بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
الٓرۚ تِلۡكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ
1Alif, Lam, Ra. These are the verses of the clear Book
അലിഫ്-ലാം-റാ. സ്പഷ്ടമായ വേദഗ്രന്ഥത്തിലെ വചനങ്ങളാകുന്നു അവ
إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ قُرۡءَٰنًا عَرَبِيّٗا لَّعَلَّكُمۡ تَعۡقِلُونَ
2Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur'an that you might understand
നിങ്ങള് ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടി അത് അറബിഭാഷയില് വായിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു പ്രമാണമായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു
نَحۡنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيۡكَ أَحۡسَنَ ٱلۡقَصَصِ بِمَآ أَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡكَ هَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ وَإِن كُنتَ مِن قَبۡلِهِۦ لَمِنَ ٱلۡغَٰفِلِينَ
3We relate to you, [O Muhammad], the best of stories in what We have revealed to you of this Qur'an although you were, before it, among the unaware
നിനക്ക് ഈ ഖുര്ആന് ബോധനം നല്കിയത് വഴി ഏറ്റവും നല്ല ചരിത്രവിവരണമാണ് നാം നിനക്ക് നല്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഇതിനുമുമ്പ് നീ അതിനെപ്പറ്റി ബോധമില്ലാത്തവനായിരുന്നു
إِذۡ قَالَ يُوسُفُ لِأَبِيهِ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّي رَأَيۡتُ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ كَوۡكَبٗا وَٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ رَأَيۡتُهُمۡ لِي سَٰجِدِينَ
4[Of these stories mention] when Joseph said to his father, "O my father, indeed I have seen [in a dream] eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating to me
തന്റെ പിതാവിനോട് പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്ഭം: എന്റെ പിതാവേ, പതിനൊന്നു നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളും സൂര്യനും ചന്ദ്രനും എനിക്ക് സാഷ്ടാംഗം ചെയ്യുന്നതായി ഞാന് സ്വപ്നം കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു
قَالَ يَٰبُنَيَّ لَا تَقۡصُصۡ رُءۡيَاكَ عَلَىٰٓ إِخۡوَتِكَ فَيَكِيدُواْ لَكَ كَيۡدًاۖ إِنَّ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ عَدُوّٞ مُّبِينٞ
5He said, "O my son, do not relate your vision to your brothers or they will contrive against you a plan. Indeed Satan, to man, is a manifest enemy
അദ്ദേഹം (പിതാവ്) പറഞ്ഞു: എന്റെ കുഞ്ഞുമകനേ, നിന്റെ സ്വപ്നം നീ നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര്ക്ക് വിവരിച്ചുകൊടുക്കരുത്. അവര് നിനക്കെതിരെ വല്ല തന്ത്രവും പ്രയോഗിച്ചേക്കും. തീര്ച്ചയായും പിശാച് മനുഷ്യന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷ ശത്രുവാകുന്നു
وَكَذَٰلِكَ يَجۡتَبِيكَ رَبُّكَ وَيُعَلِّمُكَ مِن تَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحَادِيثِ وَيُتِمُّ نِعۡمَتَهُۥ عَلَيۡكَ وَعَلَىٰٓ ءَالِ يَعۡقُوبَ كَمَآ أَتَمَّهَا عَلَىٰٓ أَبَوَيۡكَ مِن قَبۡلُ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٞ
6And thus will your Lord choose you and teach you the interpretation of narratives and complete His favor upon you and upon the family of Jacob, as He completed it upon your fathers before, Abraham and Isaac. Indeed, your Lord is Knowing and Wise
അപ്രകാരം നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് നിന്നെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും, സ്വപ്നവാര്ത്തകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനത്തില് നിന്ന് നിനക്കവന് പഠിപ്പിച്ചുതരികയും, നിന്റെ മേലും യഅ്ഖൂബ് കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ മേലും അവന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങള് അവന് നിറവേറ്റുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്. മുമ്പ് നിന്റെ രണ്ട് പിതാക്കളായ ഇബ്രാഹീമിന്റെയും ഇഷാഖിന്റെയും കാര്യത്തില് അതവന് നിറവേറ്റിയത് പോലെത്തന്നെ. തീര്ച്ചയായും നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് സര്വ്വജ്ഞനും യുക്തിമാനുമാകുന്നു
۞لَّقَدۡ كَانَ فِي يُوسُفَ وَإِخۡوَتِهِۦٓ ءَايَٰتٞ لِّلسَّآئِلِينَ
7Certainly were there in Joseph and his brothers signs for those who ask
തീര്ച്ചയായും യൂസുഫിലും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരിലും ചോദിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് പല ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുമുണ്ട്
إِذۡ قَالُواْ لَيُوسُفُ وَأَخُوهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَبِينَا مِنَّا وَنَحۡنُ عُصۡبَةٌ إِنَّ أَبَانَا لَفِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٍ
8When they said, "Joseph and his brother are more beloved to our father than we, while we are a clan. Indeed, our father is in clear error
യൂസുഫും അവന്റെ സഹോദരനുമാണ് നമ്മുടെ പിതാവിന് നമ്മളെക്കാള് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടവര്. നമ്മളാകട്ടെ ഒരു (പ്രബലമായ) സംഘമാണ് താനും. തീര്ച്ചയായും നമ്മുടെ പിതാവ് വ്യക്തമായ വഴിപിഴവില് തന്നെയാണ്
ٱقۡتُلُواْ يُوسُفَ أَوِ ٱطۡرَحُوهُ أَرۡضٗا يَخۡلُ لَكُمۡ وَجۡهُ أَبِيكُمۡ وَتَكُونُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ قَوۡمٗا صَٰلِحِينَ
9Kill Joseph or cast him out to [another] land; the countenance of your father will [then] be only for you, and you will be after that a righteous people
നിങ്ങള് യൂസുഫിനെ കൊന്നുകളയുക. അല്ലെങ്കില് വല്ല ഭൂപ്രദേശത്തും അവനെ (കൊണ്ടുപോയി) ഇട്ടേക്കുക. എങ്കില് നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ മുഖം നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഒഴിഞ്ഞ് കിട്ടും. അതിന് ശേഷം നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് നല്ല ആളുകളായികഴിയുകയും ചെയ്യാം. എന്ന് അവര് പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്ഭം (ശ്രദ്ധേയമത്രെ)
قَالَ قَآئِلٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ لَا تَقۡتُلُواْ يُوسُفَ وَأَلۡقُوهُ فِي غَيَٰبَتِ ٱلۡجُبِّ يَلۡتَقِطۡهُ بَعۡضُ ٱلسَّيَّارَةِ إِن كُنتُمۡ فَٰعِلِينَ
10Said a speaker among them, "Do not kill Joseph but throw him into the bottom of the well; some travelers will pick him up - if you would do [something]
അവരില് നിന്ന് ഒരു വക്താവ് പറഞ്ഞു: യൂസുഫിനെ നിങ്ങള് കൊല്ലരുത്. നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് വല്ലതും ചെയ്യണമെന്നുണ്ടെങ്കില് അവനെ നിങ്ങള് (ഒരു) കിണറ്റിന്റെ അടിയിലേക്ക് ഇട്ടേക്കുക. ഏതെങ്കിലും യാത്രാസംഘം അവനെ കണ്ടെടുത്ത് കൊള്ളും
قَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَبَانَا مَا لَكَ لَا تَأۡمَ۬نَّا عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَنَٰصِحُونَ
11They said, "O our father, why do you not entrust us with Joseph while indeed, we are to him sincere counselors
(തുടര്ന്ന് പിതാവിന്റെ അടുത്ത് ചെന്ന്) അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവേ: താങ്കള്ക്കെന്തുപറ്റി? യൂസുഫിന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് താങ്കള് ഞങ്ങളെ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ല! ഞങ്ങളാകട്ടെ തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന്റെ ഗുണകാംക്ഷികളാണ് താനും
أَرۡسِلۡهُ مَعَنَا غَدٗا يَرۡتَعۡ وَيَلۡعَبۡ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ
12Send him with us tomorrow that he may eat well and play. And indeed, we will be his guardians
നാളെ അവനെ ഞങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം അയച്ചുതരിക. അവന് ഉല്ലസിച്ച് നടന്നുകളിക്കട്ടെ. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് അവനെ കാത്തുരക്ഷിച്ച് കൊള്ളാം
قَالَ إِنِّي لَيَحۡزُنُنِيٓ أَن تَذۡهَبُواْ بِهِۦ وَأَخَافُ أَن يَأۡكُلَهُ ٱلذِّئۡبُ وَأَنتُمۡ عَنۡهُ غَٰفِلُونَ
13[Jacob] said, "Indeed, it saddens me that you should take him, and I fear that a wolf would eat him while you are of him unaware
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള് അവനെ കൊണ്ടുപോകുക എന്നത് തീര്ച്ചയായും എനിക്ക് സങ്കടമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നതാണ്. നിങ്ങള് അവനെപ്പറ്റി അശ്രദ്ധരായിരിക്കെ അവനെ ചെന്നായ തിന്നേക്കുമെന്ന് ഞാന് ഭയപ്പെടുന്നു
قَالُواْ لَئِنۡ أَكَلَهُ ٱلذِّئۡبُ وَنَحۡنُ عُصۡبَةٌ إِنَّآ إِذٗا لَّخَٰسِرُونَ
14They said, "If a wolf should eat him while we are a [strong] clan, indeed, we would then be losers
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങള് ഒരു (പ്രബലമായ) സംഘമുണ്ടായിട്ടും അവനെ ചെന്നായ തിന്നുകയാണെങ്കില് തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് മഹാനഷ്ടക്കാര് തന്നെയായിരിക്കും
فَلَمَّا ذَهَبُواْ بِهِۦ وَأَجۡمَعُوٓاْ أَن يَجۡعَلُوهُ فِي غَيَٰبَتِ ٱلۡجُبِّۚ وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِ لَتُنَبِّئَنَّهُم بِأَمۡرِهِمۡ هَٰذَا وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
15So when they took him [out] and agreed to put him into the bottom of the well... But We inspired to him, "You will surely inform them [someday] about this affair of theirs while they do not perceive [your identity]
അങ്ങനെ അവര് അവനെ (യൂസുഫിനെ) യും കൊണ്ടുപോകുകയും, അവനെ കിണറ്റിന്റെ അടിയിലേക്ക് ഇടുവാന് അവര് ഒന്നിച്ച് തീരുമാനിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോള് (അവര് ആ കടും കൈ പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്തു.) തീര്ച്ചയായും നീ അവര്ക്ക് അവരുടെ ഈ ചെയ്തിയെപ്പറ്റി (ഒരിക്കല്) വിവരിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുമെന്ന് അവന്ന് (യൂസുഫിന്) നാം ബോധനം നല്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. (അന്ന്) അവര് അതിനെപറ്റി ബോധവാന്മാരായിരിക്കുകയില്ല
وَجَآءُوٓ أَبَاهُمۡ عِشَآءٗ يَبۡكُونَ
16And they came to their father at night, weeping
അവര് സന്ധ്യാസമയത്ത് അവരുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കരഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് ചെന്നു
قَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَبَانَآ إِنَّا ذَهَبۡنَا نَسۡتَبِقُ وَتَرَكۡنَا يُوسُفَ عِندَ مَتَٰعِنَا فَأَكَلَهُ ٱلذِّئۡبُۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُؤۡمِنٖ لَّنَا وَلَوۡ كُنَّا صَٰدِقِينَ
17They said, "O our father, indeed we went racing each other and left Joseph with our possessions, and a wolf ate him. But you would not believe us, even if we were truthful
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവേ, ഞങ്ങള് മത്സരിച്ച് ഓടിപ്പോകുകയും, യൂസുഫിനെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ സാധനങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത് വിട്ടുപോകുകയും ചെയ്തു. അപ്പോള് അവനെ ചെന്നായ തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു. ഞങ്ങള് സത്യം പറയുന്നവരാണെങ്കില്പോലും താങ്കള് വിശ്വസിക്കുകയില്ലല്ലോ
وَجَآءُو عَلَىٰ قَمِيصِهِۦ بِدَمٖ كَذِبٖۚ قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَكُمۡ أَنفُسُكُمۡ أَمۡرٗاۖ فَصَبۡرٞ جَمِيلٞۖ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُسۡتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ
18And they brought upon his shirt false blood. [Jacob] said, "Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. And Allah is the one sought for help against that which you describe
യൂസുഫിന്റെ കുപ്പായത്തില് കള്ളച്ചോരയുമായാണ് അവര് വന്നത്. പിതാവ് പറഞ്ഞു: അങ്ങനെയല്ല, നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സ് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഒരു കാര്യം ഭംഗിയായി തോന്നിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. അതിനാല് നല്ല ക്ഷമ കൈക്കൊള്ളുക തന്നെ. നിങ്ങളീ പറഞ്ഞുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തില് (എനിക്ക്) സഹായം തേടാനുള്ളത് അല്ലാഹുവോടത്രെ
وَجَآءَتۡ سَيَّارَةٞ فَأَرۡسَلُواْ وَارِدَهُمۡ فَأَدۡلَىٰ دَلۡوَهُۥۖ قَالَ يَٰبُشۡرَىٰ هَٰذَا غُلَٰمٞۚ وَأَسَرُّوهُ بِضَٰعَةٗۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ
19And there came a company of travelers; then they sent their water drawer, and he let down his bucket. He said, "Good news! Here is a boy." And they concealed him, [taking him] as merchandise; and Allah was knowing of what they did
ഒരു യാത്രാസംഘം വന്നു. അവര് അവര്ക്ക് വെള്ളം കൊണ്ട് വരുന്ന ജോലിക്കാരനെ അയച്ചു. അവന് തന്നെ തൊട്ടിയിറക്കി. അവന് പറഞ്ഞു: ഹാ, സന്തോഷം! ഇതാ ഒരു ബാലന്! അവര് ബാലനെ ഒരു കച്ചവടച്ചരക്കായി ഒളിച്ചുവെച്ചു. അവര് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിരുന്നതിനെ പറ്റി അല്ലാഹു നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു
وَشَرَوۡهُ بِثَمَنِۭ بَخۡسٖ دَرَٰهِمَ مَعۡدُودَةٖ وَكَانُواْ فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلزَّـٰهِدِينَ
20And they sold him for a reduced price - a few dirhams - and they were, concerning him, of those content with little
അവര് അവനെ തുച്ഛമായ ഒരു വിലയ്ക്ക്- ഏതാനും വെള്ളിക്കാശിന് - വില്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. അവര് അവന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് താല്പര്യമില്ലാത്തവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായിരുന്നു
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِي ٱشۡتَرَىٰهُ مِن مِّصۡرَ لِٱمۡرَأَتِهِۦٓ أَكۡرِمِي مَثۡوَىٰهُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَنَآ أَوۡ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدٗاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُۥ مِن تَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحَادِيثِۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَمۡرِهِۦ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
21And the one from Egypt who bought him said to his wife, "Make his residence comfortable. Perhaps he will benefit us, or we will adopt him as a son." And thus, We established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah is predominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know
ഈജിപ്തില് നിന്ന് അവനെ (യൂസുഫിനെ) വിലക്കെടുത്ത ആള് തന്റെ ഭാര്യയോട് പറഞ്ഞു: ഇവന്ന് മാന്യമായ താമസസൌകര്യം നല്കുക. അവന് നമുക്ക് പ്രയോജനപ്പെട്ടേക്കാം. അല്ലെങ്കില് നമുക്കവനെ മകനായി സ്വീകരിക്കാം. അപ്രകാരം യൂസുഫിന് നാം ആ ഭൂപ്രദേശത്ത് സൌകര്യമുണ്ടാക്കികൊടുത്തു. സ്വപ്നവാര്ത്തകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനത്തില് നിന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നാം അറിയിച്ച് കൊടുക്കാന് വേണ്ടിയും കൂടിയാണത്. അല്ലാഹു തന്റെ കാര്യം ജയിച്ചടക്കുന്നവനത്രെ. പക്ഷെ മനുഷ്യരില് അധികപേരും അത് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല
وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ أَشُدَّهُۥٓ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ حُكۡمٗا وَعِلۡمٗاۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
22And when Joseph reached maturity, We gave him judgment and knowledge. And thus We reward the doers of good
അങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹം പൂര്ണ്ണവളര്ച്ചയെത്തിയപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നാം യുക്തിബോധവും അറിവും നല്കി. സുകൃതം ചെയ്യുന്നവര്ക്ക് അപ്രകാരം നാം പ്രതിഫലം നല്കുന്നു
وَرَٰوَدَتۡهُ ٱلَّتِي هُوَ فِي بَيۡتِهَا عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦ وَغَلَّقَتِ ٱلۡأَبۡوَٰبَ وَقَالَتۡ هَيۡتَ لَكَۚ قَالَ مَعَاذَ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّهُۥ رَبِّيٓ أَحۡسَنَ مَثۡوَايَۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
23And she, in whose house he was, sought to seduce him. She closed the doors and said, "Come, you." He said, "[I seek] the refuge of Allah. Indeed, he is my master, who has made good my residence. Indeed, wrongdoers will not succeed
അവന് (യൂസുഫ്) ഏതൊരുവളുടെ വീട്ടിലാണോ അവള് അവനെ വശീകരിക്കുവാന് ശ്രമം നടത്തി. വാതിലുകള് അടച്ച് പൂട്ടിയിട്ട് അവള് പറഞ്ഞു: ഇങ്ങോട്ട് വാ. അവന് പറഞ്ഞു. അല്ലാഹുവില് ശരണം! നിശ്ചയമായും അവനാണ് എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ്. അവന് എന്റെ താമസം ക്ഷേമകരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അക്രമം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവര് വിജയിക്കുകയില്ല
وَلَقَدۡ هَمَّتۡ بِهِۦۖ وَهَمَّ بِهَا لَوۡلَآ أَن رَّءَا بُرۡهَٰنَ رَبِّهِۦۚ كَذَٰلِكَ لِنَصۡرِفَ عَنۡهُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَٱلۡفَحۡشَآءَۚ إِنَّهُۥ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا ٱلۡمُخۡلَصِينَ
24And she certainly determined [to seduce] him, and he would have inclined to her had he not seen the proof of his Lord. And thus [it was] that We should avert from him evil and immorality. Indeed, he was of Our chosen servants
അവള്ക്ക് അവനില് ആഗ്രഹം ജനിച്ചു. തന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ പ്രമാണം കണ്ടറിഞ്ഞില്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കില് അവന്ന് അവളിലും ആഗ്രഹം ജനിച്ചേനെ. അപ്രകാരം (സംഭവിച്ചത്) തിന്മയും നീചവൃത്തിയും അവനില് നിന്ന് നാം തിരിച്ചുവിടുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടിയത്രെ. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് നമ്മുടെ നിഷ്കളങ്കരായ ദാസന്മാരില് പെട്ടവനാകുന്നു
وَٱسۡتَبَقَا ٱلۡبَابَ وَقَدَّتۡ قَمِيصَهُۥ مِن دُبُرٖ وَأَلۡفَيَا سَيِّدَهَا لَدَا ٱلۡبَابِۚ قَالَتۡ مَا جَزَآءُ مَنۡ أَرَادَ بِأَهۡلِكَ سُوٓءًا إِلَّآ أَن يُسۡجَنَ أَوۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
25And they both raced to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back, and they found her husband at the door. She said, "What is the recompense of one who intended evil for your wife but that he be imprisoned or a painful punishment
അവര് രണ്ടുപേരും വാതില്ക്കലേക്ക് മത്സരിച്ചോടി. അവള് പിന്നില് നിന്ന് അവന്റെ കുപ്പായം (പിടിച്ചു. അത്) കീറി. അവര് ഇരുവരും വാതില്ക്കല് വെച്ച് അവളുടെ നാഥനെ (ഭര്ത്താവിനെ) കണ്ടുമുട്ടി. അവള് പറഞ്ഞു: താങ്കളുടെ ഭാര്യയുടെ കാര്യത്തില് ദുരുദ്ദേശം പുലര്ത്തിയവനുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം അവന് തടവിലാക്കപ്പെടുക എന്നതോ, വേദനയേറിയ മറ്റെന്തെങ്കിലും ശിക്ഷയോ തന്നെ ആയിരിക്കണം
قَالَ هِيَ رَٰوَدَتۡنِي عَن نَّفۡسِيۚ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٞ مِّنۡ أَهۡلِهَآ إِن كَانَ قَمِيصُهُۥ قُدَّ مِن قُبُلٖ فَصَدَقَتۡ وَهُوَ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ
26[Joseph] said, "It was she who sought to seduce me." And a witness from her family testified. "If his shirt is torn from the front, then she has told the truth, and he is of the liars
യൂസുഫ് പറഞ്ഞു: അവളാണ് എന്നെ വശീകരിക്കുവാന് ശ്രമം നടത്തിയത്. അവളുടെ കുടുംബത്തില് പെട്ട ഒരു സാക്ഷി ഇപ്രകാരം സാക്ഷ്യപ്പെടുത്തി: അവന്റെ കുപ്പായം മുന്നില് നിന്നാണ് കീറിയിട്ടുള്ളതെങ്കില് അവള് സത്യമാണ് പറഞ്ഞത്. അവനാകട്ടെ കളവ് പറയുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാണ്
وَإِن كَانَ قَمِيصُهُۥ قُدَّ مِن دُبُرٖ فَكَذَبَتۡ وَهُوَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
27But if his shirt is torn from the back, then she has lied, and he is of the truthful
എന്നാല് അവന്റെ കുപ്പായം പിന്നില് നിന്നാണ് കീറിയിട്ടുള്ളതെങ്കില് അവള് കളവാണ് പറഞ്ഞത്. അവനാകട്ടെ സത്യം പറഞ്ഞവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാണ്
فَلَمَّا رَءَا قَمِيصَهُۥ قُدَّ مِن دُبُرٖ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ مِن كَيۡدِكُنَّۖ إِنَّ كَيۡدَكُنَّ عَظِيمٞ
28So when her husband saw his shirt torn from the back, he said, "Indeed, it is of the women's plan. Indeed, your plan is great
അങ്ങനെ അവന്റെ (യൂസുഫിന്റെ) കുപ്പായം പിന്നില് നിന്നാണ് കീറിയിട്ടുള്ളത് എന്ന് കണ്ടപ്പോള് അയാള് (ഗൃഹനാഥന്-തന്റെ ഭാര്യയോട്) പറഞ്ഞു: തീര്ച്ചയായും ഇത് നിങ്ങളുടെ (സ്ത്രീകളുടെ) തന്ത്രത്തില് പെട്ടതാണ്. നിങ്ങളുടെ തന്ത്രം ഭയങ്കരം തന്നെ
يُوسُفُ أَعۡرِضۡ عَنۡ هَٰذَاۚ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرِي لِذَنۢبِكِۖ إِنَّكِ كُنتِ مِنَ ٱلۡخَاطِـِٔينَ
29Joseph, ignore this. And, [my wife], ask forgiveness for your sin. Indeed, you were of the sinful
യൂസുഫേ നീ ഇത് അവഗണിച്ചേക്കുക. (പെണ്ണേ,) നീ നിന്റെ പാപത്തിന് മാപ്പുതേടുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും നീ പിഴച്ചവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാകുന്നു
۞وَقَالَ نِسۡوَةٞ فِي ٱلۡمَدِينَةِ ٱمۡرَأَتُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ تُرَٰوِدُ فَتَىٰهَا عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦۖ قَدۡ شَغَفَهَا حُبًّاۖ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰهَا فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ
30And women in the city said, "The wife of al-'Azeez is seeking to seduce her slave boy; he has impassioned her with love. Indeed, we see her [to be] in clear error
നഗരത്തിലെ ചില സ്ത്രീകള് പറഞ്ഞു: പ്രഭുവിന്റെ ഭാര്യ തന്റെ വേലക്കാരനെ വശീകരിക്കാന് ശ്രമിക്കുന്നു. അവള് അവനോട് പ്രേമബദ്ധയായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവള് വ്യക്തമായ പിഴവില് അകപ്പെട്ടതായി ഞങ്ങള് കാണുന്നു
فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتۡ بِمَكۡرِهِنَّ أَرۡسَلَتۡ إِلَيۡهِنَّ وَأَعۡتَدَتۡ لَهُنَّ مُتَّكَـٔٗا وَءَاتَتۡ كُلَّ وَٰحِدَةٖ مِّنۡهُنَّ سِكِّينٗا وَقَالَتِ ٱخۡرُجۡ عَلَيۡهِنَّۖ فَلَمَّا رَأَيۡنَهُۥٓ أَكۡبَرۡنَهُۥ وَقَطَّعۡنَ أَيۡدِيَهُنَّ وَقُلۡنَ حَٰشَ لِلَّهِ مَا هَٰذَا بَشَرًا إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا مَلَكٞ كَرِيمٞ
31So when she heard of their scheming, she sent for them and prepared for them a banquet and gave each one of them a knife and said [to Joseph], "Come out before them." And when they saw him, they greatly admired him and cut their hands and said, "Perfect is Allah! This is not a man; this is none but a noble angel
അങ്ങനെ ആ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ കുസൃതിയെപ്പറ്റി അവള് കേട്ടറിഞ്ഞപ്പോള് അവരുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് അവള് ആളെ അയക്കുകയും അവര്ക്ക് ചാരിയിരിക്കാവുന്ന ഇരിപ്പിടങ്ങളൊരുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. അവരില് ഓരോരുത്തര്ക്കും (പഴങ്ങള് മുറിക്കാന്) അവള് ഓരോ കത്തി കൊടുത്തു. (യൂസുഫിനോട്) അവള് പറഞ്ഞു: നീ അവരുടെ മുമ്പിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെടുക. അങ്ങനെ അവനെ അവര് കണ്ടപ്പോള് അവര്ക്ക് അവനെപ്പറ്റി വിസ്മയം തോന്നുകയും, അവരുടെ സ്വന്തം കൈകള് അവര് തന്നെ അറുത്ത് പോകുകയും ചെയ്തു. അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹു എത്ര പരിശുദ്ധന്! ഇതൊരു മനുഷ്യനല്ല. ആദരണീയനായ ഒരു മലക്ക് തന്നെയാണ്
قَالَتۡ فَذَٰلِكُنَّ ٱلَّذِي لُمۡتُنَّنِي فِيهِۖ وَلَقَدۡ رَٰوَدتُّهُۥ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦ فَٱسۡتَعۡصَمَۖ وَلَئِن لَّمۡ يَفۡعَلۡ مَآ ءَامُرُهُۥ لَيُسۡجَنَنَّ وَلَيَكُونٗا مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰغِرِينَ
32She said, "That is the one about whom you blamed me. And I certainly sought to seduce him, but he firmly refused; and if he will not do what I order him, he will surely be imprisoned and will be of those debased
അവള് പറഞ്ഞു: എന്നാല് ഏതൊരുവന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് നിങ്ങളെന്നെ ആക്ഷേപിച്ചുവോ അവനാണിത്. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞാന് അവനെ വശീകരിക്കാന് ശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അപ്പോള് അവന് (സ്വയം കളങ്കപ്പെടുത്താതെ) കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്. ഞാനവനോട് കല്പിക്കുന്ന പ്രകാരം അവന് ചെയ്തില്ലെങ്കില് തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് തടവിലാക്കപ്പെടുകയും, നിന്ദ്യരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱلسِّجۡنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا يَدۡعُونَنِيٓ إِلَيۡهِۖ وَإِلَّا تَصۡرِفۡ عَنِّي كَيۡدَهُنَّ أَصۡبُ إِلَيۡهِنَّ وَأَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ
33He said, "My Lord, prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me. And if You do not avert from me their plan, I might incline toward them and [thus] be of the ignorant
അവന് (യൂസുഫ്) പറഞ്ഞു: എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, ഇവര് എന്നെ ഏതൊന്നിലേക്ക് ക്ഷണിക്കുന്നുവോ അതിനെക്കാളും എനിക്ക് കൂടുതല് പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടത് ജയിലാകുന്നു. ഇവരുടെ കുതന്ത്രം എന്നെ വിട്ട് നീ തിരിച്ചുകളയാത്ത പക്ഷം ഞാന് അവരിലേക്ക് ചാഞ്ഞുപോയേക്കും. അങ്ങനെ ഞാന് അവിവേകികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ആയിപോകുകയും ചെയ്യും
فَٱسۡتَجَابَ لَهُۥ رَبُّهُۥ فَصَرَفَ عَنۡهُ كَيۡدَهُنَّۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
34So his Lord responded to him and averted from him their plan. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing
അപ്പോള് അവന്റെ പ്രാര്ത്ഥന തന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് സ്വീകരിക്കുകയും അവരുടെ കുതന്ത്രം അവനില് നിന്ന് അവന് തട്ടിത്തിരിച്ചുകളയുകയും ചെയ്തു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് എല്ലാം കേള്ക്കുന്നവനും കാണുന്നവനുമത്രെ
ثُمَّ بَدَا لَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا رَأَوُاْ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ لَيَسۡجُنُنَّهُۥ حَتَّىٰ حِينٖ
35Then it appeared to them after they had seen the signs that al-'Azeez should surely imprison him for a time
പിന്നീട് തെളിവുകള് കണ്ടറിഞ്ഞതിന് ശേഷവും അവര്ക്ക് തോന്നി; അവനെ ഒരു അവധിവരെ തടവിലാക്കുക തന്നെ വേണമെന്ന്
وَدَخَلَ مَعَهُ ٱلسِّجۡنَ فَتَيَانِۖ قَالَ أَحَدُهُمَآ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰنِيٓ أَعۡصِرُ خَمۡرٗاۖ وَقَالَ ٱلۡأٓخَرُ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰنِيٓ أَحۡمِلُ فَوۡقَ رَأۡسِي خُبۡزٗا تَأۡكُلُ ٱلطَّيۡرُ مِنۡهُۖ نَبِّئۡنَا بِتَأۡوِيلِهِۦٓۖ إِنَّا نَرَىٰكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
36And there entered the prison with him two young men. One of them said, "Indeed, I have seen myself [in a dream] pressing wine." The other said, "Indeed, I have seen myself carrying upon my head [some] bread, from which the birds were eating. Inform us of its interpretation; indeed, we see you to be of those who do good
അവനോടൊപ്പം രണ്ട് യുവാക്കളും ജയിലില് പ്രവേശിച്ചു. അവരില് ഒരാള് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞാന് വീഞ്ഞ് പിഴിഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്നതായി സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നു. മറ്റൊരാള് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞാന് എന്റെ തലയില് റൊട്ടി ചുമക്കുകയും, എന്നിട്ട് അതില് നിന്ന് പറവകള് തിന്നുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതായി ഞാന് സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നു. ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് താങ്കള് അതിന്റെ വ്യാഖ്യാനം വിവരിച്ചുതരൂ. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് താങ്കളെ കാണുന്നത് സദ്വൃത്തരില് ഒരാളായിട്ടാണ്
قَالَ لَا يَأۡتِيكُمَا طَعَامٞ تُرۡزَقَانِهِۦٓ إِلَّا نَبَّأۡتُكُمَا بِتَأۡوِيلِهِۦ قَبۡلَ أَن يَأۡتِيَكُمَاۚ ذَٰلِكُمَا مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِي رَبِّيٓۚ إِنِّي تَرَكۡتُ مِلَّةَ قَوۡمٖ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ
37He said, "You will not receive food that is provided to you except that I will inform you of its interpretation before it comes to you. That is from what my Lord has taught me. Indeed, I have left the religion of a people who do not believe in Allah, and they, in the Hereafter, are disbelievers
അവന് (യൂസുഫ്) പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് (കൊണ്ടുവന്ന്) നല്കപ്പെടാറുള്ള ഭക്ഷണം നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് വന്നെത്തുന്നതിന്റെ മുമ്പായി അതിന്റെ വ്യാഖ്യാനം ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് വിവരിച്ചുതരാതിരിക്കുകയില്ല. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് എനിക്ക് പഠിപ്പിച്ചുതന്നതില് പെട്ടതത്രെ അത്. അല്ലാഹുവില് വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവരും പരലോകത്തെ നിഷേധിക്കുന്നവരുമായിട്ടുള്ളവരുടെ മാര്ഗം തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞാന് ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു
وَٱتَّبَعۡتُ مِلَّةَ ءَابَآءِيٓ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَۚ مَا كَانَ لَنَآ أَن نُّشۡرِكَ بِٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٖۚ ذَٰلِكَ مِن فَضۡلِ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡنَا وَعَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَشۡكُرُونَ
38And I have followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And it was not for us to associate anything with Allah. That is from the favor of Allah upon us and upon the people, but most of the people are not grateful
എന്റെ പിതാക്കളായ ഇബ്രാഹീം, ഇഷാഖ്, യഅ്ഖൂബ് എന്നിവരുടെ മാര്ഗം ഞാന് പിന്തുടര്ന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. അല്ലാഹുവിനോട് യാതൊന്നിനെയും പങ്കുചേര്ക്കുവാന് ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് പാടുള്ളതല്ല. ഞങ്ങള്ക്കും മനുഷ്യര്ക്കും അല്ലാഹു നല്കിയ അനുഗ്രഹത്തില് പെട്ടതത്രെ അത് (സന്മാര്ഗദര്ശനം.) പക്ഷെ മനുഷ്യരില് അധികപേരും നന്ദികാണിക്കുന്നില്ല
يَٰصَٰحِبَيِ ٱلسِّجۡنِ ءَأَرۡبَابٞ مُّتَفَرِّقُونَ خَيۡرٌ أَمِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّارُ
39O [my] two companions of prison, are separate lords better or Allah, the One, the Prevailing
ജയിലിലെ രണ്ട് സുഹൃത്തുക്കളേ, വ്യത്യസ്ത രക്ഷാധികാരികളാണോ ഉത്തമം; അതല്ല, ഏകനും സര്വ്വാധികാരിയുമായ അല്ലാഹുവാണോ
مَا تَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَسۡمَآءٗ سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلۡطَٰنٍۚ إِنِ ٱلۡحُكۡمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ أَمَرَ أَلَّا تَعۡبُدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِيَّاهُۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلۡقَيِّمُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
40You worship not besides Him except [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has sent down no authority. Legislation is not but for Allah. He has commanded that you worship not except Him. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know
അവന്നുപുറമെ നിങ്ങള് ആരാധിക്കുന്നവ നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കളും നാമകരണം ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള ചില നാമങ്ങളല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമല്ല. അവയെപ്പറ്റി അല്ലാഹു യാതൊരു പ്രമാണവും അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. വിധികര്ത്തൃത്വം അല്ലാഹുവിന് മാത്രമാകുന്നു. അവനെയല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങള് ആരാധിക്കരുതെന്ന് അവന് കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. വക്രതയില്ലാത്ത മതം അതത്രെ. പക്ഷെ മനുഷ്യരില് അധികപേരും മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല
يَٰصَٰحِبَيِ ٱلسِّجۡنِ أَمَّآ أَحَدُكُمَا فَيَسۡقِي رَبَّهُۥ خَمۡرٗاۖ وَأَمَّا ٱلۡأٓخَرُ فَيُصۡلَبُ فَتَأۡكُلُ ٱلطَّيۡرُ مِن رَّأۡسِهِۦۚ قُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ ٱلَّذِي فِيهِ تَسۡتَفۡتِيَانِ
41O two companions of prison, as for one of you, he will give drink to his master of wine; but as for the other, he will be crucified, and the birds will eat from his head. The matter has been decreed about which you both inquire
ജയിലിലെ രണ്ട് സുഹൃത്തുക്കളേ, എന്നാല് നിങ്ങളിലൊരുവന് തന്റെ യജമാനന്ന് വീഞ്ഞ് കുടിപ്പിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും. എന്നാല് മറ്റേ ആള് ക്രൂശിക്കപ്പെടും. എന്നിട്ട് അയാളുടെ തലയില് നിന്ന് പറവകള് കൊത്തിത്തിന്നും. ഏതൊരു കാര്യത്തെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങള് ഇരുവരും വിധി ആരായുന്നുവോ ആ കാര്യം തീരുമാനിക്കപ്പെട്ട് കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു
وَقَالَ لِلَّذِي ظَنَّ أَنَّهُۥ نَاجٖ مِّنۡهُمَا ٱذۡكُرۡنِي عِندَ رَبِّكَ فَأَنسَىٰهُ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ ذِكۡرَ رَبِّهِۦ فَلَبِثَ فِي ٱلسِّجۡنِ بِضۡعَ سِنِينَ
42And he said to the one whom he knew would go free, "Mention me before your master." But Satan made him forget the mention [to] his master, and Joseph remained in prison several years
അവര് രണ്ട് പേരില് നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നവനാണ് എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ച ആളോട് അദ്ദേഹം (യൂസുഫ്) പറഞ്ഞു: നിന്റെ യജമാനന്റെ അടുക്കല് നീ എന്നെ പറ്റി പ്രസ്താവിക്കുക. എന്നാല് തന്റെ യജമാനനോട് അത് പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്ന കാര്യം പിശാച് അവനെ മറപ്പിച്ച് കളഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ ഏതാനും കൊല്ലങ്ങള് അദ്ദേഹം (യൂസുഫ്) ജയിലില് താമസിച്ചു
وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ إِنِّيٓ أَرَىٰ سَبۡعَ بَقَرَٰتٖ سِمَانٖ يَأۡكُلُهُنَّ سَبۡعٌ عِجَافٞ وَسَبۡعَ سُنۢبُلَٰتٍ خُضۡرٖ وَأُخَرَ يَابِسَٰتٖۖ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡمَلَأُ أَفۡتُونِي فِي رُءۡيَٰيَ إِن كُنتُمۡ لِلرُّءۡيَا تَعۡبُرُونَ
43And [subsequently] the king said, "Indeed, I have seen [in a dream] seven fat cows being eaten by seven [that were] lean, and seven green spikes [of grain] and others [that were] dry. O eminent ones, explain to me my vision, if you should interpret visions
(ഒരിക്കല്) രാജാവ് പറഞ്ഞു: തടിച്ചുകൊഴുത്ത ഏഴ് പശുക്കളെ ഏഴ് മെലിഞ്ഞ പശുക്കള് തിന്നുന്നതായി ഞാന് സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നു. ഏഴ് പച്ചക്കതിരുകളും, ഏഴ് ഉണങ്ങിയ കതിരുകളും ഞാന് കാണുന്നു. ഹേ, പ്രധാനികളേ, നിങ്ങള് സ്വപ്നത്തിന് വ്യാഖ്യാനം നല്കുന്നവരാണെങ്കില് എന്റെ ഈ സ്വപ്നത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് നിങ്ങളെനിക്ക് വിധി പറഞ്ഞുതരൂ
قَالُوٓاْ أَضۡغَٰثُ أَحۡلَٰمٖۖ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِتَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحۡلَٰمِ بِعَٰلِمِينَ
44They said, "[It is but] a mixture of false dreams, and we are not learned in the interpretation of dreams
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: പലതരം പേക്കിനാവുകള്! ഞങ്ങള് അത്തരം പേക്കിനാവുകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനത്തെപ്പറ്റി അറിവുള്ളവരല്ല
وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِي نَجَا مِنۡهُمَا وَٱدَّكَرَ بَعۡدَ أُمَّةٍ أَنَا۠ أُنَبِّئُكُم بِتَأۡوِيلِهِۦ فَأَرۡسِلُونِ
45But the one who was freed and remembered after a time said, "I will inform you of its interpretation, so send me forth
ആ രണ്ട് പേരില് (യൂസുഫിന്റെ രണ്ട് ജയില് സുഹൃത്തുക്കളില്) നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവന് ഒരു നീണ്ടകാലയളവിന് ശേഷം (യൂസുഫിന്റെ കാര്യം) ഓര്മിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് പറഞ്ഞു: അതിന്റെ വ്യാഖ്യാനത്തെപ്പറ്റി ഞാന് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് വിവരമറിയിച്ചു തരാം. നിങ്ങള് (അതിന്) എന്നെ നിയോഗിച്ചേക്കൂ
يُوسُفُ أَيُّهَا ٱلصِّدِّيقُ أَفۡتِنَا فِي سَبۡعِ بَقَرَٰتٖ سِمَانٖ يَأۡكُلُهُنَّ سَبۡعٌ عِجَافٞ وَسَبۡعِ سُنۢبُلَٰتٍ خُضۡرٖ وَأُخَرَ يَابِسَٰتٖ لَّعَلِّيٓ أَرۡجِعُ إِلَى ٱلنَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَعۡلَمُونَ
46[He said], "Joseph, O man of truth, explain to us about seven fat cows eaten by seven [that were] lean, and seven green spikes [of grain] and others [that were] dry - that I may return to the people; perhaps they will know [about you]
(അവന് യൂസുഫിന്റെ അടുത്ത് ചെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു:) ഹേ, സത്യസന്ധനായ യൂസുഫ്, തടിച്ച് കൊഴുത്ത ഏഴ് പശുക്കളെ ഏഴ് മെലിഞ്ഞ പശുക്കള് തിന്നുന്ന കാര്യത്തിലും ഏഴ് പച്ചക്കതിരുകളുടെയും വേറെ ഏഴ് ഉണങ്ങിയ കതിരുകളുടെയും കാര്യത്തിലും താങ്കള് ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു വിധി പറഞ്ഞുതരണം. ജനങ്ങള് അറിയുവാനായി ആ വിവരവും കൊണ്ട് എനിക്ക് അവരുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് മടങ്ങാമല്ലോ
قَالَ تَزۡرَعُونَ سَبۡعَ سِنِينَ دَأَبٗا فَمَا حَصَدتُّمۡ فَذَرُوهُ فِي سُنۢبُلِهِۦٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا مِّمَّا تَأۡكُلُونَ
47[Joseph] said, "You will plant for seven years consecutively; and what you harvest leave in its spikes, except a little from which you will eat
അദ്ദേഹം (യൂസുഫ്) പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള് ഏഴുകൊല്ലം തുടര്ച്ചയായി കൃഷി ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്. എന്നിട്ട് നിങ്ങള് കൊയ്തെടുത്തതില് നിന്ന് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഭക്ഷിക്കുവാന് അല്പം ഒഴിച്ച് ബാക്കി അതിന്റെ കതിരില് തന്നെ വിട്ടേക്കുക
ثُمَّ يَأۡتِي مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ سَبۡعٞ شِدَادٞ يَأۡكُلۡنَ مَا قَدَّمۡتُمۡ لَهُنَّ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا مِّمَّا تُحۡصِنُونَ
48Then will come after that seven difficult [years] which will consume what you saved for them, except a little from which you will store
പിന്നീടതിന് ശേഷം പ്രയാസകരമായ ഏഴ് വര്ഷം വരും. ആ വര്ഷങ്ങള്, അന്നേക്കായി നിങ്ങള് മുന്കൂട്ടി സൂക്ഷിച്ച് വെച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതിനെയെല്ലാം തിന്നുതീര്ക്കുന്നതാണ്. നിങ്ങള് കാത്തുവെക്കുന്നതില് നിന്ന് അല്പം ഒഴികെ
ثُمَّ يَأۡتِي مِنۢ بَعۡدِ ذَٰلِكَ عَامٞ فِيهِ يُغَاثُ ٱلنَّاسُ وَفِيهِ يَعۡصِرُونَ
49Then will come after that a year in which the people will be given rain and in which they will press [olives and grapes]
പിന്നീടതിന് ശേഷം ഒരു വര്ഷം വരും. അന്ന് ജനങ്ങള്ക്ക് സമൃദ്ധി നല്കപ്പെടുകയും, അന്ന് അവര് (വീഞ്ഞും മറ്റും) പിഴിഞ്ഞെടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും
وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱئۡتُونِي بِهِۦۖ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُ ٱلرَّسُولُ قَالَ ٱرۡجِعۡ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَسۡـَٔلۡهُ مَا بَالُ ٱلنِّسۡوَةِ ٱلَّـٰتِي قَطَّعۡنَ أَيۡدِيَهُنَّۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي بِكَيۡدِهِنَّ عَلِيمٞ
50And the king said, "Bring him to me." But when the messenger came to him, [Joseph] said, "Return to your master and ask him what is the case of the women who cut their hands. Indeed, my Lord is Knowing of their plan
രാജാവ് പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള് യൂസുഫിനെ എന്റെ അടുത്ത് കൊണ്ട് വരൂ. അങ്ങനെ തന്റെ അടുത്ത് ദൂതന് വന്നപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം (യൂസുഫ്) പറഞ്ഞു: നീ നിന്റെ യജമാനന്റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് തിരിച്ചുപോയിട്ട് സ്വന്തം കൈകള് മുറിപ്പെടുത്തിയ ആ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ നിലപാടെന്താണെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് ചോദിച്ച് നോക്കുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് അവരുടെ തന്ത്രത്തെപ്പറ്റി നന്നായി അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു
قَالَ مَا خَطۡبُكُنَّ إِذۡ رَٰوَدتُّنَّ يُوسُفَ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ قُلۡنَ حَٰشَ لِلَّهِ مَا عَلِمۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ مِن سُوٓءٖۚ قَالَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتُ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡـَٰٔنَ حَصۡحَصَ ٱلۡحَقُّ أَنَا۠ رَٰوَدتُّهُۥ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ
51Said [the king to the women], "What was your condition when you sought to seduce Joseph?" They said, "Perfect is Allah! We know about him no evil." The wife of al-'Azeez said, "Now the truth has become evident. It was I who sought to seduce him, and indeed, he is of the truthful
(ആ സ്ത്രീകളെ വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തിയിട്ട്) അദ്ദേഹം (രാജാവ്) ചോദിച്ചു: യൂസുഫിനെ വശീകരിക്കുവാന് നിങ്ങള് ശ്രമം നടത്തിയപ്പോള് നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥിതി എന്തായിരുന്നു? അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹു എത്ര പരിശുദ്ധന്! ഞങ്ങള് യൂസുഫിനെപ്പറ്റി ദോഷകരമായ ഒന്നും മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിട്ടില്ല. പ്രഭുവിന്റെ ഭാര്യ പറഞ്ഞു: ഇപ്പോള് സത്യം വെളിപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞാന് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വശീകരിക്കാന് ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണുണ്ടായത്. തീര്ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹം സത്യവാന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് തന്നെയാകുന്നു
ذَٰلِكَ لِيَعۡلَمَ أَنِّي لَمۡ أَخُنۡهُ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي كَيۡدَ ٱلۡخَآئِنِينَ
52That is so al-'Azeez will know that I did not betray him in [his] absence and that Allah does not guide the plan of betrayers
അത് (ഞാനങ്ങനെ പറയുന്നത്, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ) അസാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തില് ഞാന് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വഞ്ചിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം അറിയുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടിയാകുന്നു. വഞ്ചകന്മാരുടെ തന്ത്രത്തെ അല്ലാഹു ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലെത്തിക്കുകയില്ല എന്നതിനാലുമാകുന്നു
۞وَمَآ أُبَرِّئُ نَفۡسِيٓۚ إِنَّ ٱلنَّفۡسَ لَأَمَّارَةُۢ بِٱلسُّوٓءِ إِلَّا مَا رَحِمَ رَبِّيٓۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ
53And I do not acquit myself. Indeed, the soul is a persistent enjoiner of evil, except those upon which my Lord has mercy. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful
ഞാന് എന്റെ മനസ്സിനെ കുറ്റത്തില് നിന്ന് ഒഴിവാക്കുന്നില്ല. തീര്ച്ചയായും മനസ്സ് ദുഷ്പ്രവൃത്തിക്ക് പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് തന്നെയാകുന്നു. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ കരുണ ലഭിച്ച മനസ്സൊഴികെ. തീര്ച്ചയായും എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും കരുണാനിധിയുമാകുന്നു
وَقَالَ ٱلۡمَلِكُ ٱئۡتُونِي بِهِۦٓ أَسۡتَخۡلِصۡهُ لِنَفۡسِيۖ فَلَمَّا كَلَّمَهُۥ قَالَ إِنَّكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَدَيۡنَا مَكِينٌ أَمِينٞ
54And the king said, "Bring him to me; I will appoint him exclusively for myself." And when he spoke to him, he said, "Indeed, you are today established [in position] and trusted
രാജാവ് പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ എന്റെ അടുത്ത് കൊണ്ട് വരൂ. ഞാന് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ എന്റെ ഒരു പ്രത്യേകക്കാരനായി സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതാണ്. അങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് സംസാരിച്ചപ്പോള് രാജാവ് പറഞ്ഞു: തീര്ച്ചയായും താങ്കള് ഇന്ന് നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കല് സ്ഥാനമുള്ളവനും വിശ്വസ്തനുമാകുന്നു
قَالَ ٱجۡعَلۡنِي عَلَىٰ خَزَآئِنِ ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ إِنِّي حَفِيظٌ عَلِيمٞ
55[Joseph] said, "Appoint me over the storehouses of the land. Indeed, I will be a knowing guardian
അദ്ദേഹം (യൂസുഫ്) പറഞ്ഞു: താങ്കള് എന്നെ ഭൂമിയിലെ ഖജനാവുകളുടെ അധികാരമേല്പിക്കൂ. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞാന് വിവരമുള്ള ഒരു സൂക്ഷിപ്പുകാരനായിരിക്കും
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَتَبَوَّأُ مِنۡهَا حَيۡثُ يَشَآءُۚ نُصِيبُ بِرَحۡمَتِنَا مَن نَّشَآءُۖ وَلَا نُضِيعُ أَجۡرَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
56And thus We established Joseph in the land to settle therein wherever he willed. We touch with Our mercy whom We will, and We do not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good
അപ്രകാരം യൂസുഫിന് ആ ഭൂപ്രദേശത്ത്, അദ്ദേഹം ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നിടത്ത് താമസമുറപ്പിക്കാവുന്ന വിധം നാം സ്വാധീനം നല്കി. നമ്മുടെ കാരുണ്യം നാം ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് നാം അനുഭവിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. സദ്വൃത്തര്ക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം നാം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തിക്കളയുകയില്ല
وَلَأَجۡرُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ خَيۡرٞ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَكَانُواْ يَتَّقُونَ
57And the reward of the Hereafter is better for those who believed and were fearing Allah
വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിക്കുന്നവരായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവര്ക്ക് പരലോകത്തെ പ്രതിഫലമാകുന്നു കൂടുതല് ഉത്തമം
وَجَآءَ إِخۡوَةُ يُوسُفَ فَدَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَعَرَفَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ لَهُۥ مُنكِرُونَ
58And the brothers of Joseph came [seeking food], and they entered upon him; and he recognized them, but he was to them unknown
യൂസുഫിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാര് വന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ അടുത്ത് പ്രവേശിച്ചു. അപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം അവരെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു. അവര് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല
وَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمۡ قَالَ ٱئۡتُونِي بِأَخٖ لَّكُم مِّنۡ أَبِيكُمۡۚ أَلَا تَرَوۡنَ أَنِّيٓ أُوفِي ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَأَنَا۠ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡمُنزِلِينَ
59And when he had furnished them with their supplies, he said, "Bring me a brother of yours from your father. Do not you see that I give full measure and that I am the best of accommodators
അങ്ങനെ അവര്ക്ക് വേണ്ട സാധനങ്ങള് അവര്ക്ക് ഒരുക്കികൊടുത്തപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങളുടെ ബാപ്പയൊത്ത ഒരു സഹോദരന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കുണ്ടല്ലോ. അവനെ നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ അടുത്ത് കൊണ്ട് വരണം. ഞാന് അളവ് തികച്ചുതരുന്നുവെന്നും, ഏറ്റവും നല്ല ആതിഥ്യമാണ് ഞാന് നല്കുന്നത് എന്നും നിങ്ങള് കാണുന്നില്ലേ
فَإِن لَّمۡ تَأۡتُونِي بِهِۦ فَلَا كَيۡلَ لَكُمۡ عِندِي وَلَا تَقۡرَبُونِ
60But if you do not bring him to me, no measure will there be [hereafter] for you from me, nor will you approach me
എന്നാല് അവനെ നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ അടുത്ത് കൊണ്ട് വരുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് നിങ്ങള്ക്കിനി എന്റെ അടുക്കല് നിന്ന് അളന്നുതരുന്നതല്ല. നിങ്ങള് എന്നെ സമീപിക്കേണ്ടതുമില്ല
قَالُواْ سَنُرَٰوِدُ عَنۡهُ أَبَاهُ وَإِنَّا لَفَٰعِلُونَ
61They said, "We will attempt to dissuade his father from [keeping] him, and indeed, we will do [it]
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങള് അവന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് അവന്റെ പിതാവിനോട് ഒരു ശ്രമം നടത്തിനോക്കാം. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങളത് ചെയ്യും
وَقَالَ لِفِتۡيَٰنِهِ ٱجۡعَلُواْ بِضَٰعَتَهُمۡ فِي رِحَالِهِمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَعۡرِفُونَهَآ إِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ
62And [Joseph] said to his servants, "Put their merchandise into their saddlebags so they might recognize it when they have gone back to their people that perhaps they will [again] return
അദ്ദേഹം (യൂസുഫ്) തന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരോട് പറഞ്ഞു: അവര് കൊണ്ട് വന്ന ചരക്കുകള് അവരുടെ ഭാണ്ഡങ്ങളില് തന്നെ നിങ്ങള് വെച്ചേക്കുക. അവര് അവരുടെ കുടുംബത്തില് തിരിച്ചെത്തുമ്പോള് അവരത് മനസ്സിലാക്കിക്കൊള്ളും. അവര് ഒരുവേള മടങ്ങി വന്നേക്കാം
فَلَمَّا رَجَعُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَبِيهِمۡ قَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَبَانَا مُنِعَ مِنَّا ٱلۡكَيۡلُ فَأَرۡسِلۡ مَعَنَآ أَخَانَا نَكۡتَلۡ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ
63So when they returned to their father, they said, "O our father, [further] measure has been denied to us, so send with us our brother [that] we will be given measure. And indeed, we will be his guardians
അങ്ങനെ അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ അടുത്ത് തിരിച്ചെത്തിയപ്പോള് അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവേ, ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് അളന്നുതരുന്നത് മുടക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അത് കൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരനെയും കൂടി താങ്കള് അയച്ചുതരണം. എങ്കില് ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് അളന്നുകിട്ടുന്നതാണ്. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് അവനെ കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും
قَالَ هَلۡ ءَامَنُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ إِلَّا كَمَآ أَمِنتُكُمۡ عَلَىٰٓ أَخِيهِ مِن قَبۡلُ فَٱللَّهُ خَيۡرٌ حَٰفِظٗاۖ وَهُوَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّـٰحِمِينَ
64He said, "Should I entrust you with him except [under coercion] as I entrusted you with his brother before? But Allah is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful
അദ്ദേഹം (പിതാവ്) പറഞ്ഞു: അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് മുമ്പ് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ വിശ്വസിച്ചത് പോലെയല്ലാതെ അവന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് നിങ്ങളെ എനിക്ക് വിശ്വസിക്കാനാകുമോ? എന്നാല് അല്ലാഹുവാണ് നല്ലവണ്ണം കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നവന്. അവന് കരുണയുള്ളവരില് ഏറ്റവും കാരുണികനാകുന്നു
وَلَمَّا فَتَحُواْ مَتَٰعَهُمۡ وَجَدُواْ بِضَٰعَتَهُمۡ رُدَّتۡ إِلَيۡهِمۡۖ قَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَبَانَا مَا نَبۡغِيۖ هَٰذِهِۦ بِضَٰعَتُنَا رُدَّتۡ إِلَيۡنَاۖ وَنَمِيرُ أَهۡلَنَا وَنَحۡفَظُ أَخَانَا وَنَزۡدَادُ كَيۡلَ بَعِيرٖۖ ذَٰلِكَ كَيۡلٞ يَسِيرٞ
65And when they opened their baggage, they found their merchandise returned to them. They said, "O our father, what [more] could we desire? This is our merchandise returned to us. And we will obtain supplies for our family and protect our brother and obtain an increase of a camel's load; that is an easy measurement
അവര് അവരുടെ സാധനങ്ങള് തുറന്നുനോക്കിയപ്പോള് തങ്ങളുടെ ചരക്കുകള് തങ്ങള്ക്ക് തിരിച്ചുനല്കപ്പെട്ടതായി അവര് കണ്ടെത്തി. അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവേ, നമുക്കിനി എന്തുവേണം? നമ്മുടെ ചരക്കുകള് ഇതാ നമുക്ക് തന്നെ തിരിച്ചുനല്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. (മേലിലും) ഞങ്ങള് ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബത്തിന് ആഹാരം കൊണ്ട് വരാം. ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരനെ ഞങ്ങള് കാത്തുകൊള്ളുകയും ചെയ്യാം. ഒരു ഒട്ടകത്തിന് വഹിക്കാവുന്ന അളവ് ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് കൂടുതല് കിട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യും. കുറഞ്ഞ ഒരു അളവാകുന്നു അത്
قَالَ لَنۡ أُرۡسِلَهُۥ مَعَكُمۡ حَتَّىٰ تُؤۡتُونِ مَوۡثِقٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لَتَأۡتُنَّنِي بِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يُحَاطَ بِكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَوۡهُ مَوۡثِقَهُمۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٞ
66[Jacob] said, "Never will I send him with you until you give me a promise by Allah that you will bring him [back] to me, unless you should be surrounded by enemies." And when they had given their promise, he said, "Allah, over what we say, is Witness
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: തീര്ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള് അവനെ എന്റെ അടുക്കല് കൊണ്ട് വന്നുതരുമെന്ന് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പേരില് എനിക്ക് ഉറപ്പ് നല്കുന്നത് വരെ ഞാനവനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കുടെ അയക്കുകയില്ല തന്നെ. നിങ്ങള് (ആപത്തുകളാല്) വലയം ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്നുവെങ്കില് ഒഴികെ. അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ ഉറപ്പ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് അവര് നല്കിയപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹു നാം പറയുന്നതിന് മേല്നോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നവനാകുന്നു
وَقَالَ يَٰبَنِيَّ لَا تَدۡخُلُواْ مِنۢ بَابٖ وَٰحِدٖ وَٱدۡخُلُواْ مِنۡ أَبۡوَٰبٖ مُّتَفَرِّقَةٖۖ وَمَآ أُغۡنِي عَنكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٍۖ إِنِ ٱلۡحُكۡمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِۖ عَلَيۡهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُۖ وَعَلَيۡهِ فَلۡيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُتَوَكِّلُونَ
67And he said, "O my sons, do not enter from one gate but enter from different gates; and I cannot avail you against [the decree of] Allah at all. The decision is only for Allah; upon Him I have relied, and upon Him let those who would rely [indeed] rely
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്റെ മക്കളേ, നിങ്ങള് ഒരേ വാതിലിലൂടെ പ്രവേശിക്കാതെ വ്യത്യസ്ത വാതിലുകളിലൂടെ പ്രവേശിക്കുക. അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല് നിന്നുണ്ടാകുന്ന യാതൊന്നും നിങ്ങളില് നിന്ന് തടുക്കുവാന് എനിക്കാവില്ല. വിധികര്ത്തൃത്വം അല്ലാഹുവിന് മാത്രമാകുന്നു. അവന്റെ മേല് ഞാന് ഭരമേല്പിക്കുന്നു. അവന്റെ മേല് തന്നെയാണ് ഭരമേല്പിക്കുന്നവര് ഭരമേല്പിക്കേണ്ടത്
وَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ أَمَرَهُمۡ أَبُوهُم مَّا كَانَ يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن شَيۡءٍ إِلَّا حَاجَةٗ فِي نَفۡسِ يَعۡقُوبَ قَضَىٰهَاۚ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَذُو عِلۡمٖ لِّمَا عَلَّمۡنَٰهُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
68And when they entered from where their father had ordered them, it did not avail them against Allah at all except [it was] a need within the soul of Jacob, which he satisfied. And indeed, he was a possessor of knowledge because of what We had taught him, but most of the people do not know
അവരുടെ പിതാവ് അവരോട് കല്പിച്ച വിധത്തില് അവര് പ്രവേശിച്ചപ്പോള് അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല് നിന്നുണ്ടാകുന്ന യാതൊന്നും അവരില് നിന്ന് തടുക്കുവാന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല. യഅ്ഖൂബിന്റെ മനസ്സിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഒരു ആവശ്യം അദ്ദേഹം നിറവേറ്റി എന്ന് മാത്രം. നാം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് പഠിപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തിട്ടുള്ളതിനാല് തീര്ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹം അറിവുള്ളവന് തന്നെയാണ്. പക്ഷെ മനുഷ്യരില് അധികപേരും അറിയുന്നില്ല
وَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ ءَاوَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِ أَخَاهُۖ قَالَ إِنِّيٓ أَنَا۠ أَخُوكَ فَلَا تَبۡتَئِسۡ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ
69And when they entered upon Joseph, he took his brother to himself; he said, "Indeed, I am your brother, so do not despair over what they used to do [to me]
അവര് യൂസുഫിന്റെ അടുത്ത് കടന്ന് ചെന്നപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ സഹോദരനെ തന്നിലേക്ക് അടുപ്പിച്ചു. എന്നിട്ട് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞാന് തന്നെയാണ് നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്. ആകയാല് അവര് (മൂത്ത സഹോദരന്മാര്) ചെയ്ത് വരുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി നീ ദുഃഖിക്കേണ്ടതില്ല
فَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمۡ جَعَلَ ٱلسِّقَايَةَ فِي رَحۡلِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ أَيَّتُهَا ٱلۡعِيرُ إِنَّكُمۡ لَسَٰرِقُونَ
70So when he had furnished them with their supplies, he put the [gold measuring] bowl into the bag of his brother. Then an announcer called out, "O caravan, indeed you are thieves
അങ്ങനെ അവര്ക്കുള്ള സാധനങ്ങള് അവര്ക്ക് ഒരുക്കികൊടുത്തപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം (യൂസുഫ്) പാനപാത്രം തന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ ഭാണ്ഡത്തില് വെച്ചു. പിന്നെ ഒരാള് വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു: ഹേ; യാത്രാസംഘമേ, തീര്ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള് മോഷ്ടാക്കള് തന്നെയാണ്
قَالُواْ وَأَقۡبَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِم مَّاذَا تَفۡقِدُونَ
71They said while approaching them, "What is it you are missing
അവരുടെ നേരെ തിരിഞ്ഞ് കൊണ്ട് (യാത്രാസംഘം) പറഞ്ഞു: എന്താണ് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്
قَالُواْ نَفۡقِدُ صُوَاعَ ٱلۡمَلِكِ وَلِمَن جَآءَ بِهِۦ حِمۡلُ بَعِيرٖ وَأَنَا۠ بِهِۦ زَعِيمٞ
72They said, "We are missing the measure of the king. And for he who produces it is [the reward of] a camel's load, and I am responsible for it
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് രാജാവിന്റെ അളവുപാത്രം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അത് കൊണ്ട് വന്ന് തരുന്നവന് ഒരു ഒട്ടകത്തിന് വഹിക്കാവുന്നത് (ധാന്യം) നല്കുന്നതാണ്. ഞാനത് ഏറ്റിരിക്കുന്നു
قَالُواْ تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتُم مَّا جِئۡنَا لِنُفۡسِدَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا كُنَّا سَٰرِقِينَ
73They said, "By Allah, you have certainly known that we did not come to cause corruption in the land, and we have not been thieves
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹുവെ തന്നെയാണ,ഞങ്ങള് നാട്ടില് കുഴപ്പമുണ്ടാക്കാന് വേണ്ടി വന്നതല്ലെന്ന് നിങ്ങള്ക്കറിയാമല്ലോ. ഞങ്ങള് മോഷ്ടാക്കളായിരുന്നിട്ടുമില്ല
قَالُواْ فَمَا جَزَـٰٓؤُهُۥٓ إِن كُنتُمۡ كَٰذِبِينَ
74The accusers said, "Then what would be its recompense if you should be liars
അവര് ചോദിച്ചു: എന്നാല് നിങ്ങള് കള്ളം പറയുന്നവരാണെങ്കില് അതിനു എന്ത് ശിക്ഷയാണ് നല്കേണ്ടത്
قَالُواْ جَزَـٰٓؤُهُۥ مَن وُجِدَ فِي رَحۡلِهِۦ فَهُوَ جَزَـٰٓؤُهُۥۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
75[The brothers] said, "Its recompense is that he in whose bag it is found - he [himself] will be its recompense. Thus do we recompense the wrongdoers
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: അതിനുള്ള ശിക്ഷ ഇപ്രകാരമത്രെ. ഏതൊരുവന്റെ യാത്രാ ഭാണ്ഡത്തിലാണോ അതു കാണപ്പെടുന്നത് അവനെ പിടിച്ച് വെക്കുകയാണ് അതിനുള്ള ശിക്ഷ. അപ്രകാരമാണ് ഞങ്ങള് അക്രമികള്ക്ക് പ്രതിഫലം നല്കുന്നത്
فَبَدَأَ بِأَوۡعِيَتِهِمۡ قَبۡلَ وِعَآءِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَخۡرَجَهَا مِن وِعَآءِ أَخِيهِۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كِدۡنَا لِيُوسُفَۖ مَا كَانَ لِيَأۡخُذَ أَخَاهُ فِي دِينِ ٱلۡمَلِكِ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ نَرۡفَعُ دَرَجَٰتٖ مَّن نَّشَآءُۗ وَفَوۡقَ كُلِّ ذِي عِلۡمٍ عَلِيمٞ
76So he began [the search] with their bags before the bag of his brother; then he extracted it from the bag of his brother. Thus did We plan for Joseph. He could not have taken his brother within the religion of the king except that Allah willed. We raise in degrees whom We will, but over every possessor of knowledge is one [more] knowing
എന്നിട്ട് അദ്ദേഹം (യൂസുഫ്) തന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ ഭാണ്ഡത്തേക്കാള് മുമ്പായി അവരുടെ ഭാണ്ഡങ്ങള് പരിശോധിക്കുവാന് തുടങ്ങി. പിന്നീട് തന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെ ഭാണ്ഡത്തില് നിന്ന് അദ്ദേഹമത് പുറത്തെടുത്തു. അപ്രകാരം യൂസുഫിന് വേണ്ടി നാം തന്ത്രം പ്രയോഗിച്ചു. അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിലല്ലാതെ രാജാവിന്റെ നിയമമനുസരിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് തന്റെ സഹോദരനെ പിടിച്ചുവെക്കാന് പറ്റുമായിരുന്നില്ല. നാം ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവരെ നാം പല പദവികള് ഉയര്ത്തുന്നു. അറിവുള്ളവരുടെയെല്ലാം മീതെ എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നവനുണ്ട്
۞قَالُوٓاْ إِن يَسۡرِقۡ فَقَدۡ سَرَقَ أَخٞ لَّهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُۚ فَأَسَرَّهَا يُوسُفُ فِي نَفۡسِهِۦ وَلَمۡ يُبۡدِهَا لَهُمۡۚ قَالَ أَنتُمۡ شَرّٞ مَّكَانٗاۖ وَٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا تَصِفُونَ
77They said, "If he steals - a brother of his has stolen before." But Joseph kept it within himself and did not reveal it to them. He said, "You are worse in position, and Allah is most knowing of what you describe
അവര് (സഹോദരന്മാര്) പറഞ്ഞു: അവന് മോഷ്ടിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കില് (അതില് അത്ഭുതമില്ല.) മുമ്പ് അവന്റെ സഹോദരനും മോഷ്ടിക്കുകയുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാല് യൂസുഫ് അത് തന്റെ മനസ്സില് ഗോപ്യമാക്കിവെച്ചു. അവരോട് അദ്ദേഹം അത് (പ്രതികരണം) പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചില്ല. അദ്ദേഹം (മനസ്സില്) പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങളാണ് മോശമായ നിലപാടുകാര്. നിങ്ങള് പറഞ്ഞുണ്ടാക്കുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി അല്ലാഹു നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയുന്നവനാണ്
قَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡعَزِيزُ إِنَّ لَهُۥٓ أَبٗا شَيۡخٗا كَبِيرٗا فَخُذۡ أَحَدَنَا مَكَانَهُۥٓۖ إِنَّا نَرَىٰكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
78They said, "O 'Azeez, indeed he has a father [who is] an old man, so take one of us in place of him. Indeed, we see you as a doer of good
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: പ്രഭോ! ഇവന് വലിയ വൃദ്ധനായ പിതാവുണ്ട്. അതിനാല് ഇവന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്ത് ഞങ്ങളില് ഒരാളെ പിടിച്ച് വെക്കുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും താങ്കളെ ഞങ്ങള് കാണുന്നത് സദ്വൃത്തരില്പെട്ട ഒരാളായിട്ടാണ്
قَالَ مَعَاذَ ٱللَّهِ أَن نَّأۡخُذَ إِلَّا مَن وَجَدۡنَا مَتَٰعَنَا عِندَهُۥٓ إِنَّآ إِذٗا لَّظَٰلِمُونَ
79He said, "[I seek] the refuge of Allah [to prevent] that we take except him with whom we found our possession. Indeed, we would then be unjust
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹുവില് ശരണം. നമ്മുടെ സാധനം ആരുടെ കയ്യില് കണ്ടെത്തിയോ അവനെയല്ലാതെ നാം പിടിച്ച് വെക്കുകയോ? എങ്കില് തീര്ച്ചയായും നാം അക്രമകാരികള് തന്നെയായിരിക്കും
فَلَمَّا ٱسۡتَيۡـَٔسُواْ مِنۡهُ خَلَصُواْ نَجِيّٗاۖ قَالَ كَبِيرُهُمۡ أَلَمۡ تَعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ أَبَاكُمۡ قَدۡ أَخَذَ عَلَيۡكُم مَّوۡثِقٗا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمِن قَبۡلُ مَا فَرَّطتُمۡ فِي يُوسُفَۖ فَلَنۡ أَبۡرَحَ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡذَنَ لِيٓ أَبِيٓ أَوۡ يَحۡكُمَ ٱللَّهُ لِيۖ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ
80So when they had despaired of him, they secluded themselves in private consultation. The eldest of them said, "Do you not know that your father has taken upon you an oath by Allah and [that] before you failed in [your duty to] Joseph? So I will never leave [this] land until my father permits me or Allah decides for me, and He is the best of judges
അങ്ങനെ അവനെ (സഹോദരനെ) പ്പറ്റി അവര് നിരാശരായി കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള് അവര് തനിച്ച് മാറിയിരുന്ന് കൂടിയാലോചന നടത്തി. അവരില് വലിയ ആള് പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവ് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പേരില് നിങ്ങളോട് ഉറപ്പ് വാങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും, യൂസുഫിന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് മുമ്പ് നിങ്ങള് വീഴ്ചവരുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും നിങ്ങള്ക്കറിഞ്ഞ് കൂടെ? അതിനാല് എന്റെ പിതാവ് എനിക്ക് അനുവാദം തരികയോ, അല്ലാഹു എനിക്ക് വിധി തരികയോ ചെയ്യുന്നത് വരെ ഞാന് ഈ ഭൂപ്രദേശം വിട്ടുപോരുകയേ ഇല്ല. വിധികര്ത്താക്കളില് ഏറ്റവും ഉത്തമനത്രെ അവന്
ٱرۡجِعُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَبِيكُمۡ فَقُولُواْ يَـٰٓأَبَانَآ إِنَّ ٱبۡنَكَ سَرَقَ وَمَا شَهِدۡنَآ إِلَّا بِمَا عَلِمۡنَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِلۡغَيۡبِ حَٰفِظِينَ
81Return to your father and say, "O our father, indeed your son has stolen, and we did not testify except to what we knew. And we were not witnesses of the unseen
നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവിന്റെ അടുത്തേക്ക് മടങ്ങിച്ചെന്നിട്ട് പറയൂ. ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവേ, താങ്കളുടെ മകന് മോഷണം നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞങ്ങള് അറിഞ്ഞതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തില് മാത്രമാണ് ഞങ്ങള് സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. അദൃശ്യകാര്യം ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് അറിയുമായിരുന്നില്ലല്ലോ
وَسۡـَٔلِ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةَ ٱلَّتِي كُنَّا فِيهَا وَٱلۡعِيرَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَقۡبَلۡنَا فِيهَاۖ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ
82And ask the city in which we were and the caravan in which we came - and indeed, we are truthful
ഞങ്ങള് പോയിരുന്ന രാജ്യക്കാരോടും, ഞങ്ങള് (ഇങ്ങോട്ട്) ഒന്നിച്ച് യാത്ര ചെയ്ത യാത്രാസംഘത്തോടും താങ്കള് ചോദിച്ച് നോക്കുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് സത്യം പറയുന്നവരാകുന്നു
قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَكُمۡ أَنفُسُكُمۡ أَمۡرٗاۖ فَصَبۡرٞ جَمِيلٌۖ عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَأۡتِيَنِي بِهِمۡ جَمِيعًاۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
83[Jacob] said, "Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. Perhaps Allah will bring them to me all together. Indeed it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise
അദ്ദേഹം (പിതാവ്) പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ല, നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സുകള് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് എന്തോകാര്യം ഭംഗിയായി തോന്നിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല് നന്നായി ക്ഷമിക്കുക തന്നെ. അവരെല്ലാവരെയും അല്ലാഹു എന്റെ അടുത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവന്നു തന്നേക്കാവുന്നതാണ്. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നവനും യുക്തിമാനുമാകുന്നു
وَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنۡهُمۡ وَقَالَ يَـٰٓأَسَفَىٰ عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ وَٱبۡيَضَّتۡ عَيۡنَاهُ مِنَ ٱلۡحُزۡنِ فَهُوَ كَظِيمٞ
84And he turned away from them and said, "Oh, my sorrow over Joseph," and his eyes became white from grief, for he was [of that] a suppressor
അവരില് നിന്നു തിരിഞ്ഞുകളഞ്ഞിട്ട് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: യൂസുഫിന്റെ കാര്യം എത്ര സങ്കടകരം! ദുഃഖം നിമിത്തം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഇരുകണ്ണുകളും വെളുത്ത് പോയി. അങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹം (ദുഃഖം) ഉള്ളിലൊതുക്കി കഴിയുകയാണ്
قَالُواْ تَٱللَّهِ تَفۡتَؤُاْ تَذۡكُرُ يُوسُفَ حَتَّىٰ تَكُونَ حَرَضًا أَوۡ تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡهَٰلِكِينَ
85They said, "By Allah, you will not cease remembering Joseph until you become fatally ill or become of those who perish
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹുവിനെ തന്നെയാണ, താങ്കള് തീര്ത്തും അവശനാകുകയോ, അല്ലെങ്കില് മരണമടയുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നതു വരെ താങ്കള് യൂസുഫിനെ ഓര്ത്തു കൊണേ്ടയിരിക്കും
قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَشۡكُواْ بَثِّي وَحُزۡنِيٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَأَعۡلَمُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ
86He said, "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്റെ വേവലാതിയും വ്യസനവും ഞാന് അല്ലാഹുവോട് മാത്രമാണ് ബോധിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല് നിന്നും നിങ്ങള് അറിയാത്ത ചിലത് ഞാനറിയുന്നുമുണ്ട്
يَٰبَنِيَّ ٱذۡهَبُواْ فَتَحَسَّسُواْ مِن يُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ وَلَا تَاْيۡـَٔسُواْ مِن رَّوۡحِ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يَاْيۡـَٔسُ مِن رَّوۡحِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلۡقَوۡمُ ٱلۡكَٰفِرُونَ
87O my sons, go and find out about Joseph and his brother and despair not of relief from Allah. Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people
എന്റെ മക്കളേ, നിങ്ങള് പോയി യൂസുഫിനെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരനെയും സംബന്ധിച്ച് അന്വേഷിച്ച് നോക്കുക. അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല് നിന്നുള്ള ആശ്വാസത്തെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങള് നിരാശപ്പെടരുത്. അവിശ്വാസികളായ ജനങ്ങളല്ലാതെ അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല് നിന്നുള്ള ആശ്വാസത്തെപ്പറ്റി നിരാശപ്പെടുകയില്ല, തീര്ച്ച
فَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ قَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡعَزِيزُ مَسَّنَا وَأَهۡلَنَا ٱلضُّرُّ وَجِئۡنَا بِبِضَٰعَةٖ مُّزۡجَىٰةٖ فَأَوۡفِ لَنَا ٱلۡكَيۡلَ وَتَصَدَّقۡ عَلَيۡنَآۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُتَصَدِّقِينَ
88So when they entered upon Joseph, they said, "O 'Azeez, adversity has touched us and our family, and we have come with goods poor in quality, but give us full measure and be charitable to us. Indeed, Allah rewards the charitable
അങ്ങനെ യൂസുഫിന്റെ അടുക്കല് കടന്ന് ചെന്നിട്ട് അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: പ്രഭോ, ഞങ്ങളെയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബത്തേയും ദുരിതം ബാധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. മോശമായ ചരക്കുകളേ ഞങ്ങള് കൊണ്ടുവന്നിട്ടുള്ളൂ. അതിനാല് താങ്കള് ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് അളവ് തികച്ചുതരികയും, ഞങ്ങളോട് ഔദാര്യം കാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യണം. തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു ഉദാരമതികള്ക്ക് പ്രതിഫലം നല്കുന്നതാണ്
قَالَ هَلۡ عَلِمۡتُم مَّا فَعَلۡتُم بِيُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ إِذۡ أَنتُمۡ جَٰهِلُونَ
89He said, "Do you know what you did with Joseph and his brother when you were ignorant
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള് അറിവില്ലാത്തവരായിരുന്നപ്പോള് യൂസുഫിന്റെയും അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്റെയും കാര്യത്തില് നിങ്ങള് ചെയ്തതെന്താണെന്ന് നിങ്ങള് മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ
قَالُوٓاْ أَءِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ يُوسُفُۖ قَالَ أَنَا۠ يُوسُفُ وَهَٰذَآ أَخِيۖ قَدۡ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡنَآۖ إِنَّهُۥ مَن يَتَّقِ وَيَصۡبِرۡ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجۡرَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
90They said, "Are you indeed Joseph?" He said "I am Joseph, and this is my brother. Allah has certainly favored us. Indeed, he who fears Allah and is patient, then indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good
അവര് ചോദിച്ചു: നീ തന്നെയാണോ യൂസുഫ്? അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: ഞാന് തന്നെയാണ് യൂസുഫ്. ഇതെന്റെ സഹോദരനും! അല്ലാഹു ഞങ്ങളോട് ഔദാര്യം കാണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും ആര് സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിക്കുകയും ക്ഷമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നുവോ ആ സദ്വൃത്തര്ക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം അല്ലാഹു നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തിക്കളയുകയില്ല; തീര്ച്ച
قَالُواْ تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدۡ ءَاثَرَكَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡنَا وَإِن كُنَّا لَخَٰطِـِٔينَ
91They said, "By Allah, certainly has Allah preferred you over us, and indeed, we have been sinners
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹുവെതന്നെയാണ, തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു നിനക്ക് ഞങ്ങളെക്കാള് മുന്ഗണന നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് തെറ്റുകാരായിരിക്കുന്നു
قَالَ لَا تَثۡرِيبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَۖ يَغۡفِرُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمۡۖ وَهُوَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّـٰحِمِينَ
92He said, "No blame will there be upon you today. Allah will forgive you; and He is the most merciful of the merciful
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: ഇന്ന് നിങ്ങളുടെ മേല് ഒരു ആക്ഷേപവുമില്ല. അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് പൊറുത്തുതരട്ടെ. അവന് കരുണയുള്ളവരില് വെച്ച് ഏറ്റവും കാരുണികനാകുന്നു
ٱذۡهَبُواْ بِقَمِيصِي هَٰذَا فَأَلۡقُوهُ عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِ أَبِي يَأۡتِ بَصِيرٗا وَأۡتُونِي بِأَهۡلِكُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
93Take this, my shirt, and cast it over the face of my father; he will become seeing. And bring me your family, all together
നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ ഈ കുപ്പായം കൊണ്ട് പോയിട്ട് എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ മുഖത്ത് ഇട്ടുകൊടുക്കുക. എങ്കില് അദ്ദേഹം കാഴ്ചയുള്ളവനായിത്തീരും. നിങ്ങളുടെ മുഴുവന് കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളെയും കൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങള് എന്റെ അടുത്ത് വരുകയും ചെയ്യുക
وَلَمَّا فَصَلَتِ ٱلۡعِيرُ قَالَ أَبُوهُمۡ إِنِّي لَأَجِدُ رِيحَ يُوسُفَۖ لَوۡلَآ أَن تُفَنِّدُونِ
94And when the caravan departed [from Egypt], their father said, "Indeed, I find the smell of Joseph [and would say that he was alive] if you did not think me weakened in mind
യാത്രാസംഘം (ഈജിപ്തില് നിന്ന്) പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള് അവരുടെ പിതാവ് (അടുത്തുള്ളവരോട്) പറഞ്ഞു: തീര്ച്ചയായും എനിക്ക് യൂസുഫിന്റെ വാസന അനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ട്. നിങ്ങളെന്നെ ബുദ്ധിഭ്രമം പറ്റിയവനായി കരുതുന്നില്ലെങ്കില് (നിങ്ങള്ക്കിത് വിശ്വസിക്കാവുന്നതാണ്)
قَالُواْ تَٱللَّهِ إِنَّكَ لَفِي ضَلَٰلِكَ ٱلۡقَدِيمِ
95They said, "By Allah, indeed you are in your [same] old error
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹുവെ തന്നെയാണ, തീര്ച്ചയായും താങ്കള് താങ്കളുടെ പഴയ വഴികേടില് തന്നെയാണ്
فَلَمَّآ أَن جَآءَ ٱلۡبَشِيرُ أَلۡقَىٰهُ عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِهِۦ فَٱرۡتَدَّ بَصِيرٗاۖ قَالَ أَلَمۡ أَقُل لَّكُمۡ إِنِّيٓ أَعۡلَمُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ
96And when the bearer of good tidings arrived, he cast it over his face, and he returned [once again] seeing. He said, "Did I not tell you that I know from Allah that which you do not know
അനന്തരം സന്തോഷവാര്ത്ത അറിയിക്കുന്ന ആള് വന്നപ്പോള് അയാള് ആ കുപ്പായം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മുഖത്ത് വെച്ച് കൊടുത്തു. അപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം കാഴ്ചയുള്ളവനായി മാറി. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള്ക്കറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്ത ചിലത് അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല് നിന്ന് ഞാന് അറിയുന്നുണ്ട് എന്ന് ഞാന് നിങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലേ
قَالُواْ يَـٰٓأَبَانَا ٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا خَٰطِـِٔينَ
97They said, "O our father, ask for us forgiveness of our sins; indeed, we have been sinners
അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവേ, ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി ഞങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങള് പൊറുത്തുകിട്ടാന് താങ്കള് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കണേ-തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള് തെറ്റുകാരായിരിക്കുന്നു
قَالَ سَوۡفَ أَسۡتَغۡفِرُ لَكُمۡ رَبِّيٓۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
98He said, "I will ask forgiveness for you from my Lord. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനോട് ഞാന് പാപമോചനം തേടാം. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും കരുണാനിധിയുമാകുന്നു
فَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ ءَاوَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِ أَبَوَيۡهِ وَقَالَ ٱدۡخُلُواْ مِصۡرَ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ءَامِنِينَ
99And when they entered upon Joseph, he took his parents to himself and said, "Enter Egypt, Allah willing, safe [and secure]
അനന്തരം അവര് യൂസുഫിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ പ്രവേശിച്ചപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം (യൂസുഫ്) തന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കളെ തന്നിലേക്ക് അണച്ചു കൂട്ടി. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം നിങ്ങള് നിര്ഭയരായിക്കൊണ്ട് ഈജിപ്തില് പ്രവേശിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക
وَرَفَعَ أَبَوَيۡهِ عَلَى ٱلۡعَرۡشِ وَخَرُّواْ لَهُۥ سُجَّدٗاۖ وَقَالَ يَـٰٓأَبَتِ هَٰذَا تَأۡوِيلُ رُءۡيَٰيَ مِن قَبۡلُ قَدۡ جَعَلَهَا رَبِّي حَقّٗاۖ وَقَدۡ أَحۡسَنَ بِيٓ إِذۡ أَخۡرَجَنِي مِنَ ٱلسِّجۡنِ وَجَآءَ بِكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡبَدۡوِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَن نَّزَغَ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنُ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَ إِخۡوَتِيٓۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَطِيفٞ لِّمَا يَشَآءُۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
100And he raised his parents upon the throne, and they bowed to him in prostration. And he said, "O my father, this is the explanation of my vision of before. My Lord has made it reality. And He was certainly good to me when He took me out of prison and brought you [here] from bedouin life after Satan had induced [estrangement] between me and my brothers. Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise
അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കളെ രാജപീഠത്തിന്മേല് കയറ്റിയിരുത്തി. അവര് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പില് പ്രണാമം ചെയ്യുന്നവരായിക്കൊണ്ട് വീണു. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്റെ പിതാവേ, മുമ്പ് ഞാന് കണ്ട സ്വപ്നം പുലര്ന്നതാണിത്. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് അതൊരു യാഥാര്ത്ഥ്യമാക്കിത്തീര്ത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്നെ അവന് ജയിലില് നിന്ന് പുറത്തുകൊണ്ട് വന്ന സന്ദര്ഭത്തിലും എന്റെയും എന്റെ സഹോദരങ്ങളുടെയും ഇടയില് പിശാച് കുഴപ്പം ഇളക്കിവിട്ടതിന് ശേഷം മരുഭൂമിയില് നിന്ന് അവന് നിങ്ങളെയെല്ലാവരെയും (എന്റെ അടുത്തേക്ക്) കൊണ്ടുവന്ന സന്ദര്ഭത്തിലും അവന് എനിക്ക് ഉപകാരം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് താന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങള് സൂക്ഷ്മമായി നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നവനത്രെ. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് എല്ലാം അറിയുന്നവനും യുക്തിമാനുമാകുന്നു
۞رَبِّ قَدۡ ءَاتَيۡتَنِي مِنَ ٱلۡمُلۡكِ وَعَلَّمۡتَنِي مِن تَأۡوِيلِ ٱلۡأَحَادِيثِۚ فَاطِرَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَنتَ وَلِيِّۦ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۖ تَوَفَّنِي مُسۡلِمٗا وَأَلۡحِقۡنِي بِٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
101My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous
(യൂസുഫ് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ചു:) എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ എനിക്ക് ഭരണാധികാരത്തില് നിന്ന് (ഒരംശം) നല്കുകയും, സ്വപ്നവാര്ത്തകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനത്തില് നിന്നും (ചിലത്) നീ എനിക്ക് പഠിപ്പിച്ചുതരികയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും സ്രഷ്ടാവേ, നീ ഇഹത്തിലും പരത്തിലും എന്റെ രക്ഷാധികാരിയാകുന്നു. നീ എന്നെ മുസ്ലിമായി മരിപ്പിക്കുകയും സജ്ജനങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ചേര്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ
ذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ نُوحِيهِ إِلَيۡكَۖ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيۡهِمۡ إِذۡ أَجۡمَعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ يَمۡكُرُونَ
102That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal, [O Muhammad], to you. And you were not with them when they put together their plan while they conspired
(നബിയേ,) നിനക്ക് നാം സന്ദേശമായി നല്കുന്ന അദൃശ്യവാര്ത്തകളില് പെട്ടതത്രെ അത്. (യൂസുഫിനെതിരില്) തന്ത്രം പ്രയോഗിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവര് തങ്ങളുടെ പദ്ധതി കൂടിത്തീരുമാനിച്ചപ്പോള് നീ അവരുടെ അടുക്കല് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ലല്ലോ
وَمَآ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَوۡ حَرَصۡتَ بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ
103And most of the people, although you strive [for it], are not believers
എന്നാല് നീ അതിയായി ആഗ്രഹിച്ചാലും മനുഷ്യരില് അധികപേരും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരല്ല
وَمَا تَسۡـَٔلُهُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ مِنۡ أَجۡرٍۚ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
104And you do not ask of them for it any payment. It is not except a reminder to the worlds
നീ അവരോട് ഇതിന്റെ പേരില് യാതൊരു പ്രതിഫലവും ചോദിക്കുന്നുമില്ല. ഇത് ലോകര്ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഒരു ഉല്ബോധനം മാത്രമാകുന്നു
وَكَأَيِّن مِّنۡ ءَايَةٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَمُرُّونَ عَلَيۡهَا وَهُمۡ عَنۡهَا مُعۡرِضُونَ
105And how many a sign within the heavens and earth do they pass over while they, therefrom, are turning away
ആകാശങ്ങളിലും ഭൂമിയിലും എത്രയെത്ര ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള്! അവയെ അവഗണിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് അവര് അവയുടെ അടുത്ത് കൂടി കടന്ന് പോകുന്നു
وَمَا يُؤۡمِنُ أَكۡثَرُهُم بِٱللَّهِ إِلَّا وَهُم مُّشۡرِكُونَ
106And most of them believe not in Allah except while they associate others with Him
അവരില് അധികപേരും അല്ലാഹുവില് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നത് അവനോട് (മറ്റുള്ളവരെ) പങ്കുചേര്ക്കുന്നവരായിക്കൊണ്ട് മാത്രമാണ്
أَفَأَمِنُوٓاْ أَن تَأۡتِيَهُمۡ غَٰشِيَةٞ مِّنۡ عَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡ تَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ بَغۡتَةٗ وَهُمۡ لَا يَشۡعُرُونَ
107Then do they feel secure that there will not come to them an overwhelming [aspect] of the punishment of Allah or that the Hour will not come upon them suddenly while they do not perceive
അവരെ വലയം ചെയ്യുന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ള അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ശിക്ഷ അവര്ക്ക് വന്നെത്തുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി, അല്ലെങ്കില് അവര് ഓര്ക്കാതിരിക്കെ പെട്ടെന്ന് അന്ത്യദിനം അവര്ക്ക് വന്നെത്തുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി അവര് നിര്ഭയരായിരിക്കുകയാണോ
قُلۡ هَٰذِهِۦ سَبِيلِيٓ أَدۡعُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۚ عَلَىٰ بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَا۠ وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَنِيۖ وَسُبۡحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ
108Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is Allah; and I am not of those who associate others with Him
(നബിയേ,) പറയുക: ഇതാണ് എന്റെ മാര്ഗം. ദൃഢബോധ്യത്തോട് കൂടി അല്ലാഹുവിലേക്ക് ഞാന് ക്ഷണിക്കുന്നു. ഞാനും എന്നെ പിന്പറ്റിയവരും. അല്ലാഹു എത്ര പരിശുദ്ധന്! ഞാന് (അവനോട്) പങ്കുചേര്ക്കുന്ന കൂട്ടത്തിലല്ല തന്നെ
وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالٗا نُّوحِيٓ إِلَيۡهِم مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓۗ أَفَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۗ وَلَدَارُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ خَيۡرٞ لِّلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَوۡاْۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ
109And We sent not before you [as messengers] except men to whom We revealed from among the people of cities. So have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? And the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah; then will you not reason
വിവിധ രാജ്യക്കാരില് നിന്ന് നാം സന്ദേശം നല്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ചില പുരുഷന്മാരെത്തന്നെയാണ് നിനക്ക് മുമ്പും നാം ദൂതന്മാരായി നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത് അവര് (അവിശ്വാസികള്) ഭൂമിയിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ചിട്ട് തങ്ങളുടെ മുന്ഗാമികളുടെ പര്യവസാനം എങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് നോക്കിയിട്ടില്ലേ? എന്നാല് പരലോകമാണ് സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിച്ചവര്ക്ക് കൂടുതല് ഉത്തമമായിട്ടുള്ളത്. അപ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നില്ലേ
حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا ٱسۡتَيۡـَٔسَ ٱلرُّسُلُ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُمۡ قَدۡ كُذِبُواْ جَآءَهُمۡ نَصۡرُنَا فَنُجِّيَ مَن نَّشَآءُۖ وَلَا يُرَدُّ بَأۡسُنَا عَنِ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
110[They continued] until, when the messengers despaired and were certain that they had been denied, there came to them Our victory, and whoever We willed was saved. And Our punishment cannot be repelled from the people who are criminals
അങ്ങനെ ദൈവദൂതന്മാര് നിരാശപ്പെടുകയും (അവര്) തങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞത് കളവാണെന്ന് ജനങ്ങള് വിചാരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തപ്പോള് നമ്മുടെ സഹായം അവര്ക്ക് (ദൂതന്മാര്ക്ക്) വന്നെത്തി. അങ്ങനെ നാം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നവര്ക്ക് രക്ഷനല്കപ്പെട്ടു. കുറ്റവാളികളായ ജനങ്ങളില് നിന്നും നമ്മുടെ ശിക്ഷ തടുക്കപ്പെടുന്നതല്ല
لَقَدۡ كَانَ فِي قَصَصِهِمۡ عِبۡرَةٞ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِۗ مَا كَانَ حَدِيثٗا يُفۡتَرَىٰ وَلَٰكِن تَصۡدِيقَ ٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ وَتَفۡصِيلَ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُدٗى وَرَحۡمَةٗ لِّقَوۡمٖ يُؤۡمِنُونَ
111There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur'an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe
