It opens with the word repeated three times — *the Inevitable Reality. What is the Inevitable Reality? And what will make you know what the Inevitable Reality is?* — before saying anything about it at all. The Quran making you wait.

Then Thamud and 'Ad, and the wind: seven nights and eight days in succession, leaving people fallen as though they were hollow trunks of palm trees.

Then the Day itself: one blast, the earth and mountains lifted and crushed in a single blow, the sky splitting, the Throne carried by eight. And the two hands: the one given his record in his right hand, calling out *"Here, read my record!"* — and the one given it in his left, wishing his death had been the end.

It ends by defending the source of the words themselves, and naming the two things that ruined the second man: he did not believe in Allah, and *he did not encourage the feeding of the poor.*
