النازعات

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. وَٱلنَّـٰزِعَٰتِ غَرۡقٗا

   ✦1

   By those [angels] who extract with violence

   (അവിശ്വാസികളിലേക്ക്‌) ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്ന് (അവരുടെ ആത്മാവുകളെ) ഊരിയെടുക്കുന്നവ തന്നെയാണ സത്യം

2. وَٱلنَّـٰشِطَٰتِ نَشۡطٗا

   ✦2

   And [by] those who remove with ease

   (സത്യവിശ്വാസികളുടെ ആത്മാവുകളെ) സൌമ്യതയോടെ പുറത്തെടുക്കുന്നവ തന്നെയാണ, സത്യം

3. وَٱلسَّـٰبِحَٰتِ سَبۡحٗا

   ✦3

   And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming

   ഊക്കോടെ ഒഴുകി വരുന്നവ തന്നെയാണ, സത്യം

4. فَٱلسَّـٰبِقَٰتِ سَبۡقٗا

   ✦4

   And those who race each other in a race

   എന്നിട്ടു മുന്നോട്ടു കുതിച്ചു പോകുന്നവ തന്നെയാണ, സത്യം

5. فَٱلۡمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمۡرٗا

   ✦5

   And those who arrange [each] matter

   കാര്യം നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നവയും തന്നെയാണ, സത്യം

6. يَوۡمَ تَرۡجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ

   ✦6

   On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation]

   ആ നടുക്കുന്ന സംഭവം നടുക്കമുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന ദിവസം

7. تَتۡبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ

   ✦7

   There will follow it the subsequent [one]

   അതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് അതിന്‍റെ പിന്നാലെ മറ്റൊന്നും

8. قُلُوبٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ وَاجِفَةٌ

   ✦8

   Hearts, that Day, will tremble

   ചില ഹൃദയങ്ങള്‍ അന്നു വിറച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കും

9. أَبۡصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٞ

   ✦9

   Their eyes humbled

   അവയുടെ കണ്ണുകള്‍ അന്ന് കീഴ്പോട്ടു താഴ്ന്നിരിക്കും

10. يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرۡدُودُونَ فِي ٱلۡحَافِرَةِ

    ✦10

    They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]

    അവര്‍ പറയും: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നാം (നമ്മുടെ) മുന്‍സ്ഥിതിയിലേക്ക് മടക്കപ്പെടുന്നവരാണോ

11. أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمٗا نَّخِرَةٗ

    ✦11

    Even if we should be decayed bones

    നാം ജീര്‍ണിച്ച എല്ലുകളായി കഴിഞ്ഞാലും (നമുക്ക് മടക്കമോ)

12. قَالُواْ تِلۡكَ إِذٗا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٞ

    ✦12

    They say, "That, then, would be a losing return

    അവര്‍ പറയുകയാണ്‌: അങ്ങനെയാണെങ്കില്‍ നഷ്ടകരമായ ഒരു തിരിച്ചുവരവായിരിക്കും അത്‌

13. فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ

    ✦13

    Indeed, it will be but one shout

    അത് ഒരേയൊരു ഘോരശബ്ദം മാത്രമായിരിക്കും

14. فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ

    ✦14

    And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface

    അപ്പോഴതാ അവര്‍ ഭൂമുഖത്തെത്തിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു

15. هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ

    ✦15

    Has there reached you the story of Moses

    മൂസാനബിയുടെ വര്‍ത്തമാനം നിനക്ക് വന്നെത്തിയോ

16. إِذۡ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلۡوَادِ ٱلۡمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى

    ✦16

    When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa

    ത്വുവാ എന്ന പരിശുദ്ധ താഴ്‌വരയില്‍ വെച്ച് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വിളിച്ച് ഇപ്രകാരം പറഞ്ഞ സന്ദര്‍ഭം

17. ٱذۡهَبۡ إِلَىٰ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ

    ✦17

    Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed

    നീ ഫിര്‍ഔന്‍റെ അടുത്തേക്കു പോകുക. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവന്‍ അതിരുകവിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു

18. فَقُلۡ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ

    ✦18

    And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself

    എന്നിട്ട് ചോദിക്കുക: നീ പരിശുദ്ധി പ്രാപിക്കാന്‍ തയ്യാറുണ്ടോ

19. وَأَهۡدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخۡشَىٰ

    ✦19

    And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]

    നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്ക് നിനക്ക് ഞാന്‍ വഴി കാണിച്ചുതരാം. എന്നിട്ട് നീ ഭയപ്പെടാനും (തയ്യാറുണ്ടോ)

20. فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلۡأٓيَةَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ

    ✦20

    And he showed him the greatest sign

    അങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹം (മൂസാ) അവന്ന് ആ മഹത്തായ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം കാണിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു

21. فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ

    ✦21

    But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed

    അപ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളുകയും ധിക്കരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു

22. ثُمَّ أَدۡبَرَ يَسۡعَىٰ

    ✦22

    Then he turned his back, striving

    പിന്നെ, അവന്‍ എതിര്‍ ശ്രമങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തുവാനായി പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞു പോയി

23. فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ

    ✦23

    And he gathered [his people] and called out

    അങ്ങനെ അവന്‍ (തന്‍റെ ആള്‍ക്കാരെ) ശേഖരിച്ചു. എന്നിട്ടു വിളംബരം ചെയ്തു

24. فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

    ✦24

    And said, "I am your most exalted lord

    ഞാന്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ അത്യുന്നതനായ രക്ഷിതാവാകുന്നു എന്ന് അവന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു

25. فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ

    ✦25

    So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression]

    അപ്പോള്‍ പരലോകത്തിലെയും ഇഹലോകത്തിലെയും ശിക്ഷയ്ക്കായി അല്ലാഹു അവനെ പിടികൂടി

26. إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبۡرَةٗ لِّمَن يَخۡشَىٰٓ

    ✦26

    Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah]

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അതില്‍ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഒരു ഗുണപാഠമുണ്ട്‌

27. ءَأَنتُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَمِ ٱلسَّمَآءُۚ بَنَىٰهَا

    ✦27

    Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it

    നിങ്ങളാണോ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടാന്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ പ്രയാസമുള്ളവര്‍. അതല്ല; ആകാശമാണോ? അതിനെ അവന്‍ നിര്‍മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു

28. رَفَعَ سَمۡكَهَا فَسَوَّىٰهَا

    ✦28

    He raised its ceiling and proportioned it

    അതിന്‍റെ വിതാനം അവന്‍ ഉയര്‍ത്തുകയും, അതിനെ അവന്‍ വ്യവസ്ഥപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

29. وَأَغۡطَشَ لَيۡلَهَا وَأَخۡرَجَ ضُحَىٰهَا

    ✦29

    And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness

    അതിലെ രാത്രിയെ അവന്‍ ഇരുട്ടാക്കുകയും, അതിലെ പകലിനെ അവന്‍ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

30. وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ

    ✦30

    And after that He spread the earth

    അതിനു ശേഷം ഭൂമിയെ അവന്‍ വികസിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു

31. أَخۡرَجَ مِنۡهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرۡعَىٰهَا

    ✦31

    He extracted from it its water and its pasture

    അതില്‍ നിന്ന് അതിലെ വെള്ളവും സസ്യജാലങ്ങളും അവന്‍ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരികയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

32. وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَرۡسَىٰهَا

    ✦32

    And the mountains He set firmly

    പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങളെ അവന്‍ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു നിര്‍ത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു

33. مَتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ

    ✦33

    As provision for you and your grazing livestock

    നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കും നിങ്ങളുടെ കന്നുകാലികള്‍ക്കും ഉപയോഗത്തിനായിട്ട്‌

34. فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ

    ✦34

    But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity

    എന്നാല്‍ ആ മഹാ വിപത്ത് വരുന്ന സന്ദര്‍ഭം

35. يَوۡمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ

    ✦35

    The Day when man will remember that for which he strove

    അതായതു മനുഷ്യന്‍ താന്‍ അദ്ധ്വാനിച്ചു വെച്ചതിനെപ്പറ്റി ഓര്‍മിക്കുന്ന ദിവസം

36. وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلۡجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ

    ✦36

    And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see

    കാണുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി നരകം വെളിവാക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ദിവസം

37. فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ

    ✦37

    So as for he who transgressed

    (അന്ന്‌) ആര്‍ അതിരുകവിയുകയും

38. وَءَاثَرَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا

    ✦38

    And preferred the life of the world

    ഇഹലോകജീവിതത്തിനു കൂടുതല്‍ പ്രാധാന്യം നല്‍കുകയും ചെയ്തുവോ

39. فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ

    ✦39

    Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge

    (അവന്ന്‌) കത്തിജ്വലിക്കുന്ന നരകം തന്നെയാണ് സങ്കേതം

40. وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفۡسَ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰ

    ✦40

    But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination

    അപ്പോള്‍ ഏതൊരാള്‍ തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ സ്ഥാനത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും മനസ്സിനെ തന്നിഷ്ടത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് വിലക്കിനിര്‍ത്തുകയും ചെയ്തുവോ

41. فَإِنَّ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ هِيَ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰ

    ✦41

    Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge

    (അവന്ന്‌) സ്വര്‍ഗം തന്നെയാണ് സങ്കേതം

42. يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرۡسَىٰهَا

    ✦42

    They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival

    ആ അന്ത്യസമയത്തെപ്പറ്റി, അതെപ്പോഴാണ് സംഭവിക്കുക എന്ന് അവര്‍ നിന്നോട് ചോദിക്കുന്നു

43. فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكۡرَىٰهَآ

    ✦43

    In what [position] are you that you should mention it

    നിനക്ക് അതിനെപ്പറ്റി എന്ത് പറയാനാണുള്ളത്‌

44. إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَىٰهَآ

    ✦44

    To your Lord is its finality

    നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്കാണ് അതിന്‍റെ കലാശം

45. إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰهَا

    ✦45

    You are only a warner for those who fear it

    അതിനെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഒരു താക്കീതുകാരന്‍ മാത്രമാണ് നീ

46. كَأَنَّهُمۡ يَوۡمَ يَرَوۡنَهَا لَمۡ يَلۡبَثُوٓاْ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوۡ ضُحَىٰهَا

    ✦46

    It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof

    അതിനെ അവര്‍ കാണുന്ന ദിവസം ഒരു വൈകുന്നേരമോ ഒരു പ്രഭാതത്തിലോ അല്ലാതെ അവര്‍ (ഇവിടെ) കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടിയിട്ടില്ലാത്ത പോലെയായിരിക്കും (അവര്‍ക്ക് തോന്നുക)
