالٗا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَشۡرَارِ

    62

    And they will say, "Why do we not see men whom we used to count among the worst

    അവര്‍ പറയും: നമുക്കെന്തു പറ്റി! ദുര്‍ജനങ്ങളില്‍ പെട്ടവരായി നാം ഗണിച്ചിരുന്ന പല ആളുകളെയും നാം കാണുന്നില്ലല്ലോ

  63. أَتَّخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ سِخۡرِيًّا أَمۡ زَاغَتۡ عَنۡهُمُ ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ

    63

    Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them

    നാം അവരെ (അബദ്ധത്തില്‍) പരിഹാസപാത്രമാക്കിയതാണോ? അതല്ല, അവരെയും വിട്ട് കണ്ണുകള്‍ തെന്നിപ്പോയതാണോ

  64. إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقّٞ تَخَاصُمُ أَهۡلِ ٱلنَّارِ

    64

    Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire

    നരകവാസികള്‍ തമ്മിലുള്ള വഴക്ക്‌- തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതൊരു യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യം തന്നെയാണ്‌

  65. قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٞۖ وَمَا مِنۡ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّارُ

    65

    Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing

    (നബിയേ,) പറയുക: ഞാനൊരു മുന്നറിയിപ്പുകാരന്‍ മാത്രമാണ്‌. ഏകനും സര്‍വ്വാധിപതിയുമായ അല്ലാഹുവല്ലാതെ യാതൊരു ദൈവവുമില്ല

  66. رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡغَفَّـٰرُ

    66

    Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver

    ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും അവയ്ക്കിടയിലുള്ളതിന്‍റെയും രക്ഷിതാവും പ്രതാപശാലിയും ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനുമത്രെ അവന്‍

  67. قُلۡ هُوَ نَبَؤٌاْ عَظِيمٌ

    67

    Say, "It is great news

    പറയുക: അത് ഒരു ഗൌരവമുള്ള വര്‍ത്തമാനമാകുന്നു

  68. أَنتُمۡ عَنۡهُ مُعۡرِضُونَ

    68

    From which you turn away

    നിങ്ങള്‍ അത് അവഗണിച്ചു കളയുന്നവരാകുന്നു

  69. مَا كَانَ لِيَ مِنۡ عِلۡمِۭ بِٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰٓ إِذۡ يَخۡتَصِمُونَ

    69

    I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]

    അത്യുന്നത സമൂഹം വിവാദം നടത്തിയിരുന്ന സന്ദര്‍ഭത്തെപ്പറ്റി എനിക്ക് യാതൊരു അറിവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല

  70. إِن يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَيَّ إِلَّآ أَنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٞ مُّبِينٌ

    70

    It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner

    ഞാനൊരു സ്പഷ്ടമായ താക്കീതുകാരനായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് മാത്രമാണ് എനിക്ക് സന്ദേശം നല്‍കപ്പെടുന്നത്‌

  71. إِذۡ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّي خَٰلِقُۢ بَشَرٗا مِّن طِينٖ

    71

    [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay

    നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് മലക്കുകളോട് പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്‍ഭം: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ കളിമണ്ണില്‍ നിന്നും ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കാന്‍ പോകുകയാണ്‌

  72. فَإِذَا سَوَّيۡتُهُۥ وَنَفَخۡتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِي فَقَعُواْ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ

    72

    So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration

    അങ്ങനെ ഞാന്‍ അവനെ സംവിധാനിക്കുകയും, അവനില്‍ എന്‍റെ ആത്മാവില്‍ നിന്ന് ഞാന്‍ ഊതുകയും ചെയ്താല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അവന്ന് പ്രണാമം ചെയ്യുന്നവരായി വീഴണം

  73. فَسَجَدَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعُونَ

    73

    So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely

    അപ്പോള്‍ മലക്കുകള്‍ എല്ലാവരും ഒന്നടങ്കം പ്രണാമം ചെയ്തു

  74. إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

    74

    Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers

    ഇബ്ലീസ് ഒഴികെ. അവന്‍ അഹങ്കരിക്കുകയും സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാകുകയും ചെയ്തു

  75. قَالَ يَـٰٓإِبۡلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسۡجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقۡتُ بِيَدَيَّۖ أَسۡتَكۡبَرۡتَ أَمۡ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡعَالِينَ

    75

    [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty

    അവന്‍ (അല്ലാഹു) പറഞ്ഞു: ഇബ്ലീസേ, എന്‍റെ കൈകൊണ്ട് ഞാന്‍ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയതിനെ നീ പ്രണമിക്കുന്നതിന് നിനക്കെന്ത് തടസ്സമാണുണ്ടായത്‌? നീ അഹങ്കരിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണോ, അതല്ല നീ പൊങ്ങച്ചക്കാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ പെട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണോ

  76. قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡهُ خَلَقۡتَنِي مِن نَّارٖ وَخَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن طِينٖ

    76

    He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay

    അവന്‍ (ഇബ്ലീസ്‌) പറഞ്ഞു: ഞാന്‍ അവനെ (മനുഷ്യനെ)ക്കാള്‍ ഉത്തമനാകുന്നു. എന്നെ നീ അഗ്നിയില്‍ നിന്ന് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു. അവനെ നീ കളിമണ്ണില്‍ നിന്നും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു

  77. قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٞ

    77

    [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled

    അവന്‍ (അല്ലാഹു) പറഞ്ഞു: എന്നാല്‍ നീ ഇവിടെ നിന്ന് പുറത്ത് പോകണം. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നീ ആട്ടിയകറ്റപ്പെട്ടവനാകുന്നു

  78. وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكَ لَعۡنَتِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِ

    78

    And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ന്യായവിധിയുടെ നാള്‍ വരെയും നിന്‍റെ മേല്‍ എന്‍റെ ശാപം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌

  79. قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرۡنِيٓ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ يُبۡعَثُونَ

    79

    He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected

    അവന്‍ (ഇബ്ലീസ്‌) പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, എന്നാല്‍ അവര്‍ ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ദിവസം വരെ നീ എനിക്ക് അവധി അനുവദിച്ചു തരേണമേ

  80. قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنظَرِينَ

    80

    [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved

    (അല്ലാഹു) പറഞ്ഞു: എന്നാല്‍ നീ അവധി അനുവദിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു

  81. إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡوَقۡتِ ٱلۡمَعۡلُومِ

    81

    Until the Day of the time well-known

    നിശ്ചിതമായ ആ സമയം സമാഗതമാകുന്ന ദിവസം വരെ

  82. قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغۡوِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

    82

    [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all

    അവന്‍ (ഇബ്ലീസ്‌) പറഞ്ഞു: നിന്‍റെ പ്രതാപമാണ സത്യം; അവരെ മുഴുവന്‍ ഞാന്‍ വഴിതെറ്റിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും

  83. إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ

    83

    Except, among them, Your chosen servants

    അവരില്‍ നിന്‍റെ നിഷ്കളങ്കരായ ദാസന്‍മാരൊഴികെ

  84. قَالَ فَٱلۡحَقُّ وَٱلۡحَقَّ أَقُولُ

    84

    [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say

    അവന്‍ (അല്ലാഹു) പറഞ്ഞു: അപ്പോള്‍ സത്യം ഇതത്രെ- സത്യമേ ഞാന്‍ പറയുകയുള്ളൂ

  85. لَأَمۡلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنۡهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ

    85

    [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together

    നിന്നെയും അവരില്‍ നിന്ന് നിന്നെ പിന്തുടര്‍ന്ന മുഴുവന്‍ പേരെയും കൊണ്ട് ഞാന്‍ നരകം നിറക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും

  86. قُلۡ مَآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٖ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُتَكَلِّفِينَ

    86

    Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious

    (നബിയേ,) പറയുക: ഇതിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ നിങ്ങളോട് ഞാന്‍ യാതൊരു പ്രതിഫലവും ചോദിക്കുന്നില്ല. ഞാന്‍ കൃത്രിമം കെട്ടിച്ചമയ്ക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലുമല്ല

  87. إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    87

    It is but a reminder to the worlds

    ഇത് ലോകര്‍ക്കുള്ള ഒരു ഉല്‍ബോധനം മാത്രമാകുന്നു

  88. وَلَتَعۡلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُۥ بَعۡدَ حِينِۭ

    88

    And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time

    ഒരു കാലയളവിനു ശേഷം ഇതിലെ വൃത്താന്തം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മനസ്സിലാവുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും
