سبإ

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَهُ ٱلۡحَمۡدُ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٱلۡخَبِيرُ

   ✦1

   [All] praise is [due] to Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and to Him belongs [all] praise in the Hereafter. And He is the Wise, the Acquainted

   ആകാശങ്ങളിലുള്ളതും ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതും ആരുടേതാണോ ആ അല്ലാഹുവിന് സ്തുതി. അവന്‍ യുക്തിമാനും സൂക്ഷ്മജ്ഞനുമത്രെ

2. يَعۡلَمُ مَا يَلِجُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهَا وَمَا يَنزِلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا يَعۡرُجُ فِيهَاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٱلۡغَفُورُ

   ✦2

   He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein. And He is the Merciful, the Forgiving

   ഭൂമിയില്‍ പ്രവേശിക്കുന്നതും, അതില്‍ നിന്ന് പുറത്ത് വരുന്നതും, ആകാശത്ത് നിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങുന്നതും അതില്‍ കയറുന്നതുമായ വസ്തുക്കളെ പറ്റി അവന്‍ അറിയുന്നു. അവന്‍ കരുണാനിധിയും ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനുമത്രെ

3. وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَا تَأۡتِينَا ٱلسَّاعَةُۖ قُلۡ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّي لَتَأۡتِيَنَّكُمۡ عَٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِۖ لَا يَعۡزُبُ عَنۡهُ مِثۡقَالُ ذَرَّةٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَآ أَصۡغَرُ مِن ذَٰلِكَ وَلَآ أَكۡبَرُ إِلَّا فِي كِتَٰبٖ مُّبِينٖ

   ✦3

   But those who disbelieve say, "The Hour will not come to us." Say, "Yes, by my Lord, it will surely come to you. [Allah is] the Knower of the unseen." Not absent from Him is an atom's weight within the heavens or within the earth or [what is] smaller than that or greater, except that it is in a clear register

   ആ അന്ത്യസമയം ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വന്നെത്തുകയില്ലെന്ന് സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ പറഞ്ഞുണീ പറയുക: അല്ല, എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ തന്നെയാണ, അത് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വന്നെത്തുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യും. അദൃശ്യകാര്യങ്ങള്‍ അറിയുന്നവനായ (രക്ഷിതാവ്‌). ആകാശങ്ങളിലാകട്ടെ ഭൂമിയിലാകട്ടെ ഒരു അണുവിന്‍റെ തൂക്കമുള്ളതോ അതിനെക്കാള്‍ ചെറുതോ വലുതോ ആയ യാതൊന്നും അവനില്‍ നിന്ന് മറഞ്ഞ് പോകുകയില്ല. സ്പഷ്ടമായ ഒരു രേഖയില്‍ ഉള്‍പെടാത്തതായി യാതൊന്നുമില്ല

4. لِّيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةٞ وَرِزۡقٞ كَرِيمٞ

   ✦4

   That He may reward those who believe and do righteous deeds. Those will have forgiveness and noble provision

   വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും സല്‍കര്‍മ്മങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവര്‍ക്ക് അവന്‍ പ്രതിഫലം നല്‍കുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടിയത്രെ അത്‌. അങ്ങനെയുള്ളവര്‍ക്കാകുന്നു പാപമോചനവും മാന്യമായ ഉപജീവനവും ഉള്ളത്‌

5. وَٱلَّذِينَ سَعَوۡ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ مِّن رِّجۡزٍ أَلِيمٞ

   ✦5

   But those who strive against Our verses [seeking] to cause failure - for them will be a painful punishment of foul nature

   (നമ്മെ) തോല്‍പിച്ച് കളയുവാനായി നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെ എതിര്‍ക്കുന്നതിന് ശ്രമിച്ചവരാരോ അവര്‍ക്കത്രെ വേദനാജനകമായ കഠിനശിക്ഷയുള്ളത്‌

6. وَيَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ ٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقَّ وَيَهۡدِيٓ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ

   ✦6

   And those who have been given knowledge see that what is revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, and it guides to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy

   നിനക്ക് നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടതു തന്നെയാണ് സത്യമെന്നും, പ്രതാപിയും സ്തുത്യര്‍ഹനുമായ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തിലേക്കാണ് അത് നയിക്കുന്നതെന്നും ജ്ഞാനം നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ കാണുന്നുണ്ട്‌

7. وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ هَلۡ نَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٖ يُنَبِّئُكُمۡ إِذَا مُزِّقۡتُمۡ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ إِنَّكُمۡ لَفِي خَلۡقٖ جَدِيدٍ

   ✦7

   But those who disbelieve say, "Shall we direct you to a man who will inform you [that] when you have disintegrated in complete disintegration, you will [then] be [recreated] in a new creation

   സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ (പരിഹാസസ്വരത്തില്‍) പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള്‍ സര്‍വ്വത്ര ഛിന്നഭിന്നമാക്കപ്പെട്ടു കഴിഞ്ഞാലും നിങ്ങള്‍ പുതുതായി സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വിവരം തരുന്ന ഒരാളെപ്പറ്റി ഞങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു അറിയിച്ചു തരട്ടെയോ

8. أَفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَم بِهِۦ جِنَّةُۢۗ بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ وَٱلضَّلَٰلِ ٱلۡبَعِيدِ

   ✦8

   Has he invented about Allah a lie or is there in him madness?" Rather, they who do not believe in the Hereafter will be in the punishment and [are in] extreme error

   അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ അയാള്‍ കള്ളം കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചതാണോ അതല്ല അയാള്‍ക്കു ഭ്രാന്തുണ്ടോ? അല്ല, പരലോകത്തില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവര്‍ ശിക്ഷയിലും വിദൂരമായ വഴികേടിലുമാകുന്നു

9. أَفَلَمۡ يَرَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِن نَّشَأۡ نَخۡسِفۡ بِهِمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ أَوۡ نُسۡقِطۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡ كِسَفٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَةٗ لِّكُلِّ عَبۡدٖ مُّنِيبٖ

   ✦9

   Then, do they not look at what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and earth? If We should will, We could cause the earth to swallow them or [could] let fall upon them fragments from the sky. Indeed in that is a sign for every servant turning back [to Allah]

   അവരുടെ മുമ്പിലും അവരുടെ പിന്നിലുമുള്ള ആകാശത്തേക്കും ഭൂമിയിലേക്കും അവര്‍ നോക്കിയിട്ടില്ലേ? നാം ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ അവരെ നാം ഭൂമിയില്‍ ആഴ്ത്തിക്കളയുകയോ അവരുടെ മേല്‍ ആകാശത്ത് നിന്ന് കഷ്ണങ്ങള്‍ വീഴ്ത്തുകയോ ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്‌. അല്ലാഹുവിലേക്ക് (വിനയാന്വിതനായി) മടങ്ങുന്ന ഏതൊരു ദാസനും തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമുണ്ട്‌

10. ۞وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا دَاوُۥدَ مِنَّا فَضۡلٗاۖ يَٰجِبَالُ أَوِّبِي مَعَهُۥ وَٱلطَّيۡرَۖ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ ٱلۡحَدِيدَ

    ✦10

    And We certainly gave David from Us bounty. [We said], "O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and the birds [as well]." And We made pliable for him iron

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ദാവൂദിന് നാം നമ്മുടെ പക്കല്‍ നിന്ന് അനുഗ്രഹം നല്‍കുകയുണ്ടായി.(നാം നിര്‍ദേശിച്ചു:) പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങളേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പം (കീര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍) ഏറ്റുചൊല്ലുക. പക്ഷികളേ, നിങ്ങളും നാം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഇരുമ്പ് മയപ്പെടുത്തികൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു

11. أَنِ ٱعۡمَلۡ سَٰبِغَٰتٖ وَقَدِّرۡ فِي ٱلسَّرۡدِۖ وَٱعۡمَلُواْ صَٰلِحًاۖ إِنِّي بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِيرٞ

    ✦11

    [Commanding him], "Make full coats of mail and calculate [precisely] the links, and work [all of you] righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Seeing

    പൂര്‍ണ്ണവലുപ്പമുള്ള കവചങ്ങള്‍ നിര്‍മിക്കുകയും, അതിന്‍റെ കണ്ണികള്‍ ശരിയായ അളവിലാക്കുകയും, നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരും സല്‍കര്‍മ്മം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക എന്ന് (നാം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നിര്‍ദേശം നല്‍കി.) തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം കാണുന്നവനാകുന്നു

12. وَلِسُلَيۡمَٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهۡرٞ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهۡرٞۖ وَأَسَلۡنَا لَهُۥ عَيۡنَ ٱلۡقِطۡرِۖ وَمِنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ مَن يَعۡمَلُ بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِ بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِۦۖ وَمَن يَزِغۡ مِنۡهُمۡ عَنۡ أَمۡرِنَا نُذِقۡهُ مِنۡ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

    ✦12

    And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze

    സുലൈമാന്ന് കാറ്റിനെയും (നാം അധീനപ്പെടുത്തികൊടുത്തു.) അതിന്‍റെ പ്രഭാത സഞ്ചാരം ഒരു മാസത്തെ ദൂരവും അതിന്‍റെ സായാഹ്ന സഞ്ചാരം ഒരു മാസത്തെ ദൂരവുമാകുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നാം ചെമ്പിന്‍റെ ഒരു ഉറവ് ഒഴുക്കികൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ കല്‍പനപ്രകാരം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ മുമ്പാകെ ജിന്നുകളില്‍ ചിലര്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവരില്‍ ആരെങ്കിലും നമ്മുടെ കല്‍പനക്ക് എതിരുപ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം നാം അവന്ന് ജ്വലിക്കുന്ന നരകശിക്ഷ ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കുന്നതാണ്‌

13. يَعۡمَلُونَ لَهُۥ مَا يَشَآءُ مِن مَّحَٰرِيبَ وَتَمَٰثِيلَ وَجِفَانٖ كَٱلۡجَوَابِ وَقُدُورٖ رَّاسِيَٰتٍۚ ٱعۡمَلُوٓاْ ءَالَ دَاوُۥدَ شُكۡرٗاۚ وَقَلِيلٞ مِّنۡ عِبَادِيَ ٱلشَّكُورُ

    ✦13

    They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers, statues, bowls like reservoirs, and stationary kettles. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful

    അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് വേണ്ടി ഉന്നത സൌധങ്ങള്‍, ശില്‍പങ്ങള്‍, വലിയ ജലസംഭരണിപോലെയുള്ള തളികകള്‍, നിലത്ത് ഉറപ്പിച്ച് നിര്‍ത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള പാചക പാത്രങ്ങള്‍ എന്നിങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹം ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെന്തും അവര്‍ (ജിന്നുകള്‍) നിര്‍മിച്ചിരുന്നു. ദാവൂദ് കുടുംബമേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ നന്ദിപൂര്‍വ്വം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുക. തികഞ്ഞ നന്ദിയുള്ളവര്‍ എന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാരില്‍ അപൂര്‍വ്വമത്രെ

14. فَلَمَّا قَضَيۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ مَا دَلَّهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَوۡتِهِۦٓ إِلَّا دَآبَّةُ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تَأۡكُلُ مِنسَأَتَهُۥۖ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ ٱلۡجِنُّ أَن لَّوۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡلَمُونَ ٱلۡغَيۡبَ مَا لَبِثُواْ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡمُهِينِ

    ✦14

    And when We decreed for Solomon death, nothing indicated to the jinn his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff. But when he fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment

    നാം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ മേല്‍ മരണം വിധിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ ഊന്നുവടി തിന്നുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ചിതല്‍ മാത്രമാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ മരണത്തെപ്പറ്റി അവര്‍ക്ക് (ജിന്നുകള്‍ക്ക്‌) അറിവ് നല്‍കിയത്‌. അങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹം വീണപ്പോള്‍, തങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അദൃശ്യകാര്യം അറിയാമായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ അപമാനകരമായ ശിക്ഷയില്‍ തങ്ങള്‍ കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടേണ്ടിവരില്ലായിരുന്നു എന്ന് ജിന്നുകള്‍ക്ക് ബോധ്യമായി

15. لَقَدۡ كَانَ لِسَبَإٖ فِي مَسۡكَنِهِمۡ ءَايَةٞۖ جَنَّتَانِ عَن يَمِينٖ وَشِمَالٖۖ كُلُواْ مِن رِّزۡقِ رَبِّكُمۡ وَٱشۡكُرُواْ لَهُۥۚ بَلۡدَةٞ طَيِّبَةٞ وَرَبٌّ غَفُورٞ

    ✦15

    There was for [the tribe of] Saba' in their dwelling place a sign: two [fields of] gardens on the right and on the left. [They were told], "Eat from the provisions of your Lord and be grateful to Him. A good land [have you], and a forgiving Lord

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും സബഅ് ദേശക്കാര്‍ക്ക് തങ്ങളുടെ അധിവാസ കേന്ദ്രത്തില്‍ തന്നെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അതയാത്‌, വലതുഭാഗത്തും ഇടതുഭാഗത്തുമായി രണ്ടു തോട്ടങ്ങള്‍. (അവരോട് പറയപ്പെട്ടു:) നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവ് തന്ന ഉപജീവനത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ ഭക്ഷിക്കുകയും, അവനോട് നിങ്ങള്‍ നന്ദികാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. നല്ലൊരു രാജ്യവും ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്ന രക്ഷിതാവും

16. فَأَعۡرَضُواْ فَأَرۡسَلۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَيۡلَ ٱلۡعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلۡنَٰهُم بِجَنَّتَيۡهِمۡ جَنَّتَيۡنِ ذَوَاتَيۡ أُكُلٍ خَمۡطٖ وَأَثۡلٖ وَشَيۡءٖ مِّن سِدۡرٖ قَلِيلٖ

    ✦16

    But they turned away [refusing], so We sent upon them the flood of the dam, and We replaced their two [fields of] gardens with gardens of bitter fruit, tamarisks and something of sparse lote trees

    എന്നാല്‍ അവര്‍ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞ് കളഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോള്‍ അണക്കെട്ടില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ജലപ്രവാഹത്തെ അവരുടെ നേരെ നാം അയച്ചു. അവരുടെ ആ രണ്ട് തോട്ടങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പകരം കയ്പുള്ള കായ്കനികളും കാറ്റാടി മരവും, അല്‍പം ചില വാകമരങ്ങളും ഉള്ള രണ്ട് തോട്ടങ്ങള്‍ നാം അവര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്തു

17. ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيۡنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُواْۖ وَهَلۡ نُجَٰزِيٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡكَفُورَ

    ✦17

    [By] that We repaid them because they disbelieved. And do We [thus] repay except the ungrateful

    അവര്‍ നന്ദികേട് കാണിച്ചതിന് നാം അവര്‍ക്ക് പ്രതിഫലമായി നല്‍കിയതാണത്‌. കടുത്ത നന്ദികേട് കാണിക്കുന്നവന്‍റെ നേരെയല്ലാതെ നാം ശിക്ഷാനടപടി എടുക്കുമോ

18. وَجَعَلۡنَا بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡقُرَى ٱلَّتِي بَٰرَكۡنَا فِيهَا قُرٗى ظَٰهِرَةٗ وَقَدَّرۡنَا فِيهَا ٱلسَّيۡرَۖ سِيرُواْ فِيهَا لَيَالِيَ وَأَيَّامًا ءَامِنِينَ

    ✦18

    And We placed between them and the cities which We had blessed [many] visible cities. And We determined between them the [distances of] journey, [saying], "Travel between them by night or day in safety

    അവര്‍ക്കും (സബഅ് ദേശക്കാര്‍ക്കും) നാം അനുഗ്രഹം നല്‍കിയ (സിറിയന്‍) ഗ്രാമങ്ങള്‍ക്കുമിടയില്‍ തെളിഞ്ഞ് കാണാവുന്ന പല ഗ്രാമങ്ങളും നാം ഉണ്ടാക്കി. അവിടെ നാം യാത്രയ്ക്ക് താവളങ്ങള്‍ നിര്‍ണയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. രാപകലുകളില്‍ നിര്‍ഭയരായിക്കൊണ്ട് നിങ്ങള്‍ അതിലൂടെ സഞ്ചരിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക. (എന്ന് നാം നിര്‍ദേശിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു)

19. فَقَالُواْ رَبَّنَا بَٰعِدۡ بَيۡنَ أَسۡفَارِنَا وَظَلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُمۡ أَحَادِيثَ وَمَزَّقۡنَٰهُمۡ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٖ شَكُورٖ

    ✦19

    But [insolently] they said, "Our Lord, lengthen the distance between our journeys," and wronged themselves, so We made them narrations and dispersed them in total dispersion. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful

    അപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ യാത്രാതാവളങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ നീ അകലമുണ്ടാക്കണമേ. അങ്ങനെ തങ്ങള്‍ക്കു തന്നെ അവര്‍ ദ്രോഹം വരുത്തി വെച്ചു. അപ്പോള്‍ നാം അവരെ കഥാവശേഷരാക്കി കളഞ്ഞു. അവരെ നാം സര്‍വ്വത്ര ഛിന്നഭിന്നമാക്കി ക്ഷമാശീലനും നന്ദിയുള്ളവനുമായ ഏതൊരാള്‍ക്കും തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളുണ്ട്‌

20. وَلَقَدۡ صَدَّقَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ إِبۡلِيسُ ظَنَّهُۥ فَٱتَّبَعُوهُ إِلَّا فَرِيقٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

    ✦20

    And Iblees had already confirmed through them his assumption, so they followed him, except for a party of believers

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും തന്‍റെ ധാരണ ശരിയാണെന്ന് ഇബ്ലീസ് അവരില്‍ തെളിയിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ അവനെ പിന്തുടര്‍ന്നു. ഒരു സംഘം സത്യവിശ്വാസികളൊഴികെ

21. وَمَا كَانَ لَهُۥ عَلَيۡهِم مِّن سُلۡطَٰنٍ إِلَّا لِنَعۡلَمَ مَن يُؤۡمِنُ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ مِمَّنۡ هُوَ مِنۡهَا فِي شَكّٖۗ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ حَفِيظٞ

    ✦21

    And he had over them no authority except [it was decreed] that We might make evident who believes in the Hereafter from who is thereof in doubt. And your Lord, over all things, is Guardian

    അവന്ന് (ഇബ്ലീസിന്‌) അവരുടെ മേല്‍ യാതൊരധികാരവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. പരലോകത്തില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരെ അതിനെ പറ്റി സംശയത്തില്‍ കഴിയുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് നാം തിരിച്ചറിയുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടി മാത്രമാണിത്‌. നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് ഏതു കാര്യവും നിരീക്ഷിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവനാകുന്നു

22. قُلِ ٱدۡعُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ زَعَمۡتُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَلَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا لَهُمۡ فِيهِمَا مِن شِرۡكٖ وَمَا لَهُۥ مِنۡهُم مِّن ظَهِيرٖ

    ✦22

    Say, [O Muhammad], "Invoke those you claim [as deities] besides Allah." They do not possess an atom's weight [of ability] in the heavens or on the earth, and they do not have therein any partnership [with Him], nor is there for Him from among them any assistant

    പറയുക: അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ നിങ്ങള്‍ ജല്‍പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവരോടെല്ലാം നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ച് നോക്കുക. ആകാശത്തിലാകട്ടെ ഭൂമിയിലാകട്ടെ ഒരു അണുവിന്‍റെ തൂക്കം പോലും അവര്‍ ഉടമപ്പെടുത്തുന്നില്ല. അവ രണ്ടിലും അവര്‍ക്ക് യാതൊരു പങ്കുമില്ല. അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ അവന്ന് സഹായിയായി ആരുമില്ല

23. وَلَا تَنفَعُ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا لِمَنۡ أَذِنَ لَهُۥۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُزِّعَ عَن قُلُوبِهِمۡ قَالُواْ مَاذَا قَالَ رَبُّكُمۡۖ قَالُواْ ٱلۡحَقَّۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيُّ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ

    ✦23

    And intercession does not benefit with Him except for one whom He permits. [And those wait] until, when terror is removed from their hearts, they will say [to one another], "What has your Lord said?" They will say, "The truth." And He is the Most High, the Grand

    ആര്‍ക്കു വേണ്ടി അവന്‍ അനുമതി നല്‍കിയോ അവര്‍ക്കല്ലാതെ അവന്‍റെ അടുക്കല്‍ ശുപാര്‍ശ പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുകയുമില്ല. അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് പരിഭ്രമം നീങ്ങികഴിയുമ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ ചോദിക്കും; നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവ് എന്താണു പറഞ്ഞതെന്ന് അവര്‍ മറുപടി പറയും: സത്യമാണ് (അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞത്‌) അവന്‍ ഉന്നതനും മഹാനുമാകുന്നു

24. ۞قُلۡ مَن يَرۡزُقُكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۖ وَإِنَّآ أَوۡ إِيَّاكُمۡ لَعَلَىٰ هُدًى أَوۡ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ

    ✦24

    Say, "Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "Allah. And indeed, we or you are either upon guidance or in clear error

    ചോദിക്കുക: ആകാശങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും ഭൂമിയില്‍ നിന്നും നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഉപജീവനം നല്‍കുന്നവന്‍ ആരാകുന്നു? നീ പറയുക: അല്ലാഹുവാകുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഒന്നുകില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ സന്‍മാര്‍ഗത്തിലാകുന്നു. അല്ലെങ്കില്‍ വ്യക്തമായ ദുര്‍മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍

25. قُل لَّا تُسۡـَٔلُونَ عَمَّآ أَجۡرَمۡنَا وَلَا نُسۡـَٔلُ عَمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ

    ✦25

    Say, "You will not be asked about what we committed, and we will not be asked about what you do

    പറയുക: ഞങ്ങള്‍ കുറ്റം ചെയ്തതിനെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങള്‍ ചോദിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല. നിങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നതിനെ പറ്റി ഞങ്ങളും ചോദിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല

26. قُلۡ يَجۡمَعُ بَيۡنَنَا رَبُّنَا ثُمَّ يَفۡتَحُ بَيۡنَنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَهُوَ ٱلۡفَتَّاحُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

    ✦26

    Say, "Our Lord will bring us together; then He will judge between us in truth. And He is the Knowing Judge

    പറയുക: നമ്മുടെ രക്ഷിതാവ് നമ്മെ തമ്മില്‍ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടുകയും, അനന്തരം നമുക്കിടയില്‍ അവന്‍ സത്യപ്രകാരം തീര്‍പ്പുകല്‍പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്‌. അവന്‍ സര്‍വ്വജ്ഞനായ തീര്‍പ്പുകാരനത്രെ

27. قُلۡ أَرُونِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَلۡحَقۡتُم بِهِۦ شُرَكَآءَۖ كَلَّاۚ بَلۡ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ

    ✦27

    Say, "Show me those whom you have attached to Him as partners. No! Rather, He [alone] is Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise

    പറയുക: പങ്കുകാരെന്ന നിലയില്‍ അവനോട് (അല്ലാഹുവോട്‌) നിങ്ങള്‍ കൂട്ടിചേര്‍ത്തിട്ടുള്ളവരെ എനിക്ക് നിങ്ങളൊന്ന് കാണിച്ചുതരൂ. ഇല്ല, (അങ്ങനെ ഒരു പങ്കാളിയുമില്ല.) എന്നാല്‍ അവന്‍ പ്രതാപിയും യുക്തിമാനുമായ അല്ലാഹുവത്രെ

28. وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ إِلَّا كَآفَّةٗ لِّلنَّاسِ بَشِيرٗا وَنَذِيرٗا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

    ✦28

    And We have not sent you except comprehensively to mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. But most of the people do not know

    നിന്നെ നാം മനുഷ്യര്‍ക്കാകമാനം സന്തോഷവാര്‍ത്ത അറിയിക്കുവാനും താക്കീത് നല്‍കുവാനും ആയികൊണ്ട് തന്നെയാണ് അയച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്‌. പക്ഷെ, മനുഷ്യരില്‍ അധികപേരും അറിയുന്നില്ല

29. وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا ٱلۡوَعۡدُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

    ✦29

    And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful

    അവര്‍ ചോദിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങള്‍ സത്യവാദികളാണെങ്കില്‍, ഈ താക്കീത് എപ്പോഴാണ് (പുലരുക) എന്ന്‌

30. قُل لَّكُم مِّيعَادُ يَوۡمٖ لَّا تَسۡتَـٔۡخِرُونَ عَنۡهُ سَاعَةٗ وَلَا تَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ

    ✦30

    Say, "For you is the appointment of a Day [when] you will not remain thereafter an hour, nor will you precede [it]

    പറയുക: നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കൊരു നിശ്ചിത ദിവസമുണ്ട്‌. അത് വിട്ട് ഒരു നിമിഷം പോലും നിങ്ങള്‍ പിന്നോട്ട് പോകുകയോ, മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുകയോ ഇല്ല

31. وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَن نُّؤۡمِنَ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ وَلَا بِٱلَّذِي بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡهِۗ وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذِ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ مَوۡقُوفُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمۡ يَرۡجِعُ بَعۡضُهُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضٍ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ يَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ لَوۡلَآ أَنتُمۡ لَكُنَّا مُؤۡمِنِينَ

    ✦31

    And those who disbelieve say, "We will never believe in this Qur'an nor in that before it." But if you could see when the wrongdoers are made to stand before their Lord, refuting each other's words... Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "If not for you, we would have been believers

    ഈ ഖുര്‍ആനിലാകട്ടെ, ഇതിന് മുമ്പുള്ള വേദത്തിലാകട്ടെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നതേ അല്ല എന്ന് സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. (നബിയേ,) ഈ അക്രമികള്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ അടുക്കല്‍ നിര്‍ത്തപ്പെടുന്ന സന്ദര്‍ഭം നീ കണ്ടിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍! അവരില്‍ ഓരോ വിഭാഗവും മറുവിഭാഗത്തിന്‍റെ മേല്‍ കുറ്റം ആരോപിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും. ബലഹീനരായി ഗണിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ വലുപ്പം നടിച്ചിരുന്നവരോട് പറയും: നിങ്ങളില്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ വിശ്വാസികളായിരുന്നേനെ

32. قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُوٓاْ أَنَحۡنُ صَدَدۡنَٰكُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ بَعۡدَ إِذۡ جَآءَكُمۖ بَلۡ كُنتُم مُّجۡرِمِينَ

    ✦32

    Those who were arrogant will say to those who were oppressed, "Did we avert you from guidance after it had come to you? Rather, you were criminals

    വലുപ്പം നടിച്ചവര്‍ ബലഹീനരായി ഗണിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരോട് പറയും: മാര്‍ഗദര്‍ശനം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വന്നെത്തിയതിന് ശേഷം അതില്‍ നിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ തടഞ്ഞത് ഞങ്ങളാണോ? അല്ല, നിങ്ങള്‍ കുറ്റവാളികള്‍ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു

33. وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتُضۡعِفُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ بَلۡ مَكۡرُ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذۡ تَأۡمُرُونَنَآ أَن نَّكۡفُرَ بِٱللَّهِ وَنَجۡعَلَ لَهُۥٓ أَندَادٗاۚ وَأَسَرُّواْ ٱلنَّدَامَةَ لَمَّا رَأَوُاْ ٱلۡعَذَابَۚ وَجَعَلۡنَا ٱلۡأَغۡلَٰلَ فِيٓ أَعۡنَاقِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْۖ هَلۡ يُجۡزَوۡنَ إِلَّا مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

    ✦33

    Those who were oppressed will say to those who were arrogant, "Rather, [it was your] conspiracy of night and day when you were ordering us to disbelieve in Allah and attribute to Him equals." But they will [all] confide regret when they see the punishment; and We will put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved. Will they be recompensed except for what they used to do

    ബലഹീനരായി ഗണിക്കപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ വലുപ്പം നടിച്ചവരോട് പറയും: അല്ല, ഞങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവില്‍ അവിശ്വസിക്കാനും, അവന്ന് സമന്‍മാരെ സ്ഥാപിക്കുവാനും നിങ്ങള്‍ ഞങ്ങളോട് കല്‍പിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന സന്ദര്‍ഭത്തില്‍ (നിങ്ങള്‍) രാവും പകലും നടത്തിയ കുതന്ത്രത്തിന്‍റെ ഫലമാണത്‌. ശിക്ഷ കാണുമ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ ഖേദം മനസ്സില്‍ ഒളിപ്പിക്കും. സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ കഴുത്തുകളില്‍ നാം ചങ്ങലകള്‍ വെക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. തങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചിരുന്നതിന്‍റെ ഫലമല്ലാതെ അവര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കപ്പെടുമോ

34. وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا فِي قَرۡيَةٖ مِّن نَّذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتۡرَفُوهَآ إِنَّا بِمَآ أُرۡسِلۡتُم بِهِۦ كَٰفِرُونَ

    ✦34

    And We did not send into a city any warner except that its affluent said, "Indeed we, in that with which you were sent, are disbelievers

    ഏതൊരു നാട്ടില്‍ നാം താക്കീതുകാരനെ അയച്ചപ്പോഴും, നിങ്ങള്‍ എന്തൊന്നുമായി നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നുവോ അതില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ അവിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരാകുന്നു എന്ന് അവിടത്തെ സുഖലോലുപര്‍ പറയാതിരുന്നിട്ടില്ല

35. وَقَالُواْ نَحۡنُ أَكۡثَرُ أَمۡوَٰلٗا وَأَوۡلَٰدٗا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ

    ✦35

    And they said, "We are more [than the believers] in wealth and children, and we are not to be punished

    അവര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ സ്വത്തുക്കളും സന്താനങ്ങളുമുള്ളവരാകുന്നു. ഞങ്ങള്‍ ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരല്ല

36. قُلۡ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَقۡدِرُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ

    ✦36

    Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills and restricts [it], but most of the people do not know

    നീ പറയുക: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് താന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഉപജീവനം വിശാലമാക്കുകയും (താന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക്‌) അത് ഇടുങ്ങിയതാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. പക്ഷെ ജനങ്ങളില്‍ അധികപേരും അറിയുന്നില്ല

37. وَمَآ أَمۡوَٰلُكُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُكُم بِٱلَّتِي تُقَرِّبُكُمۡ عِندَنَا زُلۡفَىٰٓ إِلَّا مَنۡ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمۡ جَزَآءُ ٱلضِّعۡفِ بِمَا عَمِلُواْ وَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡغُرُفَٰتِ ءَامِنُونَ

    ✦37

    And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by being] one who has believed and done righteousness. For them there will be the double reward for what they did, and they will be in the upper chambers [of Paradise], safe [and secure]

    നിങ്ങളുടെ സമ്പത്തുക്കളും നിങ്ങളുടെ സന്താനങ്ങളുമൊന്നും നമ്മുടെ അടുക്കല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സാമീപ്യമുണ്ടാക്കിത്തരുന്നവയല്ല. വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും നല്ലത് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവര്‍ക്കൊഴികെ. അത്തരക്കാര്‍ക്ക് തങ്ങള്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചതിന്‍റെ ഫലമായി ഇരട്ടി പ്രതിഫലമുണ്ട്‌. അവര്‍ ഉന്നത സൌധങ്ങളില്‍ നിര്‍ഭയരായി കഴിയുന്നതുമാണ്‌

38. وَٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡعَوۡنَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِنَا مُعَٰجِزِينَ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ مُحۡضَرُونَ

    ✦38

    And the ones who strive against Our verses to cause [them] failure - those will be brought into the punishment [to remain]

    (നമ്മെ) തോല്‍പിക്കുവാനായി നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളെ എതിര്‍ക്കുവാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നവരാരോ അവര്‍ ശിക്ഷയില്‍ ഹാജരാക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരാകുന്നു

39. قُلۡ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقۡدِرُ لَهُۥۚ وَمَآ أَنفَقۡتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَهُوَ يُخۡلِفُهُۥۖ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّـٰزِقِينَ

    ✦39

    Say, "Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts [it] for him. But whatever thing you spend [in His cause] - He will compensate it; and He is the best of providers

    നീ പറയുക: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് തന്‍റെ ദാസന്‍മാരില്‍ നിന്ന് താന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഉപജീവനം വിശാലമാക്കുകയും, താന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഇടുങ്ങിയതാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതാണ്‌. നിങ്ങള്‍ എന്തൊന്ന് ചെലവഴിച്ചാലും അവന്‍ അതിന് പകരം നല്‍കുന്നതാണ്‌. അവന്‍ ഉപജീവനം നല്‍കുന്നവരില്‍ ഏറ്റവും ഉത്തമനത്രെ

40. وَيَوۡمَ يَحۡشُرُهُمۡ جَمِيعٗا ثُمَّ يَقُولُ لِلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ أَهَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِيَّاكُمۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ

    ✦40

    And [mention] the Day when He will gather them all and then say to the angels, "Did these [people] used to worship you

    അവരെ മുഴുവന്‍ അവന്‍ ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടുന്ന ദിവസം (ശ്രദ്ധേയമാകുന്നു.) എന്നിട്ട് അവന്‍ മലക്കുകളോട് ചോദിക്കും: നിങ്ങളെയാണോ ഇക്കൂട്ടര്‍ ആരാധിച്ചിരുന്നത്

41. قَالُواْ سُبۡحَٰنَكَ أَنتَ وَلِيُّنَا مِن دُونِهِمۖ بَلۡ كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ ٱلۡجِنَّۖ أَكۡثَرُهُم بِهِم مُّؤۡمِنُونَ

    ✦41

    They will say, "Exalted are You! You, [O Allah], are our benefactor not them. Rather, they used to worship the jinn; most of them were believers in them

    അവര്‍ പറയും: നീ എത്ര പരിശുദ്ധന്‍! നീയാണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷാധികാരി. അവരല്ല. എന്നാല്‍ അവര്‍ ജിന്നുകളെയായിരുന്നു ആരാധിച്ചിരുന്നത്. അവരില്‍ അധികപേരും അവരില്‍ (ജിന്നുകളില്‍) വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവരത്രെ

42. فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ لَا يَمۡلِكُ بَعۡضُكُمۡ لِبَعۡضٖ نَّفۡعٗا وَلَا ضَرّٗا وَنَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ ذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ ٱلَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ

    ✦42

    But today you do not hold for one another [the power of] benefit or harm, and We will say to those who wronged, "Taste the punishment of the Fire, which you used to deny

    ആകയാല്‍ അന്ന് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അന്യോന്യം ഉപകാരമോ ഉപദ്രവമോ ചെയ്യാന്‍ കഴിവുണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതല്ല. അക്രമം ചെയ്തവരോട് നിങ്ങള്‍ നിഷേധിച്ച് തള്ളിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ആ നരക ശിക്ഷ നിങ്ങള്‍ ആസ്വദിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക. എന്ന് നാം പറയുകയും ചെയ്യും

43. وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٖ قَالُواْ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّا رَجُلٞ يُرِيدُ أَن يَصُدَّكُمۡ عَمَّا كَانَ يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُكُمۡ وَقَالُواْ مَا هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ إِفۡكٞ مُّفۡتَرٗىۚ وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ

    ✦43

    And when our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, they say, "This is not but a man who wishes to avert you from that which your fathers were worshipping." And they say, "This is not except a lie invented." And those who disbelieve say of the truth when it has come to them, "This is not but obvious magic

    നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള്‍ സ്പഷ്ടമായ നിലയില്‍ അവര്‍ക്ക് വായിച്ചുകേള്‍പിക്കപ്പെട്ടാല്‍ അവര്‍ (ജനങ്ങളോട്‌) പറയും: നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്‍മാര്‍ ആരാധിച്ച് വന്നിരുന്നതില്‍ നിന്ന് നിങ്ങളെ തടയുവാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ഒരാള്‍ മാത്രമാണിത്‌. ഇത് കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയ കള്ളം മാത്രമാണ് എന്നും അവര്‍ പറയും. തങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സത്യം വന്നുകിട്ടിയപ്പോള്‍ അതിനെ പറ്റി അവിശ്വാസികള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു: ഇത് സ്പഷ്ടമായ ജാലവിദ്യ മാത്രമാകുന്നു

44. وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم مِّن كُتُبٖ يَدۡرُسُونَهَاۖ وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِمۡ قَبۡلَكَ مِن نَّذِيرٖ

    ✦44

    And We had not given them any scriptures which they could study, and We had not sent to them before you, [O Muhammad], any warner

    അവര്‍ക്ക് പഠിക്കാനുള്ള വേദഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളൊന്നും നാം അവര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കിയിരുന്നില്ല. നിനക്ക് മുമ്പ് അവരിലേക്ക് ഒരു താക്കീതുകാരനെയും നാം നിയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നുമില്ല

45. وَكَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَمَا بَلَغُواْ مِعۡشَارَ مَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ فَكَذَّبُواْ رُسُلِيۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ

    ✦45

    And those before them denied, and the people of Makkah have not attained a tenth of what We had given them. But the former peoples denied My messengers, so how [terrible] was My reproach

    ഇവര്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പുള്ളവരും നിഷേധിച്ച് തള്ളിയിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. അവര്‍ക്ക് നാം കൊടുത്തിരുന്നതിന്‍റെ പത്തിലൊന്നുപോലും ഇവര്‍ നേടിയിട്ടില്ല. അങ്ങനെ നമ്മുടെ ദൂതന്‍മാരെ അവര്‍ നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളി. അപ്പോള്‍ എന്‍റെ രോഷം എങ്ങനെയുള്ളതായിരുന്നു

46. ۞قُلۡ إِنَّمَآ أَعِظُكُم بِوَٰحِدَةٍۖ أَن تَقُومُواْ لِلَّهِ مَثۡنَىٰ وَفُرَٰدَىٰ ثُمَّ تَتَفَكَّرُواْۚ مَا بِصَاحِبِكُم مِّن جِنَّةٍۚ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٞ لَّكُم بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡ عَذَابٖ شَدِيدٖ

    ✦46

    Say, "I only advise you of one [thing] - that you stand for Allah, [seeking truth] in pairs and individually, and then give thought." There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment

    നീ പറയുക: ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളോട് ഒരു കാര്യം മാത്രമേ ഉപദേശിക്കുന്നുള്ളൂ. അല്ലാഹുവിന് വേണ്ടി നിങ്ങള്‍ ഈരണ്ടു പേരായോ ഒറ്റയായോ നില്‍ക്കുകയും എന്നിട്ട് നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യണമെന്ന്. നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്ന് (മുഹമ്മദ് നബി (സ)ക്ക്‌) യാതൊരു ഭ്രാന്തുമില്ല. ഭയങ്കരമായ ശിക്ഷയുടെ മുമ്പില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു താക്കീത് നല്‍കുന്ന ആള്‍ മാത്രമാകുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം

47. قُلۡ مَا سَأَلۡتُكُم مِّنۡ أَجۡرٖ فَهُوَ لَكُمۡۖ إِنۡ أَجۡرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱللَّهِۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٞ

    ✦47

    Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you - it is yours. My payment is only from Allah, and He is, over all things, Witness

    നീ പറയുക: നിങ്ങളോട് ഞാന്‍ വല്ല പ്രതിഫലവും ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അത് നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടിതന്നെയാകുന്നു. എനിക്കുള്ള പ്രതിഫലം അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് മാത്രമാകുന്നു. അവന്‍ എല്ലാകാര്യത്തിനും സാക്ഷിയാകുന്നു

48. قُلۡ إِنَّ رَبِّي يَقۡذِفُ بِٱلۡحَقِّ عَلَّـٰمُ ٱلۡغُيُوبِ

    ✦48

    Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth. Knower of the unseen

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് സത്യത്തെ ഇട്ടുതരുന്നു. (അവന്‍) അദൃശ്യകാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നല്ലവണ്ണം അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു

49. قُلۡ جَآءَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَمَا يُبۡدِئُ ٱلۡبَٰطِلُ وَمَا يُعِيدُ

    ✦49

    Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]

    നീ പറയുക: സത്യം വന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞു. അസത്യം (യാതൊന്നിനും) തുടക്കം കുറിക്കുകയില്ല. (യാതൊന്നും) പുനസ്ഥാപിക്കുകയുമില്ല

50. قُلۡ إِن ضَلَلۡتُ فَإِنَّمَآ أَضِلُّ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِيۖ وَإِنِ ٱهۡتَدَيۡتُ فَبِمَا يُوحِيٓ إِلَيَّ رَبِّيٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ سَمِيعٞ قَرِيبٞ

    ✦50

    Say, "If I should err, I would only err against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and near

    നീ പറയുക: ഞാന്‍ പിഴച്ച് പോയിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ ഞാന്‍ പിഴക്കുന്നതിന്‍റെ ദോഷം എനിക്കു തന്നെയാണ്‌. ഞാന്‍ നേര്‍മാര്‍ഗം പ്രാപിച്ചുവെങ്കിലോ അത് എനിക്ക് എന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് ബോധനം നല്‍കുന്നതിന്‍റെ ഫലമായിട്ടാണ്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ കേള്‍ക്കുന്നവനും സമീപസ്ഥനുമാകുന്നു

51. وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰٓ إِذۡ فَزِعُواْ فَلَا فَوۡتَ وَأُخِذُواْ مِن مَّكَانٖ قَرِيبٖ

    ✦51

    And if you could see when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be seized from a place nearby

    അവര്‍ (സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍) പരിഭ്രാന്തരായിപോയ സന്ദര്‍ഭം നീ കണ്ടിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ എന്നാല്‍ അവര്‍ (പിടിയില്‍ നിന്ന്‌) ഒഴിവാകുകയില്ല. അടുത്ത സ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്ന് തന്നെ അവര്‍ പിടിക്കപ്പെടും

52. وَقَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلتَّنَاوُشُ مِن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِيدٖ

    ✦52

    And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away

    ഇതില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ വിശ്വസിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നവര്‍ പറയുകയും ചെയ്യും. വിദൂരമായ ഒരു സ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്ന് അവര്‍ക്ക് എങ്ങനെയാണ് (ആ വിശ്വാസം) നേടിയെടുക്കാന്‍ കഴിയുക

53. وَقَدۡ كَفَرُواْ بِهِۦ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَيَقۡذِفُونَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ مِن مَّكَانِۭ بَعِيدٖ

    ✦53

    And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away

    മുമ്പ് അവര്‍ അതില്‍ അവിശ്വസിച്ചതായിരുന്നു. വിദൂരസ്ഥലത്ത് നിന്ന് നേരിട്ടറിയാതെ അവര്‍ ആരോപണം ഉന്നയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു

54. وَحِيلَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ وَبَيۡنَ مَا يَشۡتَهُونَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِأَشۡيَاعِهِم مِّن قَبۡلُۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ فِي شَكّٖ مُّرِيبِۭ

    ✦54

    And prevention will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting denial

    അങ്ങനെ മുമ്പ് അവരുടെ പക്ഷക്കാരെക്കൊണ്ട് ചെയ്തത് പോലെത്തന്നെ അവര്‍ക്കും അവര്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തിനുമിടയില്‍ തടസ്സം സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ അവിശ്വാസജനകമായ സംശയത്തിലായിരുന്നു
