الواقعة

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُ

   ✦1

   When the Occurrence occurs

   ആ സംഭവം സംഭവിച്ച് കഴിഞ്ഞാല്‍

2. لَيۡسَ لِوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ

   ✦2

   There is, at its occurrence, no denial

   അതിന്‍റെ സംഭവ്യതയെ നിഷേധിക്കുന്ന ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയില്ല

3. خَافِضَةٞ رَّافِعَةٌ

   ✦3

   It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]

   (ആ സംഭവം, ചിലരെ) താഴ്ത്തുന്നതും (ചിലരെ) ഉയര്‍ത്തുന്നതുമായിരിക്കും

4. إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ رَجّٗا

   ✦4

   When the earth is shaken with convulsion

   ഭൂമി കിടുകിടാ വിറപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുകയും

5. وَبُسَّتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ بَسّٗا

   ✦5

   And the mountains are broken down, crumbling

   പര്‍വ്വതങ്ങള്‍ ഇടിച്ച് പൊടിയാക്കപ്പെടുകയും

6. فَكَانَتۡ هَبَآءٗ مُّنۢبَثّٗا

   ✦6

   And become dust dispersing

   അങ്ങനെ അത് പാറിപ്പറക്കുന്ന ധൂളിയായിത്തീരുകയും

7. وَكُنتُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا ثَلَٰثَةٗ

   ✦7

   And you become [of] three kinds

   നിങ്ങള്‍ മൂന്ന് തരക്കാരായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന സന്ദര്‍ഭമത്രെ അത്‌

8. فَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ

   ✦8

   Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right

   അപ്പോള്‍ ഒരു വിഭാഗം വലതുപക്ഷക്കാര്‍. എന്താണ് ഈ വലതുപക്ഷക്കാരുടെ അവസ്ഥ

9. وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ

   ✦9

   And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left

   മറ്റൊരു വിഭാഗം ഇടതുപക്ഷക്കാര്‍. എന്താണ് ഈ ഇടതുപക്ഷക്കാരുടെ അവസ്ഥ

10. وَٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّـٰبِقُونَ

    ✦10

    And the forerunners, the forerunners

    (സത്യവിശ്വാസത്തിലും സല്‍പ്രവൃത്തികളിലും) മുന്നേറിയവര്‍ (പരലോകത്തും) മുന്നോക്കക്കാര്‍ തന്നെ

11. أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ

    ✦11

    Those are the ones brought near [to Allah]

    അവരാകുന്നു സാമീപ്യം നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടവര്‍

12. فِي جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

    ✦12

    In the Gardens of Pleasure

    സുഖാനുഭൂതികളുടെ സ്വര്‍ഗത്തോപ്പുകളില്‍

13. ثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

    ✦13

    A [large] company of the former peoples

    പൂര്‍വ്വികന്‍മാരില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒരു വിഭാഗവും

14. وَقَلِيلٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

    ✦14

    And a few of the later peoples

    പില്‍ക്കാലക്കാരില്‍ നിന്ന് കുറച്ചു പേരുമത്രെ ഇവര്‍

15. عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مَّوۡضُونَةٖ

    ✦15

    On thrones woven [with ornament]

    സ്വര്‍ണനൂലുകൊണ്ട് മെടഞ്ഞുണ്ടാക്കപ്പെട്ട കട്ടിലുകളില്‍ ആയിരിക്കും. അവര്‍

16. مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَيۡهَا مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ

    ✦16

    Reclining on them, facing each other

    അവയില്‍ അവര്‍ പരസ്പരം അഭിമുഖമായി ചാരിയിരിക്കുന്നവരായിരിക്കും

17. يَطُوفُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وِلۡدَٰنٞ مُّخَلَّدُونَ

    ✦17

    There will circulate among them young boys made eternal

    നിത്യജീവിതം നല്‍കപ്പെട്ട ബാലന്‍മാര്‍ അവരുടെ ഇടയില്‍ ചുറ്റി നടക്കും

18. بِأَكۡوَابٖ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأۡسٖ مِّن مَّعِينٖ

    ✦18

    With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring

    കോപ്പകളും കൂജകളും ശുദ്ധമായ ഉറവു ജലം നിറച്ച പാനപാത്രവും കൊണ്ട്‌

19. لَّا يُصَدَّعُونَ عَنۡهَا وَلَا يُنزِفُونَ

    ✦19

    No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated

    അതു (കുടിക്കുക) മൂലം അവര്‍ക്ക് തലവേദനയുണ്ടാവുകയോ, ലഹരി ബാധിക്കുകയോ ഇല്ല

20. وَفَٰكِهَةٖ مِّمَّا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ

    ✦20

    And fruit of what they select

    അവര്‍ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുന്ന തരത്തില്‍ പെട്ട പഴവര്‍ഗങ്ങളും

21. وَلَحۡمِ طَيۡرٖ مِّمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ

    ✦21

    And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire

    അവര്‍ കൊതിക്കുന്ന തരത്തില്‍ പെട്ട പക്ഷിമാംസവും കൊണ്ട് (അവര്‍ ചുറ്റി നടക്കും)

22. وَحُورٌ عِينٞ

    ✦22

    And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes

    വിശാലമായ നയനങ്ങളുള്ള വെളുത്ത തരുണികളും. (അവര്‍ക്കുണ്ട്‌)

23. كَأَمۡثَٰلِ ٱللُّؤۡلُوِٕ ٱلۡمَكۡنُونِ

    ✦23

    The likenesses of pearls well-protected

    (ചിപ്പികളില്‍) ഒളിച്ചു വെക്കപ്പെട്ട മുത്തുപോലെയുള്ളവര്‍

24. جَزَآءَۢ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

    ✦24

    As reward for what they used to do

    അവര്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരുന്നതിനുള്ള പ്രതിഫലമായികൊണ്ടാണ് (അതെല്ലാം നല്‍കപ്പെടുന്നത്‌)

25. لَا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوٗا وَلَا تَأۡثِيمًا

    ✦25

    They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin

    അനാവശ്യവാക്കോ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തലോ അവര്‍ അവിടെ വെച്ച് കേള്‍ക്കുകയില്ല

26. إِلَّا قِيلٗا سَلَٰمٗا سَلَٰمٗا

    ✦26

    Only a saying: "Peace, peace

    സമാധാനം! സമാധാനം! എന്നുള്ള വാക്കല്ലാതെ

27. وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡيَمِينِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

    ✦27

    The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right

    വലതുപക്ഷക്കാര്‍! എന്താണീ വലതുപക്ഷക്കാരുടെ അവസ്ഥ

28. فِي سِدۡرٖ مَّخۡضُودٖ

    ✦28

    [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed

    മുള്ളിലാത്ത ഇലന്തമരം

29. وَطَلۡحٖ مَّنضُودٖ

    ✦29

    And [banana] trees layered [with fruit]

    അടുക്കടുക്കായി കുലകളുള്ള വാഴ

30. وَظِلّٖ مَّمۡدُودٖ

    ✦30

    And shade extended

    വിശാലമായ തണല്‍

31. وَمَآءٖ مَّسۡكُوبٖ

    ✦31

    And water poured out

    സദാ ഒഴുക്കപ്പെട്ടു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വെള്ളം

32. وَفَٰكِهَةٖ كَثِيرَةٖ

    ✦32

    And fruit, abundant [and varied]

    ധാരാളം പഴവര്‍ഗങ്ങള്‍

33. لَّا مَقۡطُوعَةٖ وَلَا مَمۡنُوعَةٖ

    ✦33

    Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden

    നിലച്ചു പോവാത്തതും തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടുപോവാത്തതുമായ

34. وَفُرُشٖ مَّرۡفُوعَةٍ

    ✦34

    And [upon] beds raised high

    ഉയര്‍ന്നമെത്തകള്‍ എന്നീ സുഖാനുഭവങ്ങളിലായിരിക്കും അവര്‍

35. إِنَّآ أَنشَأۡنَٰهُنَّ إِنشَآءٗ

    ✦35

    Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവരെ (സ്വര്‍ഗസ്ത്രീകളെ) നാം ഒരു പ്രത്യേക പ്രകൃതിയോടെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുകയാണ്‌

36. فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُنَّ أَبۡكَارًا

    ✦36

    And made them virgins

    അങ്ങനെ അവരെ നാം കന്യകമാരാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു

37. عُرُبًا أَتۡرَابٗا

    ✦37

    Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age

    സ്നേഹവതികളും സമപ്രായക്കാരും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു

38. لِّأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

    ✦38

    For the companions of the right [who are]

    വലതുപക്ഷക്കാര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയത്രെ അത്‌

39. ثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

    ✦39

    A company of the former peoples

    പൂര്‍വ്വികന്‍മാരില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒരു വിഭാഗവും

40. وَثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

    ✦40

    And a company of the later peoples

    പിന്‍ഗാമികളില്‍ നിന്ന് ഒരു വിഭാഗവും ആയിരിക്കും അവര്‍

41. وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلشِّمَالِ

    ✦41

    And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left

    ഇടതുപക്ഷക്കാര്‍, എന്താണീ ഇടതുപക്ഷക്കാരുടെ അവസ്ഥ

42. فِي سَمُومٖ وَحَمِيمٖ

    ✦42

    [They will be] in scorching fire and scalding water

    തുളച്ചു കയറുന്ന ഉഷ്ണകാറ്റ്‌, ചുട്ടുതിളക്കുന്ന വെള്ളം

43. وَظِلّٖ مِّن يَحۡمُومٖ

    ✦43

    And a shade of black smoke

    കരിമ്പുകയുടെ തണല്‍

44. لَّا بَارِدٖ وَلَا كَرِيمٍ

    ✦44

    Neither cool nor beneficial

    തണുപ്പുള്ളതോ, സുഖദായകമോ അല്ലാത്ത (എന്നീ ദുരിതങ്ങളിലായിരിക്കും അവര്‍)

45. إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَبۡلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُتۡرَفِينَ

    ✦45

    Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence

    എന്തുകൊണ്ടെന്നാല്‍ തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ അതിനു മുമ്പ് സുഖലോലുപന്‍മാരായിരുന്നു

46. وَكَانُواْ يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى ٱلۡحِنثِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

    ✦46

    And they used to persist in the great violation

    അവര്‍ ഗുരുതരമായ പാപത്തില്‍ ശഠിച്ചുനില്‍ക്കുന്നവരുമായിരുന്നു

47. وَكَانُواْ يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ

    ✦47

    And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected

    അവര്‍ ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു: ഞങ്ങള്‍ മരിച്ചിട്ട് മണ്ണും അസ്ഥിശകലങ്ങളുമായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടാണോ ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടാന്‍ പോകുന്നത്‌

48. أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ

    ✦48

    And our forefathers [as well]

    ഞങ്ങളുടെ പൂര്‍വ്വികരായ പിതാക്കളും (ഉയിര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുമെന്നോ)

49. قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ وَٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

    ✦49

    Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples

    നീ പറയുക: തീര്‍ച്ചയായും പൂര്‍വ്വികരും പില്‍ക്കാലക്കാരും എല്ലാം

50. لَمَجۡمُوعُونَ إِلَىٰ مِيقَٰتِ يَوۡمٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ

    ✦50

    Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day

    ഒരു നിശ്ചിത ദിവസത്തെ കൃത്യമായ ഒരു അവധിക്ക് ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടപ്പെടുന്നവര്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു

51. ثُمَّ إِنَّكُمۡ أَيُّهَا ٱلضَّآلُّونَ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبُونَ

    ✦51

    Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers

    എന്നിട്ട്‌, ഹേ; സത്യനിഷേധികളായ ദുര്‍മാര്‍ഗികളേ

52. لَأٓكِلُونَ مِن شَجَرٖ مِّن زَقُّومٖ

    ✦52

    Will be eating from trees of zaqqum

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള്‍ ഒരു വൃക്ഷത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് അതായത് സഖ്ഖൂമില്‍ നിന്ന് ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നവരാകുന്നു

53. فَمَالِـُٔونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَ

    ✦53

    And filling with it your bellies

    അങ്ങനെ അതില്‍ നിന്ന് വയറുകള്‍ നിറക്കുന്നവരും

54. فَشَٰرِبُونَ عَلَيۡهِ مِنَ ٱلۡحَمِيمِ

    ✦54

    And drinking on top of it from scalding water

    അതിന്‍റെ മീതെ തിളച്ചുപൊള്ളുന്ന വെള്ളത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് കുടിക്കുന്നവരുമാകുന്നു

55. فَشَٰرِبُونَ شُرۡبَ ٱلۡهِيمِ

    ✦55

    And will drink as the drinking of thirsty camels

    അങ്ങനെ ദാഹിച്ചു വലഞ്ഞ ഒട്ടകം കുടിക്കുന്നപോലെ കുടിക്കുന്നവരാകുന്നു

56. هَٰذَا نُزُلُهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ

    ✦56

    That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense

    ഇതായിരിക്കും പ്രതിഫലത്തിന്‍റെ നാളില്‍ അവര്‍ക്കുള്ള സല്‍ക്കാരം

57. نَحۡنُ خَلَقۡنَٰكُمۡ فَلَوۡلَا تُصَدِّقُونَ

    ✦57

    We have created you, so why do you not believe

    നാമാണ് നിങ്ങളെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്‌. എന്നിരിക്കെ നിങ്ങളെന്താണ് (എന്‍റെ സന്ദേശങ്ങളെ) സത്യമായി അംഗീകരിക്കാത്തത്‌

58. أَفَرَءَيۡتُم مَّا تُمۡنُونَ

    ✦58

    Have you seen that which you emit

    അപ്പോള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ സ്രവിക്കുന്ന ശുക്ലത്തെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചു നോക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ

59. ءَأَنتُمۡ تَخۡلُقُونَهُۥٓ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡخَٰلِقُونَ

    ✦59

    Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator

    നിങ്ങളാണോ അത് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കുന്നത്‌. അതല്ല, നാമാണോ സൃഷ്ടികര്‍ത്താവ്‌

60. نَحۡنُ قَدَّرۡنَا بَيۡنَكُمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَسۡبُوقِينَ

    ✦60

    We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone

    നാം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ മരണം കണക്കാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. നാം ഒരിക്കലും തോല്‍പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നവനല്ല

61. عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّبَدِّلَ أَمۡثَٰلَكُمۡ وَنُنشِئَكُمۡ فِي مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

    ✦61

    In that We will change your likenesses and produce you in that [form] which you do not know

    (നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കു) പകരം നിങ്ങളെ പോലുള്ളവരെ കൊണ്ടുവരികയും. നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് അറിവില്ലാത്ത വിധത്തില്‍ നിങ്ങളെ (വീണ്ടും) സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന കാര്യത്തില്‍

62. وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتُمُ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ فَلَوۡلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ

    ✦62

    And you have already known the first creation, so will you not remember

    ആദ്യതവണ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടതിനെപ്പറ്റി തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്‌. എന്നിട്ടും നിങ്ങള്‍ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് ആലോചിച്ചു നോക്കുന്നില്ല

63. أَفَرَءَيۡتُم مَّا تَحۡرُثُونَ

    ✦63

    And have you seen that [seed] which you sow

    എന്നാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ കൃഷി ചെയ്യുന്നതിനെ പറ്റി നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചു നോക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ

64. ءَأَنتُمۡ تَزۡرَعُونَهُۥٓ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلزَّـٰرِعُونَ

    ✦64

    Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower

    നിങ്ങളാണോ അത് മുളപ്പിച്ചു വളര്‍ത്തുന്നത്‌. അതല്ല നാമാണോ, അത് മുളപ്പിച്ച് വളര്‍ത്തുന്നവന്‍

65. لَوۡ نَشَآءُ لَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ حُطَٰمٗا فَظَلۡتُمۡ تَفَكَّهُونَ

    ✦65

    If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder

    നാം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ അത് (വിള) നാം തുരുമ്പാക്കിത്തീര്‍ക്കുമായിരുന്നു. അപ്പോള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അതിശയപ്പെട്ടു പറഞ്ഞുകൊണേ്ടയിരിക്കുമായിരന്നു

66. إِنَّا لَمُغۡرَمُونَ

    ✦66

    [Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങള്‍ കടബാധിതര്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു

67. بَلۡ نَحۡنُ مَحۡرُومُونَ

    ✦67

    Rather, we have been deprived

    അല്ല, ഞങ്ങള്‍ (ഉപജീവന മാര്‍ഗം) തടയപ്പെട്ടവരാകുന്നു എന്ന്‌

68. أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَآءَ ٱلَّذِي تَشۡرَبُونَ

    ✦68

    And have you seen the water that you drink

    ഇനി, നിങ്ങള്‍ കുടിക്കുന്ന വെള്ളത്തെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചു നോക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ

69. ءَأَنتُمۡ أَنزَلۡتُمُوهُ مِنَ ٱلۡمُزۡنِ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُنزِلُونَ

    ✦69

    Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down

    നിങ്ങളാണോ അത് മേഘത്തിന്‍ നിന്ന് ഇറക്കിയത്‌? അതല്ല, നാമാണോ ഇറക്കിയവന്‍

70. لَوۡ نَشَآءُ جَعَلۡنَٰهُ أُجَاجٗا فَلَوۡلَا تَشۡكُرُونَ

    ✦70

    If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful

    നാം ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍ അത് നാം ദുസ്സ്വാദുള്ള ഉപ്പുവെള്ളമാക്കുമായിരുന്നു. എന്നിരിക്കെ നിങ്ങള്‍ നന്ദികാണിക്കാത്തതെന്താണ്‌

71. أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِي تُورُونَ

    ✦71

    And have you seen the fire that you ignite

    നിങ്ങള്‍ ഉരസികത്തിക്കുന്നതായ തീയിനെ പറ്റി നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചു നോക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ

72. ءَأَنتُمۡ أَنشَأۡتُمۡ شَجَرَتَهَآ أَمۡ نَحۡنُ ٱلۡمُنشِـُٔونَ

    ✦72

    Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer

    നിങ്ങളാണോ അതിന്‍റെ മരം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയത്‌? അതല്ല നാമാണോ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയവന്‍

73. نَحۡنُ جَعَلۡنَٰهَا تَذۡكِرَةٗ وَمَتَٰعٗا لِّلۡمُقۡوِينَ

    ✦73

    We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers

    നാം അതിനെ ഒരു ചിന്താവിഷയമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ദരിദ്രരായ സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ക്ക് ഒരു ജീവിതസൌകര്യവും

74. فَسَبِّحۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

    ✦74

    So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great

    ആകയാല്‍ നിന്‍റെ മഹാനായ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ നാമത്തെ നീ പ്രകീര്‍ത്തിക്കുക

75. ۞فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِمَوَٰقِعِ ٱلنُّجُومِ

    ✦75

    Then I swear by the setting of the stars

    അല്ല, നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുടെ അസ്തമന സ്ഥാനങ്ങളെകൊണ്ട് ഞാന്‍ സത്യം ചെയ്തു പറയുന്നു

76. وَإِنَّهُۥ لَقَسَمٞ لَّوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عَظِيمٌ

    ✦76

    And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും, നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കറിയാമെങ്കില്‍, അതൊരു വമ്പിച്ച സത്യം തന്നെയാണ്‌

77. إِنَّهُۥ لَقُرۡءَانٞ كَرِيمٞ

    ✦77

    Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇത് ആദരണീയമായ ഒരു ഖുര്‍ആന്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു

78. فِي كِتَٰبٖ مَّكۡنُونٖ

    ✦78

    In a Register well-protected

    ഭദ്രമായി സൂക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു രേഖയിലാകുന്നു അത്‌

79. لَّا يَمَسُّهُۥٓ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُطَهَّرُونَ

    ✦79

    None touch it except the purified

    പരിശുദ്ധി നല്‍കപ്പെട്ടവരല്ലാതെ അത് സ്പര്‍ശിക്കുകയില്ല

80. تَنزِيلٞ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ

    ✦80

    [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds

    ലോകരക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് അവതരിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടതത്രെ അത്‌

81. أَفَبِهَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِ أَنتُم مُّدۡهِنُونَ

    ✦81

    Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent

    അപ്പോള്‍ ഈ വര്‍ത്തമാനത്തിന്‍റെ കാര്യത്തിലാണോ നിങ്ങള്‍ പുറംപൂച്ച് കാണിക്കുന്നത്‌

82. وَتَجۡعَلُونَ رِزۡقَكُمۡ أَنَّكُمۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ

    ✦82

    And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]

    സത്യത്തെ നിഷേധിക്കുക എന്നത് നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഹിതമാക്കുകയാണോ

83. فَلَوۡلَآ إِذَا بَلَغَتِ ٱلۡحُلۡقُومَ

    ✦83

    Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat

    എന്നാല്‍ അത് (ജീവന്‍) തൊണ്ടക്കുഴിയില്‍ എത്തുമ്പോള്‍ എന്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് (നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കത് പിടിച്ചു നിര്‍ത്താനാകാത്തത്‌)

84. وَأَنتُمۡ حِينَئِذٖ تَنظُرُونَ

    ✦84

    And you are at that time looking on

    നിങ്ങള്‍ അന്നേരത്ത് നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമല്ലോ

85. وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَيۡهِ مِنكُمۡ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبۡصِرُونَ

    ✦85

    And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see

    നാമാണ് ആ വ്യക്തിയെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം നിങ്ങളെക്കാളും അടുത്തവന്‍. പക്ഷെ നിങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടറിയുന്നില്ല

86. فَلَوۡلَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ غَيۡرَ مَدِينِينَ

    ✦86

    Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed

    അപ്പോള്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ (ദൈവിക നിയമത്തിന്‌) വിധേയരല്ലാത്തവരാണെങ്കില്‍

87. تَرۡجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ

    ✦87

    Bring it back, if you should be truthful

    നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കെന്തുകൊണ്ട് അത് (ജീവന്‍) മടക്കി എടുക്കാനാവുന്നില്ല; നിങ്ങള്‍ സത്യവാദികളാണെങ്കില്‍

88. فَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَ

    ✦88

    And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah

    അപ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ (മരിച്ചവന്‍) സാമീപ്യം സിദ്ധിച്ചവരില്‍ പെട്ടവനാണെങ്കില്‍

89. فَرَوۡحٞ وَرَيۡحَانٞ وَجَنَّتُ نَعِيمٖ

    ✦89

    Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure

    (അവന്ന്‌) ആശ്വാസവും വിശിഷ്ടമായ ഉപജീവനവും സുഖാനുഭൂതിയുടെ സ്വര്‍ഗത്തോപ്പും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും

90. وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

    ✦90

    And if he was of the companions of the right

    എന്നാല്‍ അവന്‍ വലതുപക്ഷക്കാരില്‍ പെട്ടവനാണെങ്കിലോ

91. فَسَلَٰمٞ لَّكَ مِنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ

    ✦91

    Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right

    വലതുപക്ഷക്കാരില്‍പെട്ട നിനക്ക് സമാധാനം എന്നായിരിക്കും (അവന്നു ലഭിക്കുന്ന അഭിവാദ്യം)

92. وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

    ✦92

    But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray

    ഇനി അവന്‍ ദുര്‍മാര്‍ഗികളായ സത്യനിഷേധികളില്‍ പെട്ടവനാണെങ്കിലോ

93. فَنُزُلٞ مِّنۡ حَمِيمٖ

    ✦93

    Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water

    ചുട്ടുതിളക്കുന്ന വെള്ളം കൊണ്ടുള്ള സല്‍ക്കാരവും

94. وَتَصۡلِيَةُ جَحِيمٍ

    ✦94

    And burning in Hellfire

    നരകത്തില്‍ വെച്ചുള്ള ചുട്ടെരിക്കലുമാണ്‌. (അവന്നുള്ളത്‌)

95. إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ حَقُّ ٱلۡيَقِينِ

    ✦95

    Indeed, this is the true certainty

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഇതു തന്നെയാണ് ഉറപ്പുള്ള യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യം

96. فَسَبِّحۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ

    ✦96

    So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great

    ആകയാല്‍ നീ നിന്‍റെ മഹാനായ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ നാമം പ്രകീര്‍ത്തിക്കുക
