الزمر

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. تَنزِيلُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَكِيمِ

   ✦1

   The revelation of the Qur'an is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise

   ഈ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന്‍റെ അവതരണം പ്രതാപിയും യുക്തിമാനുമായ അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്നാകുന്നു

2. إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَٱعۡبُدِ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصٗا لَّهُ ٱلدِّينَ

   ✦2

   Indeed, We have sent down to you the Book, [O Muhammad], in truth. So worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion

   തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിനക്ക് നാം ഈ ഗ്രന്ഥം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു തന്നത് സത്യപ്രകാരമാകുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ കീഴ്‌വണക്കം അല്ലാഹുവിന് നിഷ്കളങ്കമാക്കികൊണ്ട് അവനെ നീ ആരാധിക്കുക

3. أَلَا لِلَّهِ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلۡخَالِصُۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوۡلِيَآءَ مَا نَعۡبُدُهُمۡ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ زُلۡفَىٰٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَهُمۡ فِي مَا هُمۡ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي مَنۡ هُوَ كَٰذِبٞ كَفَّارٞ

   ✦3

   Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever

   അറിയുക: അല്ലാഹുവിന് മാത്രം അവകാശപ്പെട്ടതാകുന്നു നിഷ്കളങ്കമായ കീഴ്‌വണക്കം. അവന്നു പുറമെ രക്ഷാധികാരികളെ സ്വീകരിച്ചവര്‍ (പറയുന്നു:) അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കലേക്ക് ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് കൂടുതല്‍ അടുപ്പമുണ്ടാക്കിത്തരാന്‍ വേണ്ടിമാത്രമാകുന്നു ഞങ്ങള്‍ അവരെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നത്‌. അവര്‍ ഏതൊരു കാര്യത്തില്‍ ഭിന്നത പുലര്‍ത്തുന്നുവോ അതില്‍ അല്ലാഹു അവര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ വിധികല്‍പിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും. നുണയനും നന്ദികെട്ടവനുമായിട്ടുള്ളവനാരോ അവനെ അല്ലാഹു നേര്‍വഴിയിലാക്കുകയില്ല; തീര്‍ച്ച

4. لَّوۡ أَرَادَ ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدٗا لَّٱصۡطَفَىٰ مِمَّا يَخۡلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥۖ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّارُ

   ✦4

   If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates whatever He willed. Exalted is He; He is Allah, the One, the Prevailing

   ഒരു സന്താനത്തെ സ്വീകരിക്കണമെന്ന് അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ അവന്‍ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതില്‍ നിന്ന് അവന്‍ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നത് അവന്‍ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുമായിരുന്നു. അവന്‍ എത്ര പരിശുദ്ധന്‍! ഏകനും സര്‍വ്വാധിപതിയുമായ അല്ലാഹുവത്രെ അവന്‍

5. خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ يُكَوِّرُ ٱلَّيۡلَ عَلَى ٱلنَّهَارِ وَيُكَوِّرُ ٱلنَّهَارَ عَلَى ٱلَّيۡلِۖ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَۖ كُلّٞ يَجۡرِي لِأَجَلٖ مُّسَمًّىۗ أَلَا هُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡغَفَّـٰرُ

   ✦5

   He created the heavens and earth in truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver

   ആകാശങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയും അവന്‍ യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യപൂര്‍വ്വം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. രാത്രിയെ ക്കൊണ്ട് അവന്‍ പകലിന്‍മേല്‍ ചുറ്റിപ്പൊതിയുന്നു. പകലിനെക്കൊണ്ട് അവന്‍ രാത്രിമേലും ചുറ്റിപ്പൊതിയുന്നു. സൂര്യനെയും ചന്ദ്രനെയും അവന്‍ നിയന്ത്രണവിധേയമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. എല്ലാം നിശ്ചിതമായ പരിധിവരെ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു. അറിയുക: അവനത്രെ പ്രതാപിയും ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും

6. خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفۡسٖ وَٰحِدَةٖ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنۡهَا زَوۡجَهَا وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ ثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَزۡوَٰجٖۚ يَخۡلُقُكُمۡ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡ خَلۡقٗا مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ خَلۡقٖ فِي ظُلُمَٰتٖ ثَلَٰثٖۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡ لَهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُصۡرَفُونَ

   ✦6

   He created you from one soul. Then He made from it its mate, and He produced for you from the grazing livestock eight mates. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknesses. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs dominion. There is no deity except Him, so how are you averted

   ഒരൊറ്റ അസ്തിത്വത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് അവന്‍ നിങ്ങളെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു. പിന്നീട് അതില്‍ നിന്ന് അതിന്‍റെ ഇണയെയും അവന്‍ ഉണ്ടാക്കി. കന്നുകാലികളില്‍ നിന്ന് എട്ടു ജോഡികളെയും അവന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഇറക്കിതന്നു. നിങ്ങളുടെ മാതാക്കളുടെ വയറുകളില്‍ നിങ്ങളെ അവന്‍ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു. മൂന്ന് തരം അന്ധകാരങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ളില്‍ സൃഷ്ടിയുടെ ഒരു ഘട്ടത്തിന് ശേഷം മറ്റൊരു ഘട്ടമായിക്കൊണ്ട്‌. അങ്ങനെയുള്ളവനാകുന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവായ അല്ലാഹു. അവന്നാണ് ആധിപത്യം. അവനല്ലാതെ യാതൊരു ദൈവവുമില്ല. എന്നിരിക്കെ നിങ്ങള്‍ എങ്ങനെയാണ് (സത്യത്തില്‍ നിന്ന്‌) തെറ്റിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്‌

7. إِن تَكۡفُرُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنكُمۡۖ وَلَا يَرۡضَىٰ لِعِبَادِهِ ٱلۡكُفۡرَۖ وَإِن تَشۡكُرُواْ يَرۡضَهُ لَكُمۡۗ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرۡجِعُكُمۡ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمُۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ

   ✦7

   If you disbelieve - indeed, Allah is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts

   നിങ്ങള്‍ നന്ദികേട് കാണിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങളുടെ ആശ്രയത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് മുക്തനാകുന്നു. തന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാര്‍ നന്ദികേട് കാണിക്കുന്നത് അവന്‍ തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുകയില്ല. നിങ്ങള്‍ നന്ദികാണിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം നിങ്ങളോട് അത് വഴി അവന്‍ സംതൃപ്തനായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. പാപഭാരം വഹിക്കുന്ന യാതൊരാളും മറ്റൊരാളുടെ ഭാരം വഹിക്കുകയില്ല. പിന്നീട് നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്കാകുന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ മടക്കം. നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിരുന്നതിനെ പറ്റി അപ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ നിങ്ങളെ വിവരം അറിയിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിലുള്ളതിനെ പറ്റി അറിവുള്ളവനാകുന്നു

8. ۞وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ ضُرّٞ دَعَا رَبَّهُۥ مُنِيبًا إِلَيۡهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُۥ نِعۡمَةٗ مِّنۡهُ نَسِيَ مَا كَانَ يَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَيۡهِ مِن قَبۡلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادٗا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۚ قُلۡ تَمَتَّعۡ بِكُفۡرِكَ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ

   ✦8

   And when adversity touches man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him [alone]; then when He bestows on him a favor from Himself, he forgets Him whom he called upon before, and he attributes to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy your disbelief for a little; indeed, you are of the companions of the Fire

   മനുഷ്യന് വല്ല വിഷമവും ബാധിച്ചാല്‍ അവന്‍ തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്ക് താഴ്മയോടെ മടങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ട് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കും. എന്നിട്ട് തന്‍റെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള വല്ല അനുഗ്രഹവും അല്ലാഹു അവന്ന് പ്രദാനം ചെയ്താല്‍ ഏതൊന്നിനായി അവന്‍ മുമ്പ് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചിരുന്നുവോ അതവന്‍ മറന്നുപോകുന്നു. അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് വഴിതെറ്റിച്ച് കളയുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി അവന്ന് സമന്‍മാരെ സ്ഥാപിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. (നബിയേ,) പറയുക: നീ അല്‍പകാലം നിന്‍റെ ഈ സത്യനിഷേധവും കൊണ്ട് സുഖിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നീ നരകാവകാശികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാകുന്നു

9. أَمَّنۡ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيۡلِ سَاجِدٗا وَقَآئِمٗا يَحۡذَرُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَيَرۡجُواْ رَحۡمَةَ رَبِّهِۦۗ قُلۡ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِي ٱلَّذِينَ يَعۡلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَۗ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ

   ✦9

   Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding

   അതല്ല, പരലോകത്തെ പറ്റി ജാഗ്രത പുലര്‍ത്തുകയും, തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ കാരുണ്യം ആശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ട് സാഷ്ടാംഗം ചെയ്തും, നിന്നു പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചും രാത്രി സമയങ്ങളില്‍ കീഴ്‌വണക്കം ചെയ്യുന്നവനോ (അതല്ല സത്യനിഷേധിയോ ഉത്തമന്‍?) പറയുക: അറിവുള്ളവരും അറിവില്ലാത്തവരും സമമാകുമോ? ബുദ്ധിമാന്‍മാര്‍ മാത്രമേ ആലോചിച്ചു മനസ്സിലാക്കുകയുള്ളൂ

10. قُلۡ يَٰعِبَادِ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱتَّقُواْ رَبَّكُمۡۚ لِلَّذِينَ أَحۡسَنُواْ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا حَسَنَةٞۗ وَأَرۡضُ ٱللَّهِ وَٰسِعَةٌۗ إِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى ٱلصَّـٰبِرُونَ أَجۡرَهُم بِغَيۡرِ حِسَابٖ

    ✦10

    Say, "O My servants who have believed, fear your Lord. For those who do good in this world is good, and the earth of Allah is spacious. Indeed, the patient will be given their reward without account

    പറയുക: വിശ്വസിച്ചവരായ എന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാരേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക. ഈ ഐഹികജീവിതത്തില്‍ നന്‍മ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചവര്‍ക്കാണ് സല്‍ഫലമുള്ളത്‌. അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ഭൂമിയാകട്ടെ വിശാലമാകുന്നു. ക്ഷമാശീലര്‍ക്കു തന്നെയാകുന്നു തങ്ങളുടെ പ്രതിഫലം കണക്കുനോക്കാതെ നിറവേറ്റികൊടുക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്‌

11. قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أُمِرۡتُ أَنۡ أَعۡبُدَ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصٗا لَّهُ ٱلدِّينَ

    ✦11

    Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion

    പറയുക: കീഴ്‌വണക്കം അല്ലാഹുവിന് നിഷ്കളങ്കമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് അവനെ ആരാധിക്കുവാനാണ് ഞാന്‍ കല്‍പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്‌

12. وَأُمِرۡتُ لِأَنۡ أَكُونَ أَوَّلَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ

    ✦12

    And I have been commanded to be the first [among you] of the Muslims

    ഞാന്‍ കീഴ്പെടുന്നവരില്‍ ഒന്നാമനായിരിക്കണമെന്നും എനിക്ക് കല്‍പന നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു

13. قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ إِنۡ عَصَيۡتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ

    ✦13

    Say, "Indeed I fear, if I should disobey my Lord, the punishment of a tremendous Day

    പറയുക: ഞാന്‍ എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ ധിക്കരിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം ഭയങ്കരമായ ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ ശിക്ഷ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ പേടിക്കുന്നു

14. قُلِ ٱللَّهَ أَعۡبُدُ مُخۡلِصٗا لَّهُۥ دِينِي

    ✦14

    Say, "Allah [alone] do I worship, sincere to Him in my religion

    പറയുക: അല്ലാഹുവെയാണ് ഞാന്‍ ആരാധിക്കുന്നത്‌. ; എന്‍റെ കീഴ്‌വണക്കം അവന്ന് നിഷ്കളങ്കമാക്കിക്കൊണ്ട്‌

15. فَٱعۡبُدُواْ مَا شِئۡتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦۗ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَأَهۡلِيهِمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۗ أَلَا ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخُسۡرَانُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

    ✦15

    So worship what you will besides Him." Say, "Indeed, the losers are the ones who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, that is the manifest loss

    എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അവന്നു പുറമെ നിങ്ങള്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചതിന് ആരാധന ചെയ്തുകൊള്ളുക. പറയുക: ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളില്‍ സ്വദേഹങ്ങള്‍ക്കും തങ്ങളുടെ ആളുകള്‍ക്കും നഷ്ടം വരുത്തിവെച്ചതാരോ അവരത്രെ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നഷ്ടക്കാര്‍. അതു തന്നെയാണ് വ്യക്തമായ നഷ്ടം

16. لَهُم مِّن فَوۡقِهِمۡ ظُلَلٞ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ وَمِن تَحۡتِهِمۡ ظُلَلٞۚ ذَٰلِكَ يُخَوِّفُ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦ عِبَادَهُۥۚ يَٰعِبَادِ فَٱتَّقُونِ

    ✦16

    They will have canopies of fire above them and below them, canopies. By that Allah threatens His servants. O My servants, then fear Me

    അവര്‍ക്ക് അവരുടെ മുകള്‍ ഭാഗത്ത് തിയ്യിന്‍റെ തട്ടുകളുണ്ട്‌. അവരുടെ കീഴ്ഭാഗത്തുമുണ്ട് തട്ടുകള്‍. അതിനെ പറ്റിയാകുന്നു അല്ലാഹു തന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാരെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്‌. ആകയാല്‍ എന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാരേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ എന്നെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുവിന്‍

17. وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱجۡتَنَبُواْ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَ أَن يَعۡبُدُوهَا وَأَنَابُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ لَهُمُ ٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰۚ فَبَشِّرۡ عِبَادِ

    ✦17

    But those who have avoided Taghut, lest they worship it, and turned back to Allah - for them are good tidings. So give good tidings to My servants

    ദുര്‍മൂര്‍ത്തിയെ -അതിനെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നത്‌- വര്‍ജ്ജിക്കുകയും, അല്ലാഹുവിലേക്ക് വിനയത്തോടെ മടങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തവരാരോ അവര്‍ക്കാണ് സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത. അതിനാല്‍ എന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് നീ സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത അറിയിക്കുക

18. ٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡتَمِعُونَ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ أَحۡسَنَهُۥٓۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمۡ أُوْلُواْ ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ

    ✦18

    Who listen to speech and follow the best of it. Those are the ones Allah has guided, and those are people of understanding

    അതായത് വാക്ക് ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു കേള്‍ക്കുകയും അതില്‍ ഏറ്റവും നല്ലത് പിന്‍പറ്റുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് .അക്കൂട്ടര്‍ക്കാകുന്നു അല്ലാഹു മാര്‍ഗദര്‍ശനം നല്‍കിയിട്ടുള്ളത്‌. അവര്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു ബുദ്ധിമാന്‍മാര്‍

19. أَفَمَنۡ حَقَّ عَلَيۡهِ كَلِمَةُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ أَفَأَنتَ تُنقِذُ مَن فِي ٱلنَّارِ

    ✦19

    Then, is one who has deserved the decree of punishment [to be guided]? Then, can you save one who is in the Fire

    അപ്പോള്‍ വല്ലവന്‍റെ കാര്യത്തിലും ശിക്ഷയുടെ വചനം സ്ഥിരപ്പെട്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിലും (അവനെ നിനക്ക് സഹായിക്കാനാകുമോ?) അപ്പോള്‍ നരകത്തിലുള്ളവനെ നിനക്ക് രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്താനാകുമോ

20. لَٰكِنِ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ رَبَّهُمۡ لَهُمۡ غُرَفٞ مِّن فَوۡقِهَا غُرَفٞ مَّبۡنِيَّةٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ وَعۡدَ ٱللَّهِ لَا يُخۡلِفُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمِيعَادَ

    ✦20

    But those who have feared their Lord - for them are chambers, above them chambers built high, beneath which rivers flow. [This is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in [His] promise

    പക്ഷെ, തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ സൂക്ഷിച്ച് ജീവിച്ചവരാരോ അവര്‍ക്കാണ് മേല്‍ക്കുമേല്‍ തട്ടുകളായി നിര്‍മിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ള മണിമേടകളുള്ളത്‌. അവയുടെ താഴ്ഭാഗത്തു കൂടി അരുവികള്‍ ഒഴുകികൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ വാഗ്ദാനമത്രെ അത്‌. അല്ലാഹു വാഗ്ദാനം ലംഘിക്കുകയില്ല

21. أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَسَلَكَهُۥ يَنَٰبِيعَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ يُخۡرِجُ بِهِۦ زَرۡعٗا مُّخۡتَلِفًا أَلۡوَٰنُهُۥ ثُمَّ يَهِيجُ فَتَرَىٰهُ مُصۡفَرّٗا ثُمَّ يَجۡعَلُهُۥ حُطَٰمًاۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَذِكۡرَىٰ لِأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ

    ✦21

    Do you not see that Allah sends down rain from the sky and makes it flow as springs [and rivers] in the earth; then He produces thereby crops of varying colors; then they dry and you see them turned yellow; then He makes them [scattered] debris. Indeed in that is a reminder for those of understanding

    നീ കണ്ടില്ലേ, അല്ലാഹു ആകാശത്തു നിന്ന് വെള്ളം ചൊരിഞ്ഞു. എന്നിട്ട് ഭൂമിയിലെ ഉറവിടങ്ങളില്‍ അതവന്‍ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. അനന്തരം അത് മുഖേന വ്യത്യസ്ത വര്‍ണങ്ങളിലുള്ള വിള അവന്‍ ഉല്‍പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. പിന്നെ അത് ഉണങ്ങിപോകുന്നു. അപ്പോള്‍ അത് മഞ്ഞനിറം പൂണ്ടതായി നിനക്ക് കാണാം. പിന്നീട് അവന്‍ അതിനെ വൈക്കോല്‍ തുരുമ്പാക്കുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ബുദ്ധിമാന്‍മാര്‍ക്ക് ഒരു ഗുണപാഠമുണ്ട്‌

22. أَفَمَن شَرَحَ ٱللَّهُ صَدۡرَهُۥ لِلۡإِسۡلَٰمِ فَهُوَ عَلَىٰ نُورٖ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلۡقَٰسِيَةِ قُلُوبُهُم مِّن ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ

    ✦22

    So is one whose breast Allah has expanded to [accept] Islam and he is upon a light from his Lord [like one whose heart rejects it]? Then woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah. Those are in manifest error

    അപ്പോള്‍ ഏതൊരാളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിന് ഇസ്ലാം സ്വീകരിക്കാന്‍ അല്ലാഹു വിശാലത നല്‍കുകയും അങ്ങനെ അവന്‍ തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള പ്രകാശത്തിലായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുവോ (അവന്‍ ഹൃദയം കടുത്തുപോയവനെപ്പേലെയാണോ?) എന്നാല്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ സ്മരണയില്‍ നിന്ന് അകന്ന് ഹൃദയങ്ങള്‍ കടുത്തുപോയവര്‍ക്കാകുന്നു നാശം. അത്തരക്കാര്‍ വ്യക്തമായ ദുര്‍മാര്‍ഗത്തിലത്രെ

23. ٱللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡحَدِيثِ كِتَٰبٗا مُّتَشَٰبِهٗا مَّثَانِيَ تَقۡشَعِرُّ مِنۡهُ جُلُودُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡشَوۡنَ رَبَّهُمۡ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمۡ وَقُلُوبُهُمۡ إِلَىٰ ذِكۡرِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهۡدِي بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُۚ وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡ هَادٍ

    ✦23

    Allah has sent down the best statement: a consistent Book wherein is reiteration. The skins shiver therefrom of those who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts relax at the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah by which He guides whom He wills. And one whom Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide

    അല്ലാഹുവാണ് ഏറ്റവും ഉത്തമമായ വര്‍ത്തമാനം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. അഥവാ വചനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പരസ്പരം സാമ്യമുള്ളതും ആവര്‍ത്തിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന വചനങ്ങളുള്ളതുമായ ഒരു ഗ്രന്ഥം. തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവരുടെ ചര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ അതു നിമിത്തം രോമാഞ്ചമണിയുന്നു. പിന്നീട് അവരുടെ ചര്‍മ്മങ്ങളും ഹൃദയങ്ങളും അല്ലാഹുവെ സ്മരിക്കുന്നതിനായി വിനീതമാവുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അതത്രെ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ മാര്‍ഗദര്‍ശനം. അതുമുഖേന താന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവരെ അവന്‍ നേര്‍വഴിയിലാക്കുന്നു. വല്ലവനെയും അവന്‍ പിഴവിലാക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അവന് വഴി കാട്ടാന്‍ ആരും തന്നെയില്ല

24. أَفَمَن يَتَّقِي بِوَجۡهِهِۦ سُوٓءَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ وَقِيلَ لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ ذُوقُواْ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡسِبُونَ

    ✦24

    Then is he who will shield with his face the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection [like one secure from it]? And it will be said to the wrongdoers, "Taste what you used to earn

    എന്നാല്‍ ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളില്‍ കടുത്ത ശിക്ഷയെ സ്വന്തം മുഖം കൊണ്ട് തടുക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്ന ഒരാള്‍ (അന്ന് നിര്‍ഭയനായിരിക്കുന്നവനെ പോലെ ആകുമോ?) നിങ്ങള്‍ സമ്പാദിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്‌, നിങ്ങള്‍ ആസ്വദിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക. എന്ന് അക്രമികളോട് പറയപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും

25. كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَأَتَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ

    ✦25

    Those before them denied, and punishment came upon them from where they did not perceive

    അവര്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പുള്ളവരും സത്യത്തെ നിഷേധിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ അറിയാത്ത ഭാഗത്ത്കൂടി അവര്‍ക്ക് ശിക്ഷ വന്നെത്തി

26. فَأَذَاقَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡخِزۡيَ فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَعَذَابُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ أَكۡبَرُۚ لَوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ

    ✦26

    So Allah made them taste disgrace in worldly life. But the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew

    അങ്ങനെ ഐഹികജീവിതത്തില്‍ അല്ലാഹു അവര്‍ക്ക് അപമാനം ആസ്വദിപ്പിച്ചു. പരലോകശിക്ഷ തന്നെയാകുന്നു ഏറ്റവും ഗുരുതരമായത്‌. അവര്‍ അത് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍

27. وَلَقَدۡ ضَرَبۡنَا لِلنَّاسِ فِي هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مِن كُلِّ مَثَلٖ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

    ✦27

    And We have certainly presented for the people in this Qur'an from every [kind of] example - that they might remember

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഈ ഖുര്‍ആനില്‍ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി നാം എല്ലാവിധത്തിലുമുള്ള ഉപമകള്‍ വിവരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്‌; അവര്‍ ആലോചിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി

28. قُرۡءَانًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيۡرَ ذِي عِوَجٖ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ

    ✦28

    [It is] an Arabic Qur'an, without any deviance that they might become righteous

    അതെ, ഒട്ടും വക്രതയുള്ളതല്ലാത്ത, അറബിഭാഷയിലുള്ള ഒരു ഖുര്‍ആന്‍. അവര്‍ സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിക്കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി

29. ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلٗا رَّجُلٗا فِيهِ شُرَكَآءُ مُتَشَٰكِسُونَ وَرَجُلٗا سَلَمٗا لِّرَجُلٍ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِيَانِ مَثَلًاۚ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِۚ بَلۡ أَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

    ✦29

    Allah presents an example: a slave owned by quarreling partners and another belonging exclusively to one man - are they equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! But most of them do not know

    അല്ലാഹു ഇതാ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ ഉപമയായി എടുത്തുകാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. പരസ്പരം വഴക്കടിക്കുന്ന ഏതാനും പങ്കുകാരാണ് അവന്‍റെ യജമാനന്‍മാര്‍. ഒരു യജമാനന് മാത്രം കീഴ്പെടേണ്ടവനായ മറ്റൊരാളെയും (ഉപമയായി എടുത്തുകാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.) ഉപമയില്‍ ഇവര്‍ രണ്ടുപേരും ഒരുപോലെയാകുമോ? അല്ലാഹുവിന് സ്തുതി. പക്ഷെ അവരില്‍ അധികപേരും അറിയുന്നില്ല

30. إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٞ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ

    ✦30

    Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നീ മരിക്കുന്നവനാകുന്നു. അവരും മരിക്കുന്നവരാകുന്നു

31. ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ عِندَ رَبِّكُمۡ تَخۡتَصِمُونَ

    ✦31

    Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, before your Lord, will dispute

    പിന്നീട് നിങ്ങള്‍ ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളില്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ അടുക്കല്‍ വെച്ച് വഴക്ക് കൂടുന്നതാണ്‌

32. ۞فَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّن كَذَبَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلصِّدۡقِ إِذۡ جَآءَهُۥٓۚ أَلَيۡسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثۡوٗى لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

    ✦32

    So who is more unjust than one who lies about Allah and denies the truth when it has come to him? Is there not in Hell a residence for the disbelievers

    അപ്പോള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ കള്ളം പറയുകയും, സത്യം തനിക്ക് വന്നെത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ അതിനെ നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളുകയും ചെയ്തവനെക്കാള്‍ കടുത്ത അക്രമി ആരുണ്ട്‌? നരകത്തിലല്ലയോ സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ക്കുള്ള പാര്‍പ്പിടം

33. وَٱلَّذِي جَآءَ بِٱلصِّدۡقِ وَصَدَّقَ بِهِۦٓ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَ

    ✦33

    And the one who has brought the truth and [they who] believed in it - those are the righteous

    സത്യവും കൊണ്ട് വരുകയും അതില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതാരോ അത്തരക്കാര്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിച്ചവര്‍

34. لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡۚ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

    ✦34

    They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good

    അവര്‍ക്ക് തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ അവര്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെന്തോ അതുണ്ടായിരിക്കും. അതത്രെ സദ്‌വൃത്തര്‍ക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം

35. لِيُكَفِّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَنۡهُمۡ أَسۡوَأَ ٱلَّذِي عَمِلُواْ وَيَجۡزِيَهُمۡ أَجۡرَهُم بِأَحۡسَنِ ٱلَّذِي كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

    ✦35

    That Allah may remove from them the worst of what they did and reward them their due for the best of what they used to do

    അവര്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചതില്‍ നിന്ന് ഏറ്റവും ചീത്തയായതു പോലും അല്ലാഹു അവരില്‍ നിന്ന് മായ്ച്ചുകളയും. അവര്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചതില്‍ ഏറ്റവും ഉത്തമമായതനുസരിച്ച് അവര്‍ക്കവന്‍ പ്രതിഫലം നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്യും

36. أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبۡدَهُۥۖ وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ بِٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦۚ وَمَن يُضۡلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡ هَادٖ

    ✦36

    Is not Allah sufficient for His Servant [Prophet Muhammad]? And [yet], they threaten you with those [they worship] other than Him. And whoever Allah leaves astray - for him there is no guide

    തന്‍റെ ദാസന്ന് അല്ലാഹു മതിയായവനല്ലയോ? അവന്ന് പുറമെയുള്ളവരെ പറ്റി അവര്‍ നിന്നെ പേടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. വല്ലവനെയും അല്ലാഹു പിഴവിലാക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അവന്ന് വഴി കാട്ടാന്‍ ആരുമില്ല

37. وَمَن يَهۡدِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن مُّضِلٍّۗ أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِعَزِيزٖ ذِي ٱنتِقَامٖ

    ✦37

    And whoever Allah guides - for him there is no misleader. Is not Allah Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution

    വല്ലവനെയും അല്ലാഹു നേര്‍വഴിയിലാക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അവനെ വഴിപിഴപ്പിക്കുവാനും ആരുമില്ല. അല്ലാഹു പ്രതാപിയും ശിക്ഷാനടപടി എടുക്കുന്നവനും അല്ലയോ

38. وَلَئِن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّنۡ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۚ قُلۡ أَفَرَءَيۡتُم مَّا تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِنۡ أَرَادَنِيَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ هَلۡ هُنَّ كَٰشِفَٰتُ ضُرِّهِۦٓ أَوۡ أَرَادَنِي بِرَحۡمَةٍ هَلۡ هُنَّ مُمۡسِكَٰتُ رَحۡمَتِهِۦۚ قُلۡ حَسۡبِيَ ٱللَّهُۖ عَلَيۡهِ يَتَوَكَّلُ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلُونَ

    ✦38

    And if you asked them, "Who created the heavens and the earth?" they would surely say, "Allah." Say, "Then have you considered what you invoke besides Allah? If Allah intended me harm, are they removers of His harm; or if He intended me mercy, are they withholders of His mercy?" Say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; upon Him [alone] rely the [wise] reliers

    ആകാശങ്ങളും ഭൂമിയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചത് ആരെന്ന് നീ അവരോട് ചോദിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ പറയും: അല്ലാഹു എന്ന്‌. നീ പറയുക: എങ്കില്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ നിങ്ങള്‍ വിളിച്ച് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്നവയെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ച് നോക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ? എനിക്ക് വല്ല ഉപദ്രവവും വരുത്താന്‍ അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അവയ്ക്ക് അവന്‍റെ ഉപദ്രവം നീക്കം ചെയ്യാനാവുമോ? അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അവന്‍ എനിക്ക് വല്ല അനുഗ്രഹവും ചെയ്യുവാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചാല്‍ അവയ്ക്ക് അവന്‍റെ അനുഗ്രഹം പിടിച്ചു വെക്കാനാകുമോ? പറയുക: എനിക്ക് അല്ലാഹു മതി. അവന്‍റെ മേലാകുന്നു ഭരമേല്‍പിക്കുന്നവര്‍ ഭരമേല്‍പിക്കുന്നത്‌

39. قُلۡ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡمَلُواْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمۡ إِنِّي عَٰمِلٞۖ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

    ✦39

    Say, "O my people, work according to your position, [for] indeed, I am working; and you are going to know

    പറയുക: എന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ നിലപാടനുസരിച്ച് നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക. ഞാനും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുക തന്നെയാകുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ വഴിയെ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അറിയുമാറാകും

40. مَن يَأۡتِيهِ عَذَابٞ يُخۡزِيهِ وَيَحِلُّ عَلَيۡهِ عَذَابٞ مُّقِيمٌ

    ✦40

    To whom will come a torment disgracing him and on whom will descend an enduring punishment

    അപമാനകരമായ ശിക്ഷ വന്നെത്തുന്നതും, ശാശ്വതമായ ശിക്ഷ വന്നിറങ്ങുന്നതും ആര്‍ക്കാണെന്ന്‌

41. إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ لِلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ فَمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ فَلِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيۡهَاۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِوَكِيلٍ

    ✦41

    Indeed, We sent down to you the Book for the people in truth. So whoever is guided - it is for [the benefit of] his soul; and whoever goes astray only goes astray to its detriment. And you are not a manager over them

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാം മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി സത്യപ്രകാരമുള്ള വേദഗ്രന്ഥം നിന്‍റെ മേല്‍ ഇറക്കിത്തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകയാല്‍ വല്ലവനും സന്‍മാര്‍ഗം സ്വീകരിച്ചാല്‍ അത് അവന്‍റെ ഗുണത്തിന് തന്നെയാണ്‌. വല്ലവനും വഴിപിഴച്ചു പോയാല്‍ അവന്‍ വഴിപിഴച്ചു പോകുന്നതിന്‍റെ ദോഷവും അവന് തന്നെ. നീ അവരുടെ മേല്‍ കൈകാര്യകര്‍ത്താവൊന്നുമല്ല

42. ٱللَّهُ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلۡأَنفُسَ حِينَ مَوۡتِهَا وَٱلَّتِي لَمۡ تَمُتۡ فِي مَنَامِهَاۖ فَيُمۡسِكُ ٱلَّتِي قَضَىٰ عَلَيۡهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَيُرۡسِلُ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٖ مُّسَمًّىۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

    ✦42

    Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that do not die [He takes] during their sleep. Then He keeps those for which He has decreed death and releases the others for a specified term. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought

    ആത്മാവുകളെ അവയുടെ മരണവേളയില്‍ അല്ലാഹു പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായി ഏറ്റെടുക്കുന്നു. മരണപ്പെടാത്തവയെ അവയുടെ ഉറക്കത്തിലും. എന്നിട്ട് ഏതൊക്കെ ആത്മാവിന് അവന്‍ മരണം വിധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നുവോ അവയെ അവന്‍ പിടിച്ചു വെയ്ക്കുന്നു. മറ്റുള്ളവയെ നിശ്ചിതമായ ഒരു അവധിവരെ അവന്‍ വിട്ടയക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ചിന്തിക്കുന്ന ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്‌

43. أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ شُفَعَآءَۚ قُلۡ أَوَلَوۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يَعۡقِلُونَ

    ✦43

    Or have they taken other than Allah as intercessors? Say, "Even though they do not possess [power over] anything, nor do they reason

    അതല്ല, അല്ലാഹുവിനു പുറമെ അവര്‍ ശുപാര്‍ശക്കാരെ സ്വീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണോ? പറയുക: അവര്‍ (ശുപാര്‍ശക്കാര്‍) യാതൊന്നും അധീനപ്പെടുത്തുകയോ ചിന്തിച്ചു മനസ്സിലാക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നില്ലെങ്കില്‍ പോലും (അവരെ ശുപാര്‍ശക്കാരാക്കുകയോ)

44. قُل لِّلَّهِ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ جَمِيعٗاۖ لَّهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيۡهِ تُرۡجَعُونَ

    ✦44

    Say, "To Allah belongs [the right to allow] intercession entirely. To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Then to Him you will be returned

    പറയുക: അല്ലാഹുവിനാകുന്നു ശുപാര്‍ശ മുഴുവന്‍. അവന്നാകുന്നു ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും, ഭൂമിയുടെയും ആധിപത്യം. പിന്നീട് അവങ്കലേക്ക് തന്നെയാകുന്നു നിങ്ങള്‍ മടക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്‌

45. وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَحۡدَهُ ٱشۡمَأَزَّتۡ قُلُوبُ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ

    ✦45

    And when Allah is mentioned alone, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion, but when those [worshipped] other than Him are mentioned, immediately they rejoice

    അല്ലാഹുവെപ്പറ്റി മാത്രം പ്രസ്താവിക്കപ്പെട്ടാല്‍ പരലോകത്തില്‍ വിശ്വാസമില്ലാത്തവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അസഹ്യത അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്‌. അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെയുള്ളവരെപ്പറ്റി പ്രസ്താവിക്കപ്പെട്ടാലോ അപ്പോഴതാ അവര്‍ സന്തുഷ്ടചിത്തരാകുന്നു

46. قُلِ ٱللَّهُمَّ فَاطِرَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ عَٰلِمَ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ أَنتَ تَحۡكُمُ بَيۡنَ عِبَادِكَ فِي مَا كَانُواْ فِيهِ يَخۡتَلِفُونَ

    ✦46

    Say, "O Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, You will judge between your servants concerning that over which they used to differ

    പറയുക: ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും സ്രഷ്ടാവും, അദൃശ്യവും ദൃശ്യവും അറിയുന്നവനുമായ അല്ലാഹുവേ, നിന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ അവര്‍ ഭിന്നിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വിഷയത്തില്‍ നീ തന്നെയാണ് വിധികല്‍പിക്കുന്നത്‌

47. وَلَوۡ أَنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا وَمِثۡلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لَٱفۡتَدَوۡاْ بِهِۦ مِن سُوٓءِ ٱلۡعَذَابِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۚ وَبَدَا لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ يَكُونُواْ يَحۡتَسِبُونَ

    ✦47

    And if those who did wrong had all that is in the earth entirely and the like of it with it, they would [attempt to] ransom themselves thereby from the worst of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection. And there will appear to them from Allah that which they had not taken into account

    ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളത് മുഴുവനും അതോടൊപ്പം അത്രയും കൂടിയും അക്രമം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചവരുടെ അധീനത്തില്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നാല്‍ പോലും ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളിലെ കടുത്ത ശിക്ഷയില്‍ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെടാന്‍ അതവര്‍ പ്രായശ്ചിത്തമായി നല്‍കിയേക്കും. അവര്‍ കണക്ക് കൂട്ടിയിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്ന പലതും അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് അവര്‍ക്ക് വെളിപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും

48. وَبَدَا لَهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُواْ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ

    ✦48

    And there will appear to them the evils they had earned, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule

    അവര്‍ സമ്പാദിച്ചതിന്‍റെ ദൂഷ്യങ്ങള്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് വെളിപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും. എന്തൊന്നിനെപറ്റി അവര്‍ പരിഹസിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ അത് അവരെ വലയം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യും

49. فَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ ضُرّٞ دَعَانَا ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلۡنَٰهُ نِعۡمَةٗ مِّنَّا قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أُوتِيتُهُۥ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمِۭۚ بَلۡ هِيَ فِتۡنَةٞ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

    ✦49

    And when adversity touches man, he calls upon Us; then when We bestow on him a favor from Us, he says, "I have only been given it because of [my] knowledge." Rather, it is a trial, but most of them do not know

    എന്നാല്‍ മനുഷ്യന് വല്ല ദോഷവും ബാധിച്ചാല്‍ നമ്മോടവന്‍ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു. പിന്നീട് നാം അവന്ന് നമ്മുടെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള വല്ല അനുഗ്രഹവും പ്രദാനം ചെയ്താല്‍ അവന്‍ പറയും; അറിവിന്‍റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില്‍ തന്നെ യാണ് തനിക്ക് അത് നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത് എന്ന്‌. പക്ഷെ, അത് ഒരു പരീക്ഷണമാകുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ അവരില്‍ അധികപേരും അത് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല

50. قَدۡ قَالَهَا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ

    ✦50

    Those before them had already said it, but they were not availed by what they used to earn

    ഇവരുടെ മുമ്പുള്ളവരും ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുകയുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. എന്നാല്‍ അവര്‍ സമ്പാദിച്ചിരുന്നത് അവര്‍ക്ക് പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുകയുണ്ടായില്ല

51. فَأَصَابَهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُواْۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنۡ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ سَيُصِيبُهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُواْ وَمَا هُم بِمُعۡجِزِينَ

    ✦51

    And the evil consequences of what they earned struck them. And those who have wronged of these [people] will be afflicted by the evil consequences of what they earned; and they will not cause failure

    അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ സമ്പാദിച്ചിരുന്നതിന്‍റെ ദൂഷ്യങ്ങള്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് ബാധിച്ചു. ഇക്കൂട്ടരില്‍ നിന്ന് അക്രമം ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ളവര്‍ക്കും തങ്ങള്‍ സമ്പാദിച്ചതിന്‍റെ ദൂഷ്യങ്ങള്‍ ബാധിക്കാന്‍ പോകുകയാണ്‌. അവര്‍ക്ക് (നമ്മെ) തോല്‍പിച്ചു കളയാനാവില്ല

52. أَوَلَمۡ يَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

    ✦52

    Do they not know that Allah extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it]? Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe

    അല്ലാഹു താന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഉപജീവനം വിശാലമാക്കികൊടുക്കുകയും താന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഇടുങ്ങിയതാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്ന് അവര്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിട്ടില്ലേ? വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്‌

53. ۞قُلۡ يَٰعِبَادِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسۡرَفُواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ لَا تَقۡنَطُواْ مِن رَّحۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَغۡفِرُ ٱلذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًاۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

    ✦53

    Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful

    പറയുക: സ്വന്തം ആത്മാക്കളോട് അതിക്രമം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച് പോയ എന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാരേ, അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ കാരുണ്യത്തെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങള്‍ നിരാശപ്പെടരുത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു പാപങ്ങളെല്ലാം പൊറുക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും കരുണാനിധിയും

54. وَأَنِيبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ وَأَسۡلِمُواْ لَهُۥ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَكُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ

    ✦54

    And return [in repentance] to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped

    നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ശിക്ഷ വന്നെത്തുന്നതിനു മുമ്പായി നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്ക് താഴ്മയോടെ മടങ്ങുകയും, അവന്നു കീഴ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുവിന്‍. പിന്നെ (അത് വന്നതിന് ശേഷം)നിങ്ങള്‍ സഹായിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതല്ല

55. وَٱتَّبِعُوٓاْ أَحۡسَنَ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَكُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ بَغۡتَةٗ وَأَنتُمۡ لَا تَشۡعُرُونَ

    ✦55

    And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive

    നിങ്ങള്‍ ഓര്‍ക്കാതിരിക്കെ പെട്ടെന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ശിക്ഷ വന്നെത്തുന്നതിന് മുമ്പായി നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടതില്‍ നിന്ന് ഏറ്റവും ഉത്തമമായത് നിങ്ങള്‍ പിന്‍പറ്റുകയും ചെയ്യുക

56. أَن تَقُولَ نَفۡسٞ يَٰحَسۡرَتَىٰ عَلَىٰ مَا فَرَّطتُ فِي جَنۢبِ ٱللَّهِ وَإِن كُنتُ لَمِنَ ٱلسَّـٰخِرِينَ

    ✦56

    Lest a soul should say, "Oh [how great is] my regret over what I neglected in regard to Allah and that I was among the mockers

    എന്‍റെ കഷ്ടമേ, അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് ഞാന്‍ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതില്‍ ഞാന്‍ വീഴ്ചവരുത്തിയല്ലോ. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ കളിയാക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ തന്നെ ആയിപ്പോയല്ലോ എന്ന് വല്ല വ്യക്തിയും പറഞ്ഞേക്കും എന്നതിനാലാണിത്‌

57. أَوۡ تَقُولَ لَوۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هَدَىٰنِي لَكُنتُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ

    ✦57

    Or [lest] it say, "If only Allah had guided me, I would have been among the righteous

    അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അല്ലാഹു എന്നെ നേര്‍വഴിയിലാക്കിയിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഞാന്‍ സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ആകുമായിരുന്നു. എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞേക്കുമെന്നതിനാല്‍

58. أَوۡ تَقُولَ حِينَ تَرَى ٱلۡعَذَابَ لَوۡ أَنَّ لِي كَرَّةٗ فَأَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

    ✦58

    Or [lest] it say when it sees the punishment, "If only I had another turn so I could be among the doers of good

    അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ശിക്ഷ നേരില്‍ കാണുന്ന സന്ദര്‍ഭത്തില്‍ എനിക്കൊന്ന് മടങ്ങിപ്പോകാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഞാന്‍ സദ്‌വൃത്തരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ആകുമായിരുന്നു എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞേക്കുമെന്നതിനാല്‍

59. بَلَىٰ قَدۡ جَآءَتۡكَ ءَايَٰتِي فَكَذَّبۡتَ بِهَا وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتَ وَكُنتَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

    ✦59

    But yes, there had come to you My verses, but you denied them and were arrogant, and you were among the disbelievers

    അതെ, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള്‍ നിനക്ക് വന്നെത്തുകയുണ്ടായി. അപ്പോള്‍ നീ അവയെ നിഷേധിച്ച് തള്ളുകയും അഹങ്കരിക്കുകയും സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാകുകയും ചെയ്തു

60. وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ تَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَبُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ وُجُوهُهُم مُّسۡوَدَّةٌۚ أَلَيۡسَ فِي جَهَنَّمَ مَثۡوٗى لِّلۡمُتَكَبِّرِينَ

    ✦60

    And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied about Allah [with] their faces blackened. Is there not in Hell a residence for the arrogant

    ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളില്‍, അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ കള്ളം പറഞ്ഞവരുടെ മുഖങ്ങള്‍ കറുത്തിരുണ്ടതായി നിനക്ക് കാണാം. നരകത്തിലല്ലയോ അഹങ്കാരികള്‍ക്കുള്ള വാസസ്ഥലം

61. وَيُنَجِّي ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ بِمَفَازَتِهِمۡ لَا يَمَسُّهُمُ ٱلسُّوٓءُ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ

    ✦61

    And Allah will save those who feared Him by their attainment; no evil will touch them, nor will they grieve

    സൂക്ഷ്മത പുലര്‍ത്തിയവരെ രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി അവര്‍ക്കുള്ളതായ സുരക്ഷിതസ്ഥാനത്ത് അല്ലാഹു എത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. ശിക്ഷ അവരെ സ്പര്‍ശിക്കുകയില്ല. അവര്‍ ദുഃഖിക്കേണ്ടി വരികയുമില്ല

62. ٱللَّهُ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَكِيلٞ

    ✦62

    Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is, over all things, Disposer of affairs

    അല്ലാഹു എല്ലാ വസ്തുക്കളുടെയും സ്രഷ്ടാവാകുന്നു. അവന്‍ എല്ലാ വസ്തുക്കളുടെ മേലും കൈകാര്യകര്‍ത്താവുമാകുന്നു

63. لَّهُۥ مَقَالِيدُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ

    ✦63

    To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. And they who disbelieve in the verses of Allah - it is those who are the losers

    ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും താക്കോലുകള്‍ അവന്‍റെ അധീനത്തിലാകുന്നു. അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെ നിഷേധിച്ചവരാരോ അവര്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു നഷ്ടക്കാര്‍

64. قُلۡ أَفَغَيۡرَ ٱللَّهِ تَأۡمُرُوٓنِّيٓ أَعۡبُدُ أَيُّهَا ٱلۡجَٰهِلُونَ

    ✦64

    Say, [O Muhammad], "Is it other than Allah that you order me to worship, O ignorant ones

    (നബിയേ,) പറയുക: ഹേ; വിവരംകെട്ടവരേ, അപ്പോള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവല്ലാത്തവരെ ഞാന്‍ ആരാധിക്കണമെന്നാണോ നിങ്ങള്‍ എന്നോട് കല്‍പിക്കുന്നത്‌

65. وَلَقَدۡ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡكَ وَإِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكَ لَئِنۡ أَشۡرَكۡتَ لَيَحۡبَطَنَّ عَمَلُكَ وَلَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ

    ✦65

    And it was already revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate [anything] with Allah, your work would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിനക്കും നിന്‍റെ മുമ്പുള്ളവര്‍ക്കും സന്ദേശം നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത് ഇതത്രെ: (അല്ലാഹുവിന്‌) നീ പങ്കാളിയെ ചേര്‍ക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്‍റെ കര്‍മ്മം നിഷ്ഫലമായിപ്പോകുകയും തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നീ നഷ്ടക്കാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ആകുകയും ചെയ്യും

66. بَلِ ٱللَّهَ فَٱعۡبُدۡ وَكُن مِّنَ ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ

    ✦66

    Rather, worship [only] Allah and be among the grateful

    അല്ല, അല്ലാഹുവെ തന്നെ നീ ആരാധിക്കുകയും നീ നന്ദിയുള്ളവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക

67. وَمَا قَدَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدۡرِهِۦ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ جَمِيعٗا قَبۡضَتُهُۥ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ مَطۡوِيَّـٰتُۢ بِيَمِينِهِۦۚ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ

    ✦67

    They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal, while the earth entirely will be [within] His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in His right hand. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him

    അല്ലാഹുവെ കണക്കാക്കേണ്ട നിലയില്‍ അവര്‍ കണക്കാക്കിയിട്ടില്ല. ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളില്‍ ഭൂമി മുഴുവന്‍ അവന്‍റെ ഒരു കൈപിടിയില്‍ ഒതുങ്ങുന്നതായിരിക്കും. ആകാശങ്ങള്‍ അവന്‍റെ വലതുകൈയ്യില്‍ ചുരുട്ടിപിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടവയുമായിരിക്കും. അവനെത്ര പരിശുദ്ധന്‍! അവര്‍ പങ്കുചേര്‍ക്കുന്നതിനെല്ലാം അവന്‍ അതീതനായിരിക്കുന്നു

68. وَنُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۖ ثُمَّ نُفِخَ فِيهِ أُخۡرَىٰ فَإِذَا هُمۡ قِيَامٞ يَنظُرُونَ

    ✦68

    And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on

    കാഹളത്തില്‍ ഊതപ്പെടും. അപ്പോള്‍ ആകാശങ്ങളിലുള്ളവരും ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളവരും ചലനമറ്റവരായിത്തീരും; അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചവരൊഴികെ. പിന്നീട് അതില്‍ (കാഹളത്തില്‍) മറ്റൊരിക്കല്‍ ഊതപ്പെടും. അപ്പോഴതാ അവര്‍ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് നോക്കുന്നു

69. وَأَشۡرَقَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ بِنُورِ رَبِّهَا وَوُضِعَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ وَجِاْيٓءَ بِٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ وَقُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَهُمۡ لَا يُظۡلَمُونَ

    ✦69

    And the earth will shine with the light of its Lord, and the record [of deeds] will be placed, and the prophets and the witnesses will be brought, and it will be judged between them in truth, and they will not be wronged

    ഭൂമി അതിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ പ്രഭകൊണ്ട് പ്രകാശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും (കര്‍മ്മങ്ങളുടെ) രേഖവെക്കപ്പെടുകയും പ്രവാചകന്‍മാരും സാക്ഷികളും കൊണ്ട് വരപ്പെടുകയും ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ സത്യപ്രകാരം വിധിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും. അവരോട് അനീതി കാണിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല

70. وَوُفِّيَتۡ كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ مَّا عَمِلَتۡ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا يَفۡعَلُونَ

    ✦70

    And every soul will be fully compensated [for] what it did; and He is most knowing of what they do

    ഓരോ വ്യക്തിക്കും താന്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചത് നിറവേറ്റികൊടുക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും. അവര്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതിനെ പറ്റി അവന്‍ നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയുന്നവനത്രെ

71. وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ زُمَرًاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا فُتِحَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمۡ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمۡ يَأۡتِكُمۡ رُسُلٞ مِّنكُمۡ يَتۡلُونَ عَلَيۡكُمۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّكُمۡ وَيُنذِرُونَكُمۡ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِكُمۡ هَٰذَاۚ قَالُواْ بَلَىٰ وَلَٰكِنۡ حَقَّتۡ كَلِمَةُ ٱلۡعَذَابِ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ

    ✦71

    And those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups until, when they reach it, its gates are opened and its keepers will say, "Did there not come to you messengers from yourselves, reciting to you the verses of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "Yes, but the word of punishment has come into effect upon the disbelievers

    സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ കൂട്ടം കൂട്ടമായി നരകത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും. അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ അതിന്നടുത്തു വന്നാല്‍ അതിന്‍റെ വാതിലുകള്‍ തുറക്കപ്പെടും. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള്‍ ഓതികേള്‍പിക്കുകയും, നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കുള്ളതായ ഈ ദിവസത്തെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടുന്നതിനെ പറ്റി നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് താക്കീത് നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ നിന്നുതന്നെയുള്ള ദൂതന്‍മാര്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ വന്നിട്ടില്ലേ. എന്ന് അതിന്‍റെ (നരകത്തിന്‍റെ) കാവല്‍ക്കാര്‍ അവരോട് ചോദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. അവര്‍ പറയും: അതെ. പക്ഷെ സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ മേല്‍ ശിക്ഷയുടെ വചനം സ്ഥിരപ്പെട്ടു പോയി

72. قِيلَ ٱدۡخُلُوٓاْ أَبۡوَٰبَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَاۖ فَبِئۡسَ مَثۡوَى ٱلۡمُتَكَبِّرِينَ

    ✦72

    [To them] it will be said, "Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant

    (അവരോട്‌) പറയപ്പെടും: നിങ്ങള്‍ നരകത്തിന്‍റെ വാതിലുകളിലൂടെ പ്രവേശിക്കുക. നിങ്ങളതില്‍ നിത്യവാസികളായിരിക്കും. എന്നാല്‍ അഹങ്കാരികളുടെ പാര്‍പ്പിടം എത്ര ചീത്ത

73. وَسِيقَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْ رَبَّهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡجَنَّةِ زُمَرًاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءُوهَا وَفُتِحَتۡ أَبۡوَٰبُهَا وَقَالَ لَهُمۡ خَزَنَتُهَا سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ طِبۡتُمۡ فَٱدۡخُلُوهَا خَٰلِدِينَ

    ✦73

    But those who feared their Lord will be driven to Paradise in groups until, when they reach it while its gates have been opened and its keepers say, "Peace be upon you; you have become pure; so enter it to abide eternally therein," [they will enter]

    തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചു ജീവിച്ചവര്‍ സ്വര്‍ഗത്തിലേക്ക് കൂട്ടംകൂട്ടമായി നയിക്കപ്പെടും. അങ്ങനെ അതിന്‍റെ കവാടങ്ങള്‍ തൂറന്ന് വെക്കപ്പെട്ട നിലയില്‍ അവര്‍ അതിന്നടുത്ത് വരുമ്പോള്‍ അവരോട് അതിന്‍റെ കാവല്‍ക്കാര്‍ പറയും: നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സമാധാനം. നിങ്ങള്‍ സംശുദ്ധരായിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ നിത്യവാസികളെന്ന നിലയില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അതില്‍ പ്രവേശിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക

74. وَقَالُواْ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي صَدَقَنَا وَعۡدَهُۥ وَأَوۡرَثَنَا ٱلۡأَرۡضَ نَتَبَوَّأُ مِنَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ حَيۡثُ نَشَآءُۖ فَنِعۡمَ أَجۡرُ ٱلۡعَٰمِلِينَ

    ✦74

    And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has fulfilled for us His promise and made us inherit the earth [so] we may settle in Paradise wherever we will. And excellent is the reward of [righteous] workers

    അവര്‍ പറയും: നമ്മളോടുള്ള തന്‍റെ വാഗ്ദാനം സത്യമായി പാലിക്കുകയും സ്വര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് നാം ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് നമുക്ക് താമസിക്കാവുന്ന വിധം ഈ (സ്വര്‍ഗ) ഭൂമി നമുക്ക് അവകാശപ്പെടുത്തിത്തരികയും ചെയ്ത അല്ലാഹുവിന് സ്തുതി. അപ്പോള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചവര്‍ക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം എത്ര വിശിഷ്ടം

75. وَتَرَى ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ حَآفِّينَ مِنۡ حَوۡلِ ٱلۡعَرۡشِ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمۡدِ رَبِّهِمۡۚ وَقُضِيَ بَيۡنَهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ وَقِيلَ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    ✦75

    And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne, exalting [Allah] with praise of their Lord. And it will be judged between them in truth, and it will be said, "[All] praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds

    മലക്കുകള്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നതോടൊപ്പം കീര്‍ത്തനം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ട് സിംഹാസനത്തിന്‍റെ ചുറ്റും വലയം ചെയ്യുന്നതായി നിനക്ക് കാണാം. അവര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ സത്യപ്രകാരം വിധികല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടും. ലോകരക്ഷിതാവായ അല്ലാഹുവിന് സ്തുതി എന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യും
