Surah Al-Hashr

The Gathering — al-Hashr, the exile of a tribe from Madinah. Ibn 'Abbas رضي الله عنهما called it "Surat an-Nadir".
The story
When people who had lost everything arrived in Madinah, the families there shared their homes and food — and gave the newcomers the better share, even though they did not have much themselves.

- 59:9"They give preference over themselves, even though they are in privation."
- 59:21"Had We sent down this Quran upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled, splitting from fear of Allah."
- 59:18"Let every soul look at what it has sent ahead for tomorrow."
