بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

  1. كٓهيعٓصٓ

    1

    Kaf, Ha, Ya, 'Ayn, Sad

    കാഫ്‌-ഹാ-യാ-ഐന്‍-സ്വാദ്‌

  2. ذِكۡرُ رَحۡمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبۡدَهُۥ زَكَرِيَّآ

    2

    [This is] a mention of the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zechariah

    നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് തന്‍റെ ദാസനായ സകരിയ്യായ്ക്ക് ചെയ്ത അനുഗ്രഹത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള വിവരണമത്രെ ഇത്‌

  3. إِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ نِدَآءً خَفِيّٗا

    3

    When he called to his Lord a private supplication

    (അതായത്‌) അദ്ദേഹം തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ പതുക്കെ വിളിച്ച് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ച സന്ദര്‍ഭം

  4. قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَهَنَ ٱلۡعَظۡمُ مِنِّي وَٱشۡتَعَلَ ٱلرَّأۡسُ شَيۡبٗا وَلَمۡ أَكُنۢ بِدُعَآئِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيّٗا

    4

    He said, "My Lord, indeed my bones have weakened, and my head has filled with white, and never have I been in my supplication to You, my Lord, unhappy

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, എന്‍റെ എല്ലുകള്‍ ബലഹീനമായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. തലയാണെങ്കില്‍ നരച്ചു തിളങ്ങുന്നതായിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നിന്നോട് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചിട്ട് ഞാന്‍ ഭാഗ്യം കെട്ടവനായിട്ടില്ല

  5. وَإِنِّي خِفۡتُ ٱلۡمَوَٰلِيَ مِن وَرَآءِي وَكَانَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتِي عَاقِرٗا فَهَبۡ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيّٗا

    5

    And indeed, I fear the successors after me, and my wife has been barren, so give me from Yourself an heir

    എനിക്ക് പുറകെ വരാനുള്ള ബന്ധുമിത്രാദികളെപ്പറ്റി എനിക്ക് ഭയമാകുന്നു. എന്‍റെ ഭാര്യയാണെങ്കില്‍ വന്ധ്യയുമാകുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ നിന്‍റെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്ന് നീ എനിക്ക് ഒരു ബന്ധുവെ (അവകാശിയെ) നല്‍കേണമേ

  6. يَرِثُنِي وَيَرِثُ مِنۡ ءَالِ يَعۡقُوبَۖ وَٱجۡعَلۡهُ رَبِّ رَضِيّٗا

    6

    Who will inherit me and inherit from the family of Jacob. And make him, my Lord, pleasing [to You]

    എനിക്ക് അവന്‍ അനന്തരാവകാശിയായിരിക്കും. യഅ്ഖൂബ് കുടുംബത്തിനും അവന്‍ അനന്തരാവകാശിയായിരിക്കും. എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, അവനെ നീ (ഏവര്‍ക്കും) തൃപ്തിപ്പെട്ടവനാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ

  7. يَٰزَكَرِيَّآ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ ٱسۡمُهُۥ يَحۡيَىٰ لَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُ سَمِيّٗا

    7

    [He was told], "O Zechariah, indeed We give you good tidings of a boy whose name will be John. We have not assigned to any before [this] name

    ഹേ, സകരിയ്യാ, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിനക്ക് നാം ഒരു ആണ്‍കുട്ടിയെപ്പറ്റി സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത അറിയിക്കുന്നു. അവന്‍റെ പേര്‍ യഹ്‌യാ എന്നാകുന്നു. മുമ്പ് നാം ആരെയും അവന്‍റെ പേര് ഉള്ളവരാക്കിയിട്ടില്ല

  8. قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَٰمٞ وَكَانَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتِي عَاقِرٗا وَقَدۡ بَلَغۡتُ مِنَ ٱلۡكِبَرِ عِتِيّٗا

    8

    He said, "My Lord, how will I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, എനിക്കെങ്ങനെ ഒരു ആണ്‍കുട്ടിയുണ്ടാകും? എന്‍റെ ഭാര്യ വന്ധ്യയാകുന്നു. ഞാനാണെങ്കില്‍ വാര്‍ദ്ധക്യത്താല്‍ ചുക്കിച്ചുളിഞ്ഞ അവസ്ഥയിലെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു

  9. قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٞ وَقَدۡ خَلَقۡتُكَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَلَمۡ تَكُ شَيۡـٔٗا

    9

    [An angel] said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, for I created you before, while you were nothing

    അവന്‍ (അല്ലാഹു) പറഞ്ഞു: അങ്ങനെ തന്നെ. മുമ്പ് നീ യാതൊന്നുമല്ലാതിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍ നിന്നെ ഞാന്‍ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കെ, ഇത് എന്നെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം ഒരു നിസ്സാര കാര്യം മാത്രമാണ് എന്ന് നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു

  10. قَالَ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَل لِّيٓ ءَايَةٗۖ قَالَ ءَايَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ ٱلنَّاسَ ثَلَٰثَ لَيَالٖ سَوِيّٗا

    10

    [Zechariah] said, "My Lord, make for me a sign." He said, "Your sign is that you will not speak to the people for three nights, [being] sound

    അദ്ദേഹം (സകരിയ്യാ) പറഞ്ഞു: നീ എനിക്ക് ഒരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം ഏര്‍പെടുത്തിത്തരേണമേ. അവന്‍ (അല്ലാഹു) പറഞ്ഞു: നിനക്കുള്ള ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം വൈകല്യമൊന്നും ഇല്ലാത്തവനായിരിക്കെത്തന്നെ ജനങ്ങളോട് മൂന്ന് രാത്രി (ദിവസം) നീ സംസാരിക്കാതിരിക്കലാകുന്നു

  11. فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡمِحۡرَابِ فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ أَن سَبِّحُواْ بُكۡرَةٗ وَعَشِيّٗا

    11

    So he came out to his people from the prayer chamber and signaled to them to exalt [Allah] in the morning and afternoon

    അങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനാമണ്ഡപത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് തന്‍റെ ജനങ്ങളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടു. എന്നിട്ട്‌, നിങ്ങള്‍ രാവിലെയും വൈകുന്നേരവും അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ പരിശുദ്ധിയെ പ്രകീര്‍ത്തിക്കുക എന്ന് അവരോട് ആംഗ്യം കാണിച്ചു

  12. يَٰيَحۡيَىٰ خُذِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِقُوَّةٖۖ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلۡحُكۡمَ صَبِيّٗا

    12

    [Allah] said, "O John, take the Scripture with determination." And We gave him judgement [while yet] a boy

    ഹേ, യഹ്‌യാ വേദഗ്രന്ഥം ബലമായി സ്വീകരിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക. (എന്ന് നാം പറഞ്ഞു:) കുട്ടിയായിരിക്കെത്തന്നെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നാം ജ്ഞാനം നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്തു

  13. وَحَنَانٗا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَزَكَوٰةٗۖ وَكَانَ تَقِيّٗا

    13

    And affection from Us and purity, and he was fearing of Allah

    നമ്മുടെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള അനുകമ്പയും പരിശുദ്ധിയും (നല്‍കി.) അദ്ദേഹം ധര്‍മ്മനിഷ്ഠയുള്ളവനുമായിരുന്നു

  14. وَبَرَّۢا بِوَٰلِدَيۡهِ وَلَمۡ يَكُن جَبَّارًا عَصِيّٗا

    14

    And dutiful to his parents, and he was not a disobedient tyrant

    തന്‍റെ മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ക്ക് നന്‍മചെയ്യുന്നവനുമായിരുന്നു. നിഷ്ഠൂരനും അനുസരണം കെട്ടവനുമായിരുന്നില്ല

  15. وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡهِ يَوۡمَ وُلِدَ وَيَوۡمَ يَمُوتُ وَيَوۡمَ يُبۡعَثُ حَيّٗا

    15

    And peace be upon him the day he was born and the day he dies and the day he is raised alive

    അദ്ദേഹം ജനിച്ച ദിവസവും മരിക്കുന്ന ദിവസവും ജീവനോടെ എഴുന്നേല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ദിവസവും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് സമാധാനം

  16. وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مَرۡيَمَ إِذِ ٱنتَبَذَتۡ مِنۡ أَهۡلِهَا مَكَانٗا شَرۡقِيّٗا

    16

    And mention, [O Muhammad], in the Book [the story of] Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place toward the east

    വേദഗ്രന്ഥത്തില്‍ മര്‍യമിനെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള വിവരം നീ പറഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കുക. അവള്‍ തന്‍റെ വീട്ടുകാരില്‍ നിന്നകന്ന് കിഴക്ക് ഭാഗത്തുള്ള ഒരു സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് മാറിത്താമസിച്ച സന്ദര്‍ഭം

  17. فَٱتَّخَذَتۡ مِن دُونِهِمۡ حِجَابٗا فَأَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرٗا سَوِيّٗا

    17

    And she took, in seclusion from them, a screen. Then We sent to her Our Angel, and he represented himself to her as a well-proportioned man

    എന്നിട്ട് അവര്‍ കാണാതിരിക്കാന്‍ അവള്‍ ഒരു മറയുണ്ടാക്കി. അപ്പോള്‍ നമ്മുടെ ആത്മാവിനെ (ജിബ്‌രീലിനെ) നാം അവളുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് നിയോഗിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹം അവളുടെ മുമ്പില്‍ തികഞ്ഞ മനുഷ്യരൂപത്തില്‍ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു

  18. قَالَتۡ إِنِّيٓ أَعُوذُ بِٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ مِنكَ إِن كُنتَ تَقِيّٗا

    18

    She said, "Indeed, I seek refuge in the Most Merciful from you, [so leave me], if you should be fearing of Allah

    അവള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്നില്‍ നിന്ന് ഞാന്‍ പരമകാരുണികനില്‍ ശരണം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. നീ ധര്‍മ്മനിഷ്ഠയുള്ളവനാണെങ്കില്‍ (എന്നെ വിട്ട് മാറിപ്പോകൂ)

  19. قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَٰمٗا زَكِيّٗا

    19

    He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy

    അദ്ദേഹം (ജിബ്‌രീല്‍) പറഞ്ഞു: പരിശുദ്ധനായ ഒരു ആണ്‍കുട്ടിയെ നിനക്ക് ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് അയച്ച ദൂതന്‍ മാത്രമാകുന്നു ഞാന്‍

  20. قَالَتۡ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَٰمٞ وَلَمۡ يَمۡسَسۡنِي بَشَرٞ وَلَمۡ أَكُ بَغِيّٗا

    20

    She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste

    അവള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: എനിക്കെങ്ങനെ ഒരു ആണ്‍കുട്ടിയുണ്ടാകും? യാതൊരു മനുഷ്യനും എന്നെ സ്പര്‍ശിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഞാന്‍ ഒരു ദുര്‍നടപടിക്കാരിയായിട്ടുമില്ല

  21. قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٞۖ وَلِنَجۡعَلَهُۥٓ ءَايَةٗ لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحۡمَةٗ مِّنَّاۚ وَكَانَ أَمۡرٗا مَّقۡضِيّٗا

    21

    He said, "Thus [it will be]; your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and We will make him a sign to the people and a mercy from Us. And it is a matter [already] decreed

    അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: (കാര്യം) അങ്ങനെതന്നെയാകുന്നു. അത് തന്നെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം നിസ്സാരമായ ഒരു കാര്യമാണെന്ന് നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. അവനെ (ആ കുട്ടിയെ) മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്കൊരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തവും, നമ്മുടെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്നുള്ള കാരുണ്യവും ആക്കാനും (നാം ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നു.) അത് തീരുമാനിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു കാര്യമാകുന്നു

  22. ۞فَحَمَلَتۡهُ فَٱنتَبَذَتۡ بِهِۦ مَكَانٗا قَصِيّٗا

    22

    So she conceived him, and she withdrew with him to a remote place

    അങ്ങനെ അവനെ ഗര്‍ഭം ധരിക്കുകയും, എന്നിട്ട് അതുമായി അവള്‍ അകലെ ഒരു സ്ഥലത്ത് മാറിത്താമസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു

  23. فَأَجَآءَهَا ٱلۡمَخَاضُ إِلَىٰ جِذۡعِ ٱلنَّخۡلَةِ قَالَتۡ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي مِتُّ قَبۡلَ هَٰذَا وَكُنتُ نَسۡيٗا مَّنسِيّٗا

    23

    And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm tree. She said, "Oh, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion, forgotten

    അങ്ങനെ പ്രസവവേദന അവളെ ഒരു ഈന്തപ്പന മരത്തിന്‍റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് കൊണ്ട് വന്നു. അവള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഞാന്‍ ഇതിന് മുമ്പ് തന്നെ മരിക്കുകയും, പാടെ വിസ്മരിച്ച് തള്ളപ്പെട്ടവളാകുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ എത്ര നന്നായിരുന്നേനേ

  24. فَنَادَىٰهَا مِن تَحۡتِهَآ أَلَّا تَحۡزَنِي قَدۡ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحۡتَكِ سَرِيّٗا

    24

    But he called her from below her, "Do not grieve; your Lord has provided beneath you a stream

    ഉടനെ അവളുടെ താഴ്ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് (ഒരാള്‍) വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു: നീ വ്യസനിക്കേണ്ട, നിന്‍റെ താഴ്ഭാഗത്ത് ഒരു അരുവി ഉണ്ടാക്കി തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു

  25. وَهُزِّيٓ إِلَيۡكِ بِجِذۡعِ ٱلنَّخۡلَةِ تُسَٰقِطۡ عَلَيۡكِ رُطَبٗا جَنِيّٗا

    25

    And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates

    നീ ഈന്തപ്പനമരം നിന്‍റെ അടുക്കലേക്ക് പിടിച്ചുകുലുക്കിക്കൊള്ളുക. അത് നിനക്ക് പാകമായ ഈന്തപ്പഴം വീഴ്ത്തിത്തരുന്നതാണ്‌

  26. فَكُلِي وَٱشۡرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيۡنٗاۖ فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡبَشَرِ أَحَدٗا فَقُولِيٓ إِنِّي نَذَرۡتُ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ صَوۡمٗا فَلَنۡ أُكَلِّمَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ إِنسِيّٗا

    26

    So eat and drink and be contented. And if you see from among humanity anyone, say, 'Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful abstention, so I will not speak today to [any] man

    അങ്ങനെ നീ തിന്നുകയും കുടിക്കുകയും കണ്ണുകുളിര്‍ത്തിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. ഇനി നീ മനുഷ്യരില്‍ ആരെയെങ്കിലും കാണുന്ന പക്ഷം ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞേക്കുക: പരമകാരുണികന്ന് വേണ്ടി ഞാന്‍ ഒരു വ്രതം നേര്‍ന്നിരിക്കയാണ് അതിനാല്‍ ഇന്നു ഞാന്‍ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനോടും സംസാരിക്കുകയില്ല തന്നെ

  27. فَأَتَتۡ بِهِۦ قَوۡمَهَا تَحۡمِلُهُۥۖ قَالُواْ يَٰمَرۡيَمُ لَقَدۡ جِئۡتِ شَيۡـٔٗا فَرِيّٗا

    27

    Then she brought him to her people, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented

    അനന്തരം അവനെ (കുട്ടിയെ) യും വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവള്‍ തന്‍റെ ആളുകളുടെ അടുത്ത് ചെന്നു. അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: മര്‍യമേ, ആക്ഷേപകരമായ ഒരു കാര്യം തന്നെയാകുന്നു നീ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്‌

  28. يَـٰٓأُخۡتَ هَٰرُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ ٱمۡرَأَ سَوۡءٖ وَمَا كَانَتۡ أُمُّكِ بَغِيّٗا

    28

    O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste

    ഹേ; ഹാറൂന്‍റെ സഹോദരീ, നിന്‍റെ പിതാവ് ഒരു ചീത്ത മനുഷ്യനായിരുന്നില്ല. നിന്‍റെ മാതാവ് ഒരു ദുര്‍നടപടിക്കാരിയുമായിരുന്നില്ല

  29. فَأَشَارَتۡ إِلَيۡهِۖ قَالُواْ كَيۡفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِي ٱلۡمَهۡدِ صَبِيّٗا

    29

    So she pointed to him. They said, "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child

    അപ്പോള്‍ അവള്‍ അവന്‍റെ (കുട്ടിയുടെ) നേരെ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിച്ചു. അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: തൊട്ടിലിലുള്ള ഒരു കുട്ടിയോട് ഞങ്ങള്‍ എങ്ങനെ സംസാരിക്കും

  30. قَالَ إِنِّي عَبۡدُ ٱللَّهِ ءَاتَىٰنِيَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلَنِي نَبِيّٗا

    30

    [Jesus] said, "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet

    അവന്‍ (കുട്ടി) പറഞ്ഞു: ഞാന്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ ദാസനാകുന്നു. അവന്‍ എനിക്ക് വേദഗ്രന്ഥം നല്‍കുകയും എന്നെ അവന്‍ പ്രവാചകനാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

  31. وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيۡنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوۡصَٰنِي بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ مَا دُمۡتُ حَيّٗا

    31

    And He has made me blessed wherever I am and has enjoined upon me prayer and zakah as long as I remain alive

    ഞാന്‍ എവിടെയായിരുന്നാലും എന്നെ അവന്‍ അനുഗൃഹീതനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞാന്‍ ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കാലമത്രയും നമസ്കരിക്കുവാനും സകാത്ത് നല്‍കുവാനും അവന്‍ എന്നോട് അനുശാസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

  32. وَبَرَّۢا بِوَٰلِدَتِي وَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡنِي جَبَّارٗا شَقِيّٗا

    32

    And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant

    (അവന്‍ എന്നെ) എന്‍റെ മാതാവിനോട് നല്ല നിലയില്‍ പെരുമാറുന്നവനും (ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.) അവന്‍ എന്നെ നിഷ്ഠൂരനും ഭാഗ്യം കെട്ടവനുമാക്കിയിട്ടില്ല

  33. وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ عَلَيَّ يَوۡمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوۡمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوۡمَ أُبۡعَثُ حَيّٗا

    33

    And peace is on me the day I was born and the day I will die and the day I am raised alive

    ഞാന്‍ ജനിച്ച ദിവസവും മരിക്കുന്ന ദിവസവും ജീവനോടെ എഴുന്നേല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ദിവസവും എന്‍റെ മേല്‍ ശാന്തി ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും

  34. ذَٰلِكَ عِيسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَۖ قَوۡلَ ٱلۡحَقِّ ٱلَّذِي فِيهِ يَمۡتَرُونَ

    34

    That is Jesus, the son of Mary - the word of truth about which they are in dispute

    അതത്രെ മര്‍യമിന്‍റെ മകനായ ഈസാ അവര്‍ ഏതൊരു വിഷയത്തില്‍ തര്‍ക്കിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ അതിനെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള യഥാര്‍ത്ഥമായ വാക്കത്രെ ഇത്‌

  35. مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٖۖ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥٓۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمۡرٗا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ

    35

    It is not [befitting] for Allah to take a son; exalted is He! When He decrees an affair, He only says to it, "Be," and it is

    ഒരു സന്താനത്തെ സ്വീകരിക്കുക എന്നത് അല്ലാഹുവിന്നുണ്ടാകാവുന്നതല്ല. അവന്‍ എത്ര പരിശുദ്ധന്‍! അവന്‍ ഒരു കാര്യം തീരുമാനിച്ച് കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ അതിനോട് ഉണ്ടാകൂ എന്ന് പറയുക മാത്രംചെയ്യുന്നു. അപ്പോള്‍ അതുണ്ടാകുന്നു

  36. وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ

    36

    [Jesus said], "And indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is a straight path

    (ഈസാ പറഞ്ഞു:) തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു എന്‍റെയും നിങ്ങളുടെയും രക്ഷിതാവാകുന്നു. അതിനാല്‍ അവനെ നിങ്ങള്‍ ആരാധിക്കുക. ഇതത്രെ നേരെയുള്ള മാര്‍ഗം

  37. فَٱخۡتَلَفَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡۖ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن مَّشۡهَدِ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٍ

    37

    Then the factions differed [concerning Jesus] from among them, so woe to those who disbelieved - from the scene of a tremendous Day

    എന്നിട്ട് അവര്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ നിന്ന് കക്ഷികള്‍ ഭിന്നിച്ചുണ്ടായി. അപ്പോള്‍ അവിശ്വസിച്ചവര്‍ക്കത്രെ ഭയങ്കരമായ ഒരു ദിവസത്തിന്‍റെ സാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്താല്‍ വമ്പിച്ച നാശം

  38. أَسۡمِعۡ بِهِمۡ وَأَبۡصِرۡ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتُونَنَا لَٰكِنِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ

    38

    How [clearly] they will hear and see the Day they come to Us, but the wrongdoers today are in clear error

    അവര്‍ നമ്മുടെ അടുത്ത് വരുന്ന ദിവസം അവര്‍ക്ക് എന്തൊരു കേള്‍വിയും കാഴ്ചയുമായിരിക്കും! പക്ഷെ ഇന്ന് ആ അക്രമികള്‍ പ്രത്യക്ഷമായ വഴികേടിലാകുന്നു

  39. وَأَنذِرۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحَسۡرَةِ إِذۡ قُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ وَهُمۡ فِي غَفۡلَةٖ وَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ

    39

    And warn them, [O Muhammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe

    നഷ്ടബോധത്തിന്‍റെ ദിവസത്തെപ്പറ്റി അഥവാ കാര്യം (അന്തിമമായി) തീരുമാനിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സന്ദര്‍ഭത്തെപ്പറ്റി നീ അവര്‍ക്ക് താക്കീത് നല്‍കുക. അവര്‍ അശ്രദ്ധയിലകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുകയാകുന്നു. അവര്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല

  40. إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَرِثُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا وَإِلَيۡنَا يُرۡجَعُونَ

    40

    Indeed, it is We who will inherit the earth and whoever is on it, and to Us they will be returned

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാം തന്നെയാണ് ഭൂമിയുടെയും അതിലുള്ളവയുടെയും അനന്തരാവകാശിയാകുന്നത്‌. നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കലേക്ക് തന്നെയായിരിക്കും അവര്‍ മടക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്‌

  41. وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقٗا نَّبِيًّا

    41

    And mention in the Book [the story of] Abraham. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet

    വേദഗ്രന്ഥത്തില്‍ ഇബ്രാഹീമിനെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള വിവരം നീ പറഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹം സത്യവാനും പ്രവാചകനുമായിരുന്നു

  42. إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعۡبُدُ مَا لَا يَسۡمَعُ وَلَا يُبۡصِرُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي عَنكَ شَيۡـٔٗا

    42

    [Mention] when he said to his father, "O my father, why do you worship that which does not hear and does not see and will not benefit you at all

    അദ്ദേഹം തന്‍റെ പിതാവിനോട് പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്‍ഭം (ശ്രദ്ധേയമാകുന്നു:) എന്‍റെ പിതാവേ, കേള്‍ക്കുകയോ, കാണുകയോ ചെയ്യാത്ത, താങ്കള്‍ക്ക് യാതൊരു ഉപകാരവും ചെയ്യാത്ത വസ്തുവെ താങ്കള്‍ എന്തിന് ആരാധിക്കുന്നു

  43. يَـٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدۡ جَآءَنِي مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَمۡ يَأۡتِكَ فَٱتَّبِعۡنِيٓ أَهۡدِكَ صِرَٰطٗا سَوِيّٗا

    43

    O my father, indeed there has come to me of knowledge that which has not come to you, so follow me; I will guide you to an even path

    എന്‍റെ പിതാവേ, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും താങ്കള്‍ക്ക് വന്നുകിട്ടിയിട്ടില്ലാത്ത അറിവ് എനിക്ക് വന്നുകിട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. ആകയാല്‍ താങ്കള്‍ എന്നെ പിന്തടരൂ. ഞാന്‍ താങ്കള്‍ക്ക് ശരിയായ മാര്‍ഗം കാണിച്ചുതരാം

  44. يَـٰٓأَبَتِ لَا تَعۡبُدِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَۖ إِنَّ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ كَانَ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عَصِيّٗا

    44

    O my father, do not worship Satan. Indeed Satan has ever been, to the Most Merciful, disobedient

    എന്‍റെ പിതാവേ, താങ്കള്‍ പിശാചിനെ ആരാധിക്കരുത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും പിശാച് പരമകാരുണികനോട് അനുസരണമില്ലാത്തവനാകുന്നു

  45. يَـٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٞ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيۡطَٰنِ وَلِيّٗا

    45

    O my father, indeed I fear that there will touch you a punishment from the Most Merciful so you would be to Satan a companion [in Hellfire]

    എന്‍റെ പിതാവേ, തീര്‍ച്ചയായും പരമകാരുണികനില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള വല്ല ശിക്ഷയും താങ്കളെ ബാധിക്കുമെന്ന് ഞാന്‍ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു. അപ്പോള്‍ താങ്കള്‍ പിശാചിന്‍റെ മിത്രമായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌

  46. قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنۡ ءَالِهَتِي يَـٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُۖ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ لَأَرۡجُمَنَّكَۖ وَٱهۡجُرۡنِي مَلِيّٗا

    46

    [His father] said, "Have you no desire for my gods, O Abraham? If you do not desist, I will surely stone you, so avoid me a prolonged time

    അയാള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഹേ; ഇബ്രാഹീം, നീ എന്‍റെ ദൈവങ്ങളെ വേണ്ടെന്ന് വെക്കുകയാണോ? നീ (ഇതില്‍ നിന്ന്‌) വിരമിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കില്‍ ഞാന്‍ നിന്നെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞോടിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും. കുറെ കാലത്തേക്ക് നീ എന്നില്‍ നിന്ന് വിട്ടുമാറിക്കൊള്ളണം

  47. قَالَ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكَۖ سَأَسۡتَغۡفِرُ لَكَ رَبِّيٓۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِي حَفِيّٗا

    47

    [Abraham] said, "Peace will be upon you. I will ask forgiveness for you of my Lord. Indeed, He is ever gracious to me

    അദ്ദേഹം (ഇബ്രാഹീം) പറഞ്ഞു: താങ്കള്‍ക്ക് സലാം. താങ്കള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി ഞാന്‍ എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനോട് പാപമോചനം തേടാം. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവനെന്നോട് ദയയുള്ളവനാകുന്നു

  48. وَأَعۡتَزِلُكُمۡ وَمَا تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَدۡعُواْ رَبِّي عَسَىٰٓ أَلَّآ أَكُونَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّي شَقِيّٗا

    48

    And I will leave you and those you invoke other than Allah and will invoke my Lord. I expect that I will not be in invocation to my Lord unhappy

    നിങ്ങളെയും അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചുവരുന്നവയെയും ഞാന്‍ വെടിയുന്നു. എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനോട് ഞാന്‍ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്നു. എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനോട് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിക്കുന്നത് മൂലം ഞാന്‍ ഭാഗ്യം കെട്ടവനാകാതിരുന്നേക്കാം

  49. فَلَمَّا ٱعۡتَزَلَهُمۡ وَمَا يَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَۖ وَكُلّٗا جَعَلۡنَا نَبِيّٗا

    49

    So when he had left them and those they worshipped other than Allah, We gave him Isaac and Jacob, and each [of them] We made a prophet

    അങ്ങനെ അവരെയും അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ അവര്‍ ആരാധിക്കുന്നവയെയും വെടിഞ്ഞ് അദ്ദേഹം പോയപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നാം ഇഷാഖിനെയും (മകന്‍) യഅ്ഖൂബിനെയും (പൌത്രന്‍) നല്‍കി. അവരെയൊക്കെ നാം പ്രവാചകന്‍മാരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു

  50. وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحۡمَتِنَا وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُمۡ لِسَانَ صِدۡقٍ عَلِيّٗا

    50

    And We gave them of Our mercy, and we made for them a reputation of high honor

    നമ്മുടെ കാരുണ്യത്തില്‍ നിന്നും അവര്‍ക്ക് നാം നല്‍കുകയും, അവര്‍ക്ക് നാം ഉന്നതമായ സല്‍കീര്‍ത്തി ഉണ്ടാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു

  51. وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مُوسَىٰٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مُخۡلَصٗا وَكَانَ رَسُولٗا نَّبِيّٗا

    51

    And mention in the Book, Moses. Indeed, he was chosen, and he was a messenger and a prophet

    വേദഗ്രന്ഥത്തില്‍ മൂസായെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള വിവരവും നീ പറഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹം നിഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ദൂതനും പ്രവാചകനുമായിരുന്നു

  52. وَنَٰدَيۡنَٰهُ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلۡأَيۡمَنِ وَقَرَّبۡنَٰهُ نَجِيّٗا

    52

    And We called him from the side of the mount at [his] right and brought him near, confiding [to him]

    പര്‍വ്വതത്തിന്‍റെ വലതുഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് നാം അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വിളിക്കുകയും, രഹസ്യസംഭാഷണത്തിനായി നാം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് സാമീപ്യം നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്തു

  53. وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥ مِن رَّحۡمَتِنَآ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ نَبِيّٗا

    53

    And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet

    നമ്മുടെ കാരുണ്യത്താല്‍ തന്‍റെ സഹോദരനായ ഹാറൂനിനെ ഒരു പ്രവാചകനായി, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് (സഹായത്തിനായി) നാം നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്തു

  54. وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ إِسۡمَٰعِيلَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صَادِقَ ٱلۡوَعۡدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولٗا نَّبِيّٗا

    54

    And mention in the Book, Ishmael. Indeed, he was true to his promise, and he was a messenger and a prophet

    വേദഗ്രന്ഥത്തില്‍ ഇസ്മാഈലിനെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള വിവരം നീ പറഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹം വാഗ്ദാനം പാലിക്കുന്നവനായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ദൂതനും പ്രവാചകനുമായിരുന്നു

  55. وَكَانَ يَأۡمُرُ أَهۡلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ مَرۡضِيّٗا

    55

    And he used to enjoin on his people prayer and zakah and was to his Lord pleasing

    തന്‍റെ ആളുകളോട് നമസ്കരിക്കുവാനും സകാത്ത് നല്‍കുവാനും അദ്ദേഹം കല്‍പിക്കുമായിരുന്നു. തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ അടുക്കല്‍ അദ്ദേഹം പ്രീതി ലഭിച്ചവനായിരുന്നു

  56. وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ إِدۡرِيسَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقٗا نَّبِيّٗا

    56

    And mention in the Book, Idrees. Indeed, he was a man of truth and a prophet

    വേദഗ്രന്ഥത്തില്‍ ഇദ്‌രീസിനെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള വിവരം നീ പറഞ്ഞുകൊടുക്കുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹം സത്യവാനും പ്രവാചകനുമായിരുന്നു

  57. وَرَفَعۡنَٰهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا

    57

    And We raised him to a high station

    അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നാം ഉന്നതമായ സ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് ഉയര്‍ത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

  58. أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءَادَمَ وَمِمَّنۡ حَمَلۡنَا مَعَ نُوحٖ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ وَمِمَّنۡ هَدَيۡنَا وَٱجۡتَبَيۡنَآۚ إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ خَرُّواْۤ سُجَّدٗاۤ وَبُكِيّٗا۩

    58

    Those were the ones upon whom Allah bestowed favor from among the prophets of the descendants of Adam and of those We carried [in the ship] with Noah, and of the descendants of Abraham and Israel, and of those whom We guided and chose. When the verses of the Most Merciful were recited to them, they fell in prostration and weeping

    അല്ലാഹു അനുഗ്രഹം നല്‍കിയിട്ടുള്ള പ്രവാചകന്‍മാരത്രെ അവര്‍. ആദമിന്‍റെ സന്തതികളില്‍ പെട്ടവരും, നൂഹിനോടൊപ്പെം നാം കപ്പലില്‍ കയറ്റിയവരില്‍പെട്ടവരും ഇബ്രാഹീമിന്‍റെയും ഇസ്രായീലിന്‍റെയും സന്തതികളില്‍ പെട്ടവരും, നാം നേര്‍വഴിയിലാക്കുകയും പ്രത്യേകം തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരില്‍ പെട്ടവരുമത്രെ അവര്‍. പരമകാരുണികന്‍റെ തെളിവുകള്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് വായിച്ചുകേള്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന പക്ഷം പ്രണമിക്കുന്നവരും കരയുന്നവരുമായി ക്കൊണ്ട് അവര്‍ താഴെ വീഴുന്നതാണ്‌

  59. ۞فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ خَلۡفٌ أَضَاعُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَلۡقَوۡنَ غَيًّا

    59

    But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so they are going to meet evil

    എന്നിട്ട് അവര്‍ക്ക് ശേഷം അവരുടെ സ്ഥാനത്ത് ഒരു പിന്‍തലമുറ വന്നു. അവര്‍ നമസ്കാരം പാഴാക്കുകയും തന്നിഷ്ടങ്ങളെ പിന്തുടരുകയും ചെയ്തു. തന്‍മൂലം ദുര്‍മാര്‍ഗത്തിന്‍റെ ഫലം അവര്‍ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതാണ്‌

  60. إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ يَدۡخُلُونَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظۡلَمُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا

    60

    Except those who repent, believe and do righteousness; for those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged at all

    എന്നാല്‍ പശ്ചാത്തപിക്കുകയും, വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും സല്‍കര്‍മ്മം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവര്‍ ഇതില്‍ നിന്നൊഴിവാകുന്നു. അവര്‍ സ്വര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. അവര്‍ ഒട്ടും അനീതിക്ക് വിധേയരാവുകയില്ല

  61. جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنٍ ٱلَّتِي وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ عِبَادَهُۥ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ وَعۡدُهُۥ مَأۡتِيّٗا

    61

    [Therein are] gardens of perpetual residence which the Most Merciful has promised His servants in the unseen. Indeed, His promise has ever been coming

    പരമകാരുണികന്‍ തന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാരോട് അദൃശ്യമായ നിലയില്‍ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള സ്ഥിരവാസത്തിനായുള്ള സ്വര്‍ഗത്തോപ്പുകളില്‍ (അവര്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കും.) തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍റെ വാഗ്ദാനം നടപ്പില്‍ വരുന്നത് തന്നെയാകുന്നു

  62. لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوًا إِلَّا سَلَٰمٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ رِزۡقُهُمۡ فِيهَا بُكۡرَةٗ وَعَشِيّٗا

    62

    They will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon

    സലാം അല്ലാതെ നിരര്‍ത്ഥകമായ യാതൊന്നും അവരവിടെ കേള്‍ക്കുകയില്ല. തങ്ങളുടെ ആഹാരം രാവിലെയും വൈകുന്നേരവും അവര്‍ക്കവിടെ ലഭിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌

  63. تِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِي نُورِثُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا مَن كَانَ تَقِيّٗا

    63

    That is Paradise, which We give as inheritance to those of Our servants who were fearing of Allah

    നമ്മുടെ ദാസന്‍മാരില്‍ നിന്ന് ആര്‍ ധര്‍മ്മനിഷ്ഠപുലര്‍ത്തുന്നവരായിരുന്നുവോ അവര്‍ക്കു നാം അവകാശപ്പെടുത്തികൊടുക്കുന്ന സ്വര്‍ഗമത്രെ അത്‌

  64. وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلَّا بِأَمۡرِ رَبِّكَۖ لَهُۥ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِينَا وَمَا خَلۡفَنَا وَمَا بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَۚ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيّٗا

    64

    [Gabriel said], "And we [angels] descend not except by the order of your Lord. To Him belongs that before us and that behind us and what is in between. And never is your Lord forgetful

    (നബിയോട് ജിബ്‌രീല്‍ പറഞ്ഞു:) താങ്കളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ കല്‍പനപ്രകാരമല്ലാതെ നാം ഇറങ്ങിവരുന്നതല്ല. നമ്മുടെ മുമ്പിലുള്ളതും നമ്മുടെ പിന്നിലുള്ളതും അതിന്നിടയിലുള്ളതും എല്ലാം അവന്‍റെതത്രെ. താങ്കളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവ് മറക്കുന്നവനായിട്ടില്ല

  65. رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فَٱعۡبُدۡهُ وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ لِعِبَٰدَتِهِۦۚ هَلۡ تَعۡلَمُ لَهُۥ سَمِيّٗا

    65

    Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him

    ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും അവയ്ക്കിടയിലുള്ളതിന്‍റെയും രക്ഷിതാവത്രെ അവന്‍. അതിനാല്‍ അവനെ താങ്കള്‍ ആരാധിക്കുകയും അവന്നുള്ള ആരാധനയില്‍ ക്ഷമയോടെ ഉറച്ചുനില്‍ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. അവന്ന് പേരൊത്ത ആരെയെങ്കിലും താങ്കള്‍ക്കറിയാമോ

  66. وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَءِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوۡفَ أُخۡرَجُ حَيًّا

    66

    And the disbeliever says, "When I have died, am I going to be brought forth alive

    മനുഷ്യന്‍ പറയും: ഞാന്‍ മരിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ പിന്നീട് എന്നെ ജീവനുള്ളവനായി പുറത്ത് കൊണ്ട് വരുമോ

  67. أَوَلَا يَذۡكُرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَلَمۡ يَكُ شَيۡـٔٗا

    67

    Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing

    മനുഷ്യന്‍ ഓര്‍മിക്കുന്നില്ലേ; അവന്‍ ഒന്നുമല്ലാതിരുന്ന ഒരു ഘട്ടത്തില്‍ നാമാണ് ആദ്യം അവനെ പടച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയതെന്ന്‌

  68. فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحۡشُرَنَّهُمۡ وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحۡضِرَنَّهُمۡ حَوۡلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيّٗا

    68

    So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees

    എന്നാല്‍ നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ തന്നെയാണ! അവരെയും പിശാചുക്കളെയും നാം ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും. പിന്നീട് മുട്ടുകുത്തിയവരായിക്കൊണ്ട് നരകത്തിന് ചുറ്റും അവരെ നാം ഹാജരാക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും

  69. ثُمَّ لَنَنزِعَنَّ مِن كُلِّ شِيعَةٍ أَيُّهُمۡ أَشَدُّ عَلَى ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عِتِيّٗا

    69

    Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence

    പിന്നീട് ഓരോ കക്ഷിയില്‍ നിന്നും പരമകാരുണികനോട് ഏറ്റവും കടുത്ത ധിക്കാരം കാണിച്ചിരുന്നവരെ നാം വേര്‍തിരിച്ച് നിര്‍ത്തുന്നതാണ്‌

  70. ثُمَّ لَنَحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ أَوۡلَىٰ بِهَا صِلِيّٗا

    70

    Then, surely it is We who are most knowing of those most worthy of burning therein

    പിന്നീട് അതില്‍ (നരകത്തില്‍) എരിയുവാന്‍ അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ ഏറ്റവും അര്‍ഹതയുള്ളവരെപ്പറ്റി നമുക്ക് നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയാവുന്നതാണ്‌

  71. وَإِن مِّنكُمۡ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَاۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتۡمٗا مَّقۡضِيّٗا

    71

    And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed

    അതിനടുത്ത് (നരകത്തിനടുത്ത്‌) വരാത്തവരായി നിങ്ങളില്‍ ആരും തന്നെയില്ല. നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ ഖണ്ഡിതവും നടപ്പിലാക്കപ്പെടുന്നതുമായ ഒരു തീരുമാനമാകുന്നു അത്‌

  72. ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَواْ وَّنَذَرُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيّٗا

    72

    Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees

    പിന്നീട് ധര്‍മ്മനിഷ്ഠ പാലിച്ചവരെ നാം രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തുകയും, അക്രമികളെ മുട്ടുകുത്തിയവരായിക്കൊണ്ട് നാം അതില്‍ വിട്ടേക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്‌

  73. وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٖ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَيُّ ٱلۡفَرِيقَيۡنِ خَيۡرٞ مَّقَامٗا وَأَحۡسَنُ نَدِيّٗا

    73

    And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association

    സ്പഷ്ടമായ നിലയില്‍ നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് വായിച്ചുകേള്‍പിക്കപ്പെട്ടാല്‍ അവിശ്വസിച്ചവര്‍ വിശ്വസിച്ചവരോട് പറയുന്നതാണ്‌: ഈ രണ്ട് വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ഉത്തമമായ സ്ഥാനമുള്ളവരും ഏറ്റവും മെച്ചപ്പെട്ട സംഘമുള്ളവരും ആരാണ്

  74. وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ أَثَٰثٗا وَرِءۡيٗا

    74

    And how many a generation have We destroyed before them who were better in possessions and [outward] appearance

    സാധനസാമഗ്രികളിലും ബാഹ്യമോടിയിലും കൂടുതല്‍ മെച്ചപ്പെട്ടവരായ എത്ര തലമുറകളെയാണ് ഇവര്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പ് നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്‌

  75. قُلۡ مَن كَانَ فِي ٱلضَّلَٰلَةِ فَلۡيَمۡدُدۡ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ مَدًّاۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوۡاْ مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا ٱلۡعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ هُوَ شَرّٞ مَّكَانٗا وَأَضۡعَفُ جُندٗا

    75

    Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers

    (നബിയേ,) പറയുക: വല്ലവനും ദുര്‍മാര്‍ഗത്തിലായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍ പരമകാരുണികന്‍ അവന്നു അവധി നീട്ടികൊടുക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. അങ്ങനെ തങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്‍കപ്പെടുന്ന കാര്യം അതായത് ഒന്നുകില്‍ ശിക്ഷ, അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അന്ത്യസമയം -അവര്‍ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ അറിഞ്ഞ് കൊള്ളും; കൂടുതല്‍ മോശമായ സ്ഥാനമുള്ളവരും, കുടുതല്‍ ദുര്‍ബലരായ സൈന്യവും ആരാണെന്ന്‌

  76. وَيَزِيدُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱهۡتَدَوۡاْ هُدٗىۗ وَٱلۡبَٰقِيَٰتُ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتُ خَيۡرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابٗا وَخَيۡرٞ مَّرَدًّا

    76

    And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse

    സന്‍മാര്‍ഗം സ്വീകരിച്ചവര്‍ക്ക് അല്ലാഹു സന്‍മാര്‍ഗനിഷ്ഠ വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിച്ച് കൊടുക്കുന്നതാണ്‌. നിലനില്‍ക്കുന്ന സല്‍കര്‍മ്മങ്ങളാണ് നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ ഉത്തമമായ പ്രതിഫലമുള്ളതും ഉത്തമമായ പരിണാമമുള്ളതും

  77. أَفَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي كَفَرَ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَنَّ مَالٗا وَوَلَدًا

    77

    Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]

    എന്നാല്‍ നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളില്‍ അവിശ്വസിക്കുകയും എനിക്ക് സമ്പത്തും സന്താനവും നല്‍കപ്പെടുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും. എന്ന് പറയുകയും ചെയ്തവനെ നീ കണ്ടുവോ

  78. أَطَّلَعَ ٱلۡغَيۡبَ أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عَهۡدٗا

    78

    Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise

    അദൃശ്യകാര്യം അവന്‍ കണ്ടറിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ടോ? അതല്ലെങ്കില്‍ പരമകാരുണികന്‍റെ അടുത്ത് അവന്‍ വല്ല കരാറുമുണ്ടാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ

  79. كَلَّاۚ سَنَكۡتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ مَدّٗا

    79

    No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively

    അല്ല, അവന്‍ പറയുന്നത് നാം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുകയും, അവന്നു ശിക്ഷ കൂട്ടികൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും

  80. وَنَرِثُهُۥ مَا يَقُولُ وَيَأۡتِينَا فَرۡدٗا

    80

    And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone

    അവന്‍ ആ പറയുന്നതിനെല്ലാം (സ്വത്തിനും സന്താനത്തിനുമെല്ലാം) നാമായിരിക്കും അനന്തരാവകാശിയാകുന്നത്‌. അവന്‍ ഏകനായിക്കൊണ്ട് നമ്മുടെ അടുത്ത് വരികയും ചെയ്യും

  81. وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةٗ لِّيَكُونُواْ لَهُمۡ عِزّٗا

    81

    And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor

    അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ അവര്‍ ദൈവങ്ങളെ സ്വീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌. അവര്‍ ഇവര്‍ക്ക് പിന്‍ബലമാകുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി

  82. كَلَّاۚ سَيَكۡفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمۡ وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ضِدًّا

    82

    No! Those "gods" will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]

    അല്ല, ഇവര്‍ ആരാധന നടത്തിയ കാര്യം തന്നെ അവര്‍ നിഷേധിക്കുകയും, അവര്‍ ഇവര്‍ക്ക് എതിരായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്‌

  83. أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمۡ أَزّٗا

    83

    Do you not see that We have sent the devils upon the disbelievers, inciting them to [evil] with [constant] incitement

    സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ നേര്‍ക്ക,് അവരെ ശക്തിയായി ഇളക്കിവിടാന്‍ വേണ്ടി നാം പിശാചുക്കളെ അയച്ചുവിട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണെന്ന് നീ കണ്ടില്ലേ

  84. فَلَا تَعۡجَلۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمۡ عَدّٗا

    84

    So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number

    അതിനാല്‍ അവരുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ നീ തിടുക്കം കാണിക്കേണ്ട. അവര്‍ക്കായി നാം (നാളുകള്‍) എണ്ണി എണ്ണിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുക മാത്രമാകുന്നു

  85. يَوۡمَ نَحۡشُرُ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ وَفۡدٗا

    85

    On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation

    ധര്‍മ്മനിഷ്ഠയുള്ളവരെ വിശിഷ്ടാതിഥികള്‍ എന്ന നിലയില്‍ പരമകാരുണികന്‍റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് നാം വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടുന്ന ദിവസം

  86. وَنَسُوقُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرۡدٗا

    86

    And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst

    കുറ്റവാളികളെ ദാഹാര്‍ത്തരായ നിലയില്‍ നരകത്തിലേക്ക് നാം തെളിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് പോകുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ദിവസം

  87. لَّا يَمۡلِكُونَ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عَهۡدٗا

    87

    None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant

    ആര്‍ക്കും ശുപാര്‍ശ ചെയ്യാന്‍ അധികാരമുണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയില്ല. പരമകാരുണികനുമായി കരാറുണ്ടാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ളവനൊഴികെ

  88. وَقَالُواْ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَلَدٗا

    88

    And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son

    പരമകാരുണികന്‍ ഒരു സന്താനത്തെ സ്വീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു

  89. لَّقَدۡ جِئۡتُمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِدّٗا

    89

    You have done an atrocious thing

    (അപ്രകാരം പറയുന്നവരേ,) തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള്‍ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത് ഗുരുതരമായ ഒരു കാര്യമാകുന്നു

  90. تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرۡنَ مِنۡهُ وَتَنشَقُّ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَتَخِرُّ ٱلۡجِبَالُ هَدًّا

    90

    The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation

    അത് നിമിത്തം ആകാശങ്ങള്‍ പൊട്ടിപ്പിളരുകയും, ഭൂമി വിണ്ടുകീറുകയും, പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങള്‍ തകര്‍ന്ന് വീഴുകയും ചെയ്യുമാറാകും

  91. أَن دَعَوۡاْ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ وَلَدٗا

    91

    That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son

    (അതെ,) പരമകാരുണികന് സന്താനമുണ്ടെന്ന് അവര്‍ വാദിച്ചത് നിമിത്തം

  92. وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا

    92

    And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son

    സന്താനത്തെ സ്വീകരിക്കുക എന്നത് പരമകാരുണികന് അനുയോജ്യമാവുകയില്ല

  93. إِن كُلُّ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَّآ ءَاتِي ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عَبۡدٗا

    93

    There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant

    ആകാശങ്ങളിലും ഭൂമിയിലുമുള്ള ഏതൊരാളും ഒരു ദാസനെന്ന നിലയില്‍ പരമകാരുണികന്‍റെ അടുത്ത് വരുന്നവന്‍ മാത്രമായിരിക്കും

  94. لَّقَدۡ أَحۡصَىٰهُمۡ وَعَدَّهُمۡ عَدّٗا

    94

    He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവരെ അവന്‍ തിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തുകയും എണ്ണികണക്കാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

  95. وَكُلُّهُمۡ ءَاتِيهِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فَرۡدًا

    95

    And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone

    അവരോരോരുത്തരും ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിന്‍റെ നാളില്‍ ഏകാകിയായിക്കൊണ്ട് അവന്‍റെ അടുക്കല്‍ വരുന്നതാണ്‌

  96. إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ سَيَجۡعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وُدّٗا

    96

    Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection

    വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും സല്‍കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരാരോ അവര്‍ക്ക് പരമകാരുണികന്‍ സ്നേഹമുണ്ടാക്കികൊടുക്കുന്നതാണ്‌; തീര്‍ച്ച

  97. فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرۡنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ قَوۡمٗا لُّدّٗا

    97

    So, [O Muhammad], We have only made Qur'an easy in the Arabic language that you may give good tidings thereby to the righteous and warn thereby a hostile people

    ഇത് (ഖുര്‍ആന്‍) നിന്‍റെ ഭാഷയില്‍ നാം ലളിതമാക്കിതന്നിരിക്കുന്നത് ധര്‍മ്മനിഷ്ഠയുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് ഇത് മുഖേന നീ സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത നല്‍കുവാനും, മര്‍ക്കടമുഷ്ടിക്കാരായ ആളുകള്‍ക്ക് ഇത് മുഖേന നീ താക്കീത് നല്‍കുവാനും വേണ്ടി മാത്രമാകുന്നു

  98. وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هَلۡ تُحِسُّ مِنۡهُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ أَوۡ تَسۡمَعُ لَهُمۡ رِكۡزَۢا

    98

    And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound

    ഇവര്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പ് എത്ര തലമുറകളെ നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. അവരില്‍ നിന്ന് ആരെയെങ്കിലും നീ കാണുന്നുണ്ടോ? അഥവാ അവരുടെ നേരിയ ശബ്ദമെങ്കിലും നീ കേള്‍ക്കുന്നുണ്ടോ
