The Clear Evidence — al-Bayyinah, the proof that came to people who were waiting for it.
The story
This surah says the whole religion in one sentence: worship Allah alone and mean it, pray, and give to people in need. That is it.

Until the evidence came
Purified pages recited, and division arriving only after the proof did.
AYAH 5
The correct religion
Sincere worship, prayer, zakah — stated as the whole command.
AYAH 6-8
The best of creatures
And Allah pleased with them, and they with Him.
Verses to carry
- 98:5"They were not commanded except to worship Allah, being sincere to Him in religion." The religion in one verse.
- 98:7"Those who have believed and done righteous deeds — they are the best of creatures."
- 98:8"Allah being pleased with them, and they with Him."
Remember this
Allah is pleased with good people — and they are pleased with Him too. It goes both ways.
