النجم

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. وَٱلنَّجۡمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ

   ✦1

   By the star when it descends

   നക്ഷത്രം അസ്തമിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അതിനെ തന്നെയാണ, സത്യം

2. مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمۡ وَمَا غَوَىٰ

   ✦2

   Your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred

   നിങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്‍ വഴിതെറ്റിയിട്ടില്ല. ദുര്‍മാര്‍ഗിയായിട്ടുമില്ല

3. وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰٓ

   ✦3

   Nor does he speak from [his own] inclination

   അദ്ദേഹം തന്നിഷ്ടപ്രകാരം സംസാരിക്കുന്നുമില്ല

4. إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحۡيٞ يُوحَىٰ

   ✦4

   It is not but a revelation revealed

   അത് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ദിവ്യസന്ദേശമായി നല്‍കപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ഉല്‍ബോധനം മാത്രമാകുന്നു

5. عَلَّمَهُۥ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡقُوَىٰ

   ✦5

   Taught to him by one intense in strength

   ശക്തിമത്തായ കഴിവുള്ളവനാണ് (ജിബ്‌രീല്‍ എന്ന മലക്കാണ്‌) അദ്ദേഹത്തെ പഠിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്‌

6. ذُو مِرَّةٖ فَٱسۡتَوَىٰ

   ✦6

   One of soundness. And he rose to [his] true form

   കരുത്തുള്ള ഒരു വ്യക്തി. അങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹം (സാക്ഷാല്‍ രൂപത്തില്‍) നിലകൊണ്ടു

7. وَهُوَ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

   ✦7

   While he was in the higher [part of the] horizon

   അദ്ദേഹമാകട്ടെ അത്യുന്നതമായ മണ്ഡലത്തിലായിരുന്നു

8. ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ

   ✦8

   Then he approached and descended

   പിന്നെ അദ്ദേഹം അടുത്തു വന്നു. അങ്ങനെ കൂടുതല്‍ അടുത്തു

9. فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوۡسَيۡنِ أَوۡ أَدۡنَىٰ

   ✦9

   And was at a distance of two bow lengths or nearer

   അങ്ങനെ അദ്ദേഹം രണ്ടു വില്ലുകളുടെ അകലത്തിലോ അതിനെക്കാള്‍ അടുത്തോ ആയിരുന്നു

10. فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ عَبۡدِهِۦ مَآ أَوۡحَىٰ

    ✦10

    And he revealed to His Servant what he revealed

    അപ്പോള്‍ അവന്‍ (അല്ലാഹു) തന്‍റെ ദാസന് അവന്‍ ബോധനം നല്‍കിയതെല്ലാം ബോധനം നല്‍കി

11. مَا كَذَبَ ٱلۡفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَىٰٓ

    ✦11

    The heart did not lie [about] what it saw

    അദ്ദേഹം കണ്ട ആ കാഴ്ച (അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്‍റെ) ഹൃദയം നിഷേധിച്ചിട്ടില്ല

12. أَفَتُمَٰرُونَهُۥ عَلَىٰ مَا يَرَىٰ

    ✦12

    So will you dispute with him over what he saw

    എന്നിരിക്കെ അദ്ദേഹം (നേരില്‍) കാണുന്നതിന്‍റെ പേരില്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് തര്‍ക്കിക്കുകയാണോ

13. وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ نَزۡلَةً أُخۡرَىٰ

    ✦13

    And he certainly saw him in another descent

    മറ്റൊരു ഇറക്കത്തിലും അദ്ദേഹം മലക്കിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്‌

14. عِندَ سِدۡرَةِ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

    ✦14

    At the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary

    അറ്റത്തെ ഇലന്തമരത്തിനടുത്ത് വെച്ച്‌

15. عِندَهَا جَنَّةُ ٱلۡمَأۡوَىٰٓ

    ✦15

    Near it is the Garden of Refuge

    അതിന്നടുത്താകുന്നു താമസിക്കാനുള്ള സ്വര്‍ഗം

16. إِذۡ يَغۡشَى ٱلسِّدۡرَةَ مَا يَغۡشَىٰ

    ✦16

    When there covered the Lote Tree that which covered [it]

    ആ ഇലന്തമരത്തെ ആവരണം ചെയ്യുന്നതൊക്കെ അതിനെ ആവരണം ചെയ്തിരുന്നപ്പോള്‍

17. مَا زَاغَ ٱلۡبَصَرُ وَمَا طَغَىٰ

    ✦17

    The sight [of the Prophet] did not swerve, nor did it transgress [its limit]

    (നബിയുടെ) ദൃഷ്ടി തെറ്റിപോയിട്ടില്ല. അതിക്രമിച്ചുപോയിട്ടുമില്ല

18. لَقَدۡ رَأَىٰ مِنۡ ءَايَٰتِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓ

    ✦18

    He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും തന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ അതിമഹത്തായ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങളില്‍ ചിലത് അദ്ദേഹം കാണുകയുണ്ടായി

19. أَفَرَءَيۡتُمُ ٱللَّـٰتَ وَٱلۡعُزَّىٰ

    ✦19

    So have you considered al-Lat and al-'Uzza

    ലാത്തയെയും ഉസ്സയെയും പറ്റി നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിന്തിച്ചു നോക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ

20. وَمَنَوٰةَ ٱلثَّالِثَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰٓ

    ✦20

    And Manat, the third - the other one

    വേറെ മൂന്നാമതായുള്ള മനാത്തയെ പറ്റിയും

21. أَلَكُمُ ٱلذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

    ✦21

    Is the male for you and for Him the female

    (സന്താനമായി) നിങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ആണും അല്ലാഹുവിന് പെണ്ണുമാണെന്നോ

22. تِلۡكَ إِذٗا قِسۡمَةٞ ضِيزَىٰٓ

    ✦22

    That, then, is an unjust division

    എങ്കില്‍ അത് നീതിയില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ഓഹരി വെക്കല്‍ തന്നെ

23. إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّآ أَسۡمَآءٞ سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلۡطَٰنٍۚ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهۡوَى ٱلۡأَنفُسُۖ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مِّن رَّبِّهِمُ ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ

    ✦23

    They are not but [mere] names you have named them - you and your forefathers - for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidance

    നിങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കളും നാമകരണം ചെയ്ത ചില പേരുകളല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമല്ല അവ (ദേവതകള്‍.) അവയെപ്പറ്റി അല്ലാഹു യാതൊരു പ്രമാണവും ഇറക്കിതന്നിട്ടില്ല. ഊഹത്തെയും മനസ്സുകള്‍ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതിനെയും മാത്രമാണ് അവര്‍ പിന്തുടരുന്നത്‌. അവര്‍ക്ക് തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല്‍ നിന്ന് സന്‍മാര്‍ഗം വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട് താനും

24. أَمۡ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ مَا تَمَنَّىٰ

    ✦24

    Or is there for man whatever he wishes

    അതല്ല, മനുഷ്യന് അവന്‍ മോഹിച്ചതാണോ ലഭിക്കുന്നത്‌

25. فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ

    ✦25

    Rather, to Allah belongs the Hereafter and the first [life]

    എന്നാല്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന്നാകുന്നു ഇഹലോകവും പരലോകവും

26. ۞وَكَم مِّن مَّلَكٖ فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ لَا تُغۡنِي شَفَٰعَتُهُمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِلَّا مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَن يَأۡذَنَ ٱللَّهُ لِمَن يَشَآءُ وَيَرۡضَىٰٓ

    ✦26

    And how many angels there are in the heavens whose intercession will not avail at all except [only] after Allah has permitted [it] to whom He wills and approves

    ആകാശങ്ങളില്‍ എത്ര മലക്കുകളാണുള്ളത്‌! അവരുടെ ശുപാര്‍ശ യാതൊരു പ്രയോജനവും ചെയ്യുകയില്ല; അല്ലാഹു അവന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുകയും തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് (ശുപാര്‍ശയ്ക്ക്‌) അനുവാദം നല്‍കിയതിന്‍റെ ശേഷമല്ലാതെ

27. إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰٓئِكَةَ تَسۡمِيَةَ ٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

    ✦27

    Indeed, those who do not believe in the Hereafter name the angels female names

    തീര്‍ച്ചയായും പരലോകത്തില്‍ വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവര്‍ മലക്കുകള്‍ക്ക് പേരിടുന്നത് സ്ത്രീ നാമങ്ങളാകുന്നു

28. وَمَا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنۡ عِلۡمٍۖ إِن يَتَّبِعُونَ إِلَّا ٱلظَّنَّۖ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّنَّ لَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ شَيۡـٔٗا

    ✦28

    And they have thereof no knowledge. They follow not except assumption, and indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all

    അവര്‍ക്ക് അതിനെ പറ്റി യാതൊരു അറിവുമില്ല. അവര്‍ ഊഹത്തെ മാത്രമാകുന്നു പിന്തുടരുന്നത്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും ഊഹം സത്യത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ചേടത്തോളം ഒട്ടും പ്രയോജനം ചെയ്യുകയില്ല

29. فَأَعۡرِضۡ عَن مَّن تَوَلَّىٰ عَن ذِكۡرِنَا وَلَمۡ يُرِدۡ إِلَّا ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا

    ✦29

    So turn away from whoever turns his back on Our message and desires not except the worldly life

    ആകയാല്‍ നമ്മുടെ സ്മരണ വിട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞുകളയുകയും ഐഹികജീവിതം മാത്രം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തവരില്‍ നിന്ന് നീ തിരിഞ്ഞുകളയുക

30. ذَٰلِكَ مَبۡلَغُهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ

    ✦30

    That is their sum of knowledge. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who strays from His way, and He is most knowing of who is guided

    അറിവില്‍നിന്ന് അവര്‍ ആകെ എത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളത് അത്രത്തോളമാകുന്നു. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവാകുന്നു അവന്‍റെ മാര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് തെറ്റിപ്പോയവരെപ്പറ്റി കൂടുതല്‍ അറിവുള്ളവന്‍. സന്‍മാര്‍ഗം പ്രാപിച്ചവരെ പറ്റി കൂടുതല്‍ അറിവുള്ളവനും അവന്‍ തന്നെയാകുന്നു

31. وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَسَـٰٓـُٔواْ بِمَا عَمِلُواْ وَيَجۡزِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَحۡسَنُواْ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَى

    ✦31

    And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth - that He may recompense those who do evil with [the penalty of] what they have done and recompense those who do good with the best [reward]

    അല്ലാഹുവിന്നുള്ളതാകുന്നു ആകാശങ്ങളിലുള്ളതും ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതും. തിന്‍മ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചവര്‍ക്ക് അവര്‍ ചെയ്യുന്നതിനനുസരിച്ച് പ്രതിഫലം നല്‍കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയത്രെ അത്‌. നന്‍മ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചവര്‍ക്ക് ഏറ്റവും നല്ല പ്രതിഫലം നല്‍കുവാന്‍ വേണ്ടിയും

32. ٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَـٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَٰسِعُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِكُمۡ إِذۡ أَنشَأَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَإِذۡ أَنتُمۡ أَجِنَّةٞ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمۡۖ فَلَا تُزَكُّوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡۖ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰٓ

    ✦32

    Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him

    അതായത് വലിയ പാപങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും, നിസ്സാരമായതൊഴിച്ചുള്ള നീചവൃത്തികളില്‍ നിന്നും വിട്ടകന്നു നില്‍ക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക്‌. തീര്‍ച്ചയായും നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് വിശാലമായി പാപമോചനം നല്‍കുന്നവനാകുന്നു. നിങ്ങളെ ഭൂമിയില്‍ നിന്ന് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിയ സന്ദര്‍ഭത്തിലും, നിങ്ങള്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഉമ്മമാരുടെ വയറുകളില്‍ ഗര്‍ഭസ്ഥശിശുക്കളായിരിക്കുന്ന സന്ദര്‍ഭത്തിലും അവനാകുന്നു നിങ്ങളെ പറ്റി കൂടുതല്‍ അറിവുള്ളവന്‍. അതിനാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ ആത്മപ്രശംസ നടത്താതിരിക്കുക. അവനാകുന്നു സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിച്ചവരെപ്പറ്റി നന്നായി അറിയുന്നവന്‍

33. أَفَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ

    ✦33

    Have you seen the one who turned away

    എന്നാല്‍ പിന്‍മാറിക്കളഞ്ഞ ഒരുത്തനെ നീ കണ്ടുവോ

34. وَأَعۡطَىٰ قَلِيلٗا وَأَكۡدَىٰٓ

    ✦34

    And gave a little and [then] refrained

    അല്‍പമൊക്കെ അവന്‍ ദാനം നല്‍കുകയും എന്നിട്ട് അത് നിര്‍ത്തിക്കളയുകയും ചെയ്തു

35. أَعِندَهُۥ عِلۡمُ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ فَهُوَ يَرَىٰٓ

    ✦35

    Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees

    അവന്‍റെ അടുക്കല്‍ അദൃശ്യജ്ഞാനമുണ്ടായിട്ട് അതു മുഖേന അവന്‍ കണ്ടറിഞ്ഞ് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണോ

36. أَمۡ لَمۡ يُنَبَّأۡ بِمَا فِي صُحُفِ مُوسَىٰ

    ✦36

    Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses

    അതല്ല, മൂസായുടെ പത്രികകളില്‍ ഉള്ളതിനെ പറ്റി അവന് വിവരം അറിയിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ലേ

37. وَإِبۡرَٰهِيمَ ٱلَّذِي وَفَّىٰٓ

    ✦37

    And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations]

    (കടമകള്‍) നിറവേറ്റിയ ഇബ്രാഹീമിന്‍റെയും (പത്രികകളില്‍)

38. أَلَّا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٞ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰ

    ✦38

    That no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another

    അതായത് പാപഭാരം വഹിക്കുന്ന ഒരാളും മറ്റൊരാളുടെ പാപഭാരം വഹിക്കുകയില്ലെന്നും

39. وَأَن لَّيۡسَ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ

    ✦39

    And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives

    മനുഷ്യന്ന് താന്‍ പ്രയത്നിച്ചതല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുമില്ല എന്നും

40. وَأَنَّ سَعۡيَهُۥ سَوۡفَ يُرَىٰ

    ✦40

    And that his effort is going to be seen

    അവന്‍റെ പ്രയത്നഫലം വഴിയെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കപ്പെടും എന്നുമുള്ള കാര്യം

41. ثُمَّ يُجۡزَىٰهُ ٱلۡجَزَآءَ ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰ

    ✦41

    Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense

    പിന്നീട് അവന് അതിന് ഏറ്റവും പൂര്‍ണ്ണമായ പ്രതിഫലം നല്‍കപ്പെടുന്നതാണെന്നും

42. وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ

    ✦42

    And that to your Lord is the finality

    നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കലേക്കാണ് എല്ലാം ചെന്ന് അവസാനിക്കുന്നതെന്നും

43. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَضۡحَكَ وَأَبۡكَىٰ

    ✦43

    And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep

    അവന്‍ തന്നെയാണ് ചിരിപ്പിക്കുകയും കരയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതെന്നും

44. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحۡيَا

    ✦44

    And that it is He who causes death and gives life

    അവന്‍ തന്നെയാണ് മരിപ്പിക്കുകയും ജീവിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തതെന്നും

45. وَأَنَّهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱلزَّوۡجَيۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ

    ✦45

    And that He creates the two mates - the male and female

    ആണ്‍‍ , പെണ്‍‍ എന്നീ രണ്ട് ഇണകളെ അവനാണ് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചതെന്നും

46. مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ إِذَا تُمۡنَىٰ

    ✦46

    From a sperm-drop when it is emitted

    ഒരു ബീജം സ്രവിക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോള്‍ അതില്‍ നിന്ന്‌

47. وَأَنَّ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ

    ✦47

    And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation

    രണ്ടാമത് ജനിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നത് അവന്‍റെ ചുമതലയിലാണെന്നും

48. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَغۡنَىٰ وَأَقۡنَىٰ

    ✦48

    And that it is He who enriches and suffices

    ഐശ്വര്യം നല്‍കുകയും സംതൃപ്തി വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തത് അവന്‍ തന്നെയാണ് എന്നും

49. وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلشِّعۡرَىٰ

    ✦49

    And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius

    അവന്‍ തന്നെയാണ് ശിഅ്‌റാ നക്ഷത്രത്തിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവ്‌. എന്നുമുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങള്‍

50. وَأَنَّهُۥٓ أَهۡلَكَ عَادًا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ

    ✦50

    And that He destroyed the first [people of] 'Aad

    ആദിമ ജനതയായ ആദിനെ അവനാണ് നശിപ്പിച്ചതെന്നും

51. وَثَمُودَاْ فَمَآ أَبۡقَىٰ

    ✦51

    And Thamud - and He did not spare [them]

    ഥമൂദിനെയും. എന്നിട്ട് (ഒരാളെയും) അവന്‍ അവശേഷിപ്പിച്ചില്ല

52. وَقَوۡمَ نُوحٖ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰ

    ✦52

    And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing

    അതിന് മുമ്പ് നൂഹിന്‍റെ ജനതയെയും (അവന്‍ നശിപ്പിച്ചു.) തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ അക്രമവും, കൂടുതല്‍ ധിക്കാരവും കാണിച്ചവരായിരുന്നു

53. وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ

    ✦53

    And the overturned towns He hurled down

    കീഴ്മേല്‍ മറിഞ്ഞ രാജ്യത്തെയും, അവന്‍ തകര്‍ത്തു കളഞ്ഞു

54. فَغَشَّىٰهَا مَا غَشَّىٰ

    ✦54

    And covered them by that which He covered

    അങ്ങനെ ആ രാജ്യത്തെ അവന്‍ ഭയങ്കരമായ ഒരു (ശിക്ഷയുടെ) ആവരണം കൊണ്ട് പൊതിഞ്ഞു

55. فَبِأَيِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ

    ✦55

    Then which of the favors of your Lord do you doubt

    അപ്പോള്‍ നിന്‍റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളില്‍ ഏതൊന്നിനെപ്പറ്റിയാണ് നീ തര്‍ക്കിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്‌

56. هَٰذَا نَذِيرٞ مِّنَ ٱلنُّذُرِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰٓ

    ✦56

    This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners

    ഇദ്ദേഹം (മുഹമ്മദ് നബി) പൂര്‍വ്വികരായ താക്കീതുകാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില്‍ പെട്ട ഒരു താക്കീതുകാരന്‍ ആകുന്നു

57. أَزِفَتِ ٱلۡأٓزِفَةُ

    ✦57

    The Approaching Day has approached

    സമീപസ്ഥമായ ആ സംഭവം ആസന്നമായിരിക്കുന്നു

58. لَيۡسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌ

    ✦58

    Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover

    അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ അതിനെ തട്ടിനീക്കാന്‍ ആരുമില്ല

59. أَفَمِنۡ هَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِ تَعۡجَبُونَ

    ✦59

    Then at this statement do you wonder

    അപ്പോള്‍ ഈ വാര്‍ത്തയെപ്പറ്റി നിങ്ങള്‍ അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുകയും

60. وَتَضۡحَكُونَ وَلَا تَبۡكُونَ

    ✦60

    And you laugh and do not weep

    നിങ്ങള്‍ ചിരിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയും നിങ്ങള്‍ കരയാതിരിക്കുകയും

61. وَأَنتُمۡ سَٰمِدُونَ

    ✦61

    While you are proudly sporting

    നിങ്ങള്‍ അശ്രദ്ധയില്‍ കഴിയുകയുമാണോ

62. فَٱسۡجُدُواْۤ لِلَّهِۤ وَٱعۡبُدُواْ۩

    ✦62

    So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]

    അതിനാല്‍ നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവിന് പ്രണാമം ചെയ്യുകയും (അവനെ) ആരാധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുവിന്‍
