التكوير

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. إِذَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ كُوِّرَتۡ

   ✦1

   When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness]

   സൂര്യന്‍ ചുറ്റിപ്പൊതിയപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍

2. وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتۡ

   ✦2

   And when the stars fall, dispersing

   നക്ഷത്രങ്ങള്‍ ഉതിര്‍ന്നു വീഴുമ്പോള്‍

3. وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتۡ

   ✦3

   And when the mountains are removed

   പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങള്‍ സഞ്ചരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍

4. وَإِذَا ٱلۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ

   ✦4

   And when full-term she-camels are neglected

   പൂര്‍ണ്ണഗര്‍ഭിണികളായ ഒട്ടകങ്ങള്‍ അവഗണിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍

5. وَإِذَا ٱلۡوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتۡ

   ✦5

   And when the wild beasts are gathered

   വന്യമൃഗങ്ങള്‍ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍

6. وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡ

   ✦6

   And when the seas are filled with flame

   സമുദ്രങ്ങള്‍ ആളിക്കത്തിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍

7. وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتۡ

   ✦7

   And when the souls are paired

   ആത്മാവുകള്‍ കൂട്ടിയിണക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍

8. وَإِذَا ٱلۡمَوۡءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتۡ

   ✦8

   And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked

   (ജീവനോടെ) കുഴിച്ചു മൂടപ്പെട്ട പെണ്‍കുട്ടിയോടു ചോദിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍

9. بِأَيِّ ذَنۢبٖ قُتِلَتۡ

   ✦9

   For what sin she was killed

   താന്‍ എന്തൊരു കുറ്റത്തിനാണ് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത് എന്ന്‌

10. وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتۡ

    ✦10

    And when the pages are made public

    (കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ) ഏടുകള്‍ തുറന്നുവെക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍

11. وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتۡ

    ✦11

    And when the sky is stripped away

    ഉപരിലോകം മറ നീക്കികാണിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍

12. وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتۡ

    ✦12

    And when Hellfire is set ablaze

    ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന നരകാഗ്നി ആളിക്കത്തിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍

13. وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَنَّةُ أُزۡلِفَتۡ

    ✦13

    And when Paradise is brought near

    സ്വര്‍ഗം അടുത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍

14. عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّآ أَحۡضَرَتۡ

    ✦14

    A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]

    ഓരോ വ്യക്തിയും താന്‍ തയ്യാറാക്കിക്കൊണ്ടു വന്നിട്ടുള്ളത് എന്തെന്ന് അറിയുന്നതാണ്‌

15. فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلۡخُنَّسِ

    ✦15

    So I swear by the retreating stars

    പിന്‍വാങ്ങിപ്പോകുന്നവയെ (നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളെ) ക്കൊണ്ട് ഞാന്‍ സത്യം ചെയ്തു പറയുന്നു

16. ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡكُنَّسِ

    ✦16

    Those that run [their courses] and disappear

    സഞ്ചരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവയും അപ്രത്യക്ഷമായിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവയും

17. وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا عَسۡعَسَ

    ✦17

    And by the night as it closes in

    രാത്രി നീങ്ങുമ്പോള്‍ അതു കൊണ്ടും

18. وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ

    ✦18

    And by the dawn when it breathes

    പ്രഭാതം വിടര്‍ന്ന് വരുമ്പോള്‍ അതു കൊണ്ടും (ഞാന്‍ സത്യം ചെയ്തു പറയുന്നു)

19. إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ

    ✦19

    [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇത് (ഖുര്‍ആന്‍) മാന്യനായ ഒരു ദൂതന്‍റെ വാക്കാകുന്നു

20. ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِي ٱلۡعَرۡشِ مَكِينٖ

    ✦20

    [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position]

    ശക്തിയുള്ളവനും, സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനായ അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല്‍ സ്ഥാനമുള്ളവനുമായ (ദൂതന്‍റെ)

21. مُّطَاعٖ ثَمَّ أَمِينٖ

    ✦21

    Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy

    അവിടെ അനുസരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവനും വിശ്വസ്തനുമായ (ദൂതന്‍റെ)

22. وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجۡنُونٖ

    ✦22

    And your companion is not [at all] mad

    നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്‍ (പ്രവാചകന്‍) ഒരു ഭ്രാന്തനല്ല തന്നെ

23. وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ

    ✦23

    And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ (ജിബ്‌രീല്‍ എന്ന ദൂതനെ) പ്രത്യക്ഷമായ മണ്ഡലത്തില്‍ വെച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്‌

24. وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلۡغَيۡبِ بِضَنِينٖ

    ✦24

    And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen

    അദ്ദേഹം അദൃശ്യവാര്‍ത്തയുടെ കാര്യത്തില്‍ പിശുക്ക് കാണിക്കുന്നവനുമല്ല

25. وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٖ

    ✦25

    And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]

    ഇത് (ഖുര്‍ആന്‍) ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു പിശാചിന്‍റെ വാക്കുമല്ല

26. فَأَيۡنَ تَذۡهَبُونَ

    ✦26

    So where are you going

    അപ്പോള്‍ എങ്ങോട്ടാണ് നിങ്ങള്‍ പോകുന്നത്‌

27. إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    ✦27

    It is not except a reminder to the worlds

    ഇത് ലോകര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ഒരു ഉല്‍ബോധനമല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമല്ല

28. لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَسۡتَقِيمَ

    ✦28

    For whoever wills among you to take a right course

    അതായത് നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് നേരെ നിലകൊള്ളാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചവര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി

29. وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    ✦29

    And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds

    ലോകരക്ഷിതാവായ അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിലല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങള്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുകയില്ല
